In the realm of anti-ageing treatments, there's a plethora of options and theories, making it challenging to discern what truly delivers results. While lasers are typically associated with hair removal, they can also rejuvenate skin by stimulating central cells, and now, there's an enticing offer on a celebrity-endorsed anti-ageing laser treatment.
LYMA, adored by celebrities such as Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Naomie Harris, is currently offering a complimentary LYMA Supplement starter kit worth £199 with the purchase of either the LYMA Laser for £1,999 or LASER Pro for £4,995. This kit combines the brand's two key innovations: laser technology and next-generation supplementation, providing both surface-level skin support and cellular support from within.
The LYMA Laser is a cold laser designed to rejuvenate your skin by activating a genetic switch within each cell. According to the brand, this process can improve wrinkles, reverse sagging, and fade pigmentation. With just three minutes of use per day, customers can see results in as little as 30 days - and it's reportedly painless to use, according to the Mirror.
The LYMA Laser Pro takes things up a notch, purportedly tripling the power of the standard LYMA Laser with a larger lens and quicker results. It's also painless, portable, and suitable for all skin tones. It can be used over makeup, SPF, and on the go, as both devices are cordless.
The complimentary LYMA Supplement gift comprises eleven components, including turmeric extract, prebiotic beta-glucans, plant-based vitamin D, stable vitamin K, ashwagandha extract, and additional ingredients, which are claimed to assist with sleep, stress, and skin concerns. Users need to consume four capsules daily with water.
Shoppers can get a free gift when they purchase either the LYMA Laser or LASER Pro

This exclusive Gift With Purchase is said to bring together the brands two core innovations which are laser technology and next-gen supplementation that offers skin support on the surface and cellular support from within. The offer ends August 15th.
Typically retailing at £199, it's currently offered at no cost when purchasing one of the accompanying laser devices. This promotion concludes on 15th August.
For those seeking alternatives, additional choices are available, such as the STYLPRO Pure Red LED Light Therapy Facial Device (£99, Argos). This device penetrates deeply into the skin and is reported to encourage smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin. Another alternative is the Sensee Professional LED Light Therapy Face Mask (£139.99, Boots), which helps brighten, tighten, purify, clarify, and naturally reverse signs of ageing.
The LYMA range has received favourable reviews on its website, nevertheless. One customer commented: "Expensive but I think it's making a difference and will hopefully cut the cost of going for facials."
A separate reviewer noted: "I've been using the laser for - 6 weeks, once a day. While it is a hefty time commitment, I feel like I'm getting a $300 (£221) spa facial every day. It's fairly easy to work into my routine, simple and painless to use, doubles as a fancy gua sha tool and leaves my skin glowing."
One satisfied customer shared their experience with a skincare product, noting improvements in their 71-year-old skin: "Though I haven't finished the full three months, I am seeing positive results on my 71-year-old skin: nice how smoother texture, lessening fine lines and maybe some reduction in my deep wrinkles," they said.
They also mentioned not using it daily but managing 5-6 times a week, finding the treatment very relaxing and looking forward to upgrading to the Pro version for more consistent use, adding: "Have trouble using it every day, but usually do 5-6 times a week. I must say, I find some treatments very relaxing and something I look forward to doing.
"Planning to splurge on the Pro version - cutting the treatment time will help me to be more consistent. Thanks for the great product and very responsive customer service."
However, not all feedback was glowing, as one individual encountered an issue with a supplement: "I had only one negative experience, I received a package that had one of the capsules opened, and it stained everywhere it touched and bled through the container that I have from LYMA onto my white marble nightstand."
Another person expressed enthusiasm for the product's availability, saying: "Love this so much. Been waiting forever for it to be allowed in the US."

Prince William and Kate 'eyeing up move' to historic castle with dark past

Prince William and Kate Middleton are understood to be considering a move from their three-bedroom home in Windsor after three years. There's ongoing speculation that Prince William and Kate Middleton could be considering a house move from their current home in Adelaide Cottage after three years. However, its the intriguing history of the potential residence which has sparked conversation. Adelaide Cottage is considered small in comparison to the size of the Wales family's previous full-time home, a grand apartment in Kensington Palace. Reports suggest they are seeking a larger space for their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. An insider has hinted according to reports in the Mirror, that the royals might be eyeing Fort Belvedere, a magnificent gothic revival mansion situated within Windsor Great Park. Constructed in the 18th century, Fort Belvedere was the preferred royal dwelling of Edward VIII, who resided there both before his ascension to the throne and following his abdication to wed Wallis Simpson. This imposing castle was the location where the former king signed the documents that confirmed his notorious abdication in 1936. The expansive grade II-listed property spans 59 acres and features an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. These features are said to be a huge selling point to Kate and Charlotte, both avid sports enthusiasts. Often referred to as The Fort, this country house also boasts a rose garden, walled garden, separate kitchen garden, large greenhouse, stables, two lakes, paddocks and three cottages for staff. The residence is accessible via a lengthy path and is encircled by a moat. The grand residence was once the site of several cannons from the 1745 Jacobite rising, historically positioned along its battlements. Edward VIII is credited with saving the building, a favourite summer tea house of Queen Victoria, from neglect and introducing opulent amenities. Following his departure, the estate stood mostly vacant until 1956 when Gerald Lascelles, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth, took up residence. Initially a large mansion with 30 to 40 rooms, it's believed he downsized it to just eight bedrooms. The property was later leased in the early 1980s to Canadian retail magnate Galen Weston and his wife Hilary. Under the Westons' tenure, a polo stud was established on the grounds, and they famously entertained Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, and Princess Caroline of Monaco during Hilary's 60th birthday celebrations in an expansive marquee adjacent to the house. Mr Weston, whose fortune was estimated at £5.2 billion, passed away in 2021 at the age of 80, but his family has maintained their residence there, with the property remaining under the ownership of the Crown Estate. A source with insider knowledge disclosed to the Mail on Sunday, "[The Waleses] feel they have outgrown Adelaide Cottage and need somewhere more substantial. This is the perfect new home for them. It has a swimming pool and tennis court, and Charlotte loves playing tennis." It's understood that William and Kate contemplated residing in the unoccupied Fort Belvedere before ultimately choosing Adelaide Cottage. It's believed that they deemed Adelaide Cottage more fitting due to its proximity to Queen Elizabeth, and their desire to provide a more grounded upbringing for their children.

Hugh Cudlipp Lecture: 'Life-saving' project scoops top student award

Dozens of entries were received for this year's Hugh Cudlipp Lecture, and the quality of work was praised by Mirror editor Caroline Waterston - with one 'life-saving' project scooping the top award Aspiring student journalists have been honoured this evening at this year's Hugh Cudlipp Lecture. ‌ Dozens of entries were received and the quality of work was praised by the Mirror 's editor Caroline Waterston. Two commended entries which focused on disabled job hunters and immigration were handed out. Sapphire Hope, who wrote about the difficulties people with disabilities have with finding job's, focused her work on her sister's experience. ‌ The second winners, Paul Wilkinson and Fabienne Dias, focused on immigration through a contributor who arrived on a small boat. Sophie O'Sullivan was highly commended for her documentary on Billingsgate Fish Market. Sharon Browne-Peter scooped the top award and was praised for bringing 'great storytelling to a such an important issue' of living with sickle cell. ‌ Tonight, we have two commended entries: At a time when there is a lot of political focus on disabled people being told to get back to work – our first commended entrant investigated the barriers and hurdles for disabled job hunters, including one disabled man being asked to leave the building. The writer took an issue faced by their own sister, turned it into an investigation and ended up getting it published paywall free by the Financial Times. Congratulations to Sapphire Hope. ‌ Our second commended entrants took on one of the most difficult subjects of the day – immigration – with courage and intelligence. Their investigation included not just voices from the political sphere but the voices of people seeking sanctuary in the UK through a contributor who arrived in a small boat. The result was a carefully balanced and compelling piece of work. Congratulations to Paul Wilkinson & Fabienne Dias who are commended. The Mirror has been a neighbour of Billingsgate Fish Market at Canary Wharf since we moved there in 1994. But the market dates back to 1327 – and now faces closure. This highly commended entrant produced, filmed and edited a documentary – 'The Last Catch' – that beautifully captures not just market life but a way of life under threat, highlighting not just its traditions – but its humour. Congratulations to Sophie O'Sullivan, who is highly commended. ‌ The winning entry's campaign for more Black blood donors to treat sickle cell anaemia blew us away with their passion for their subject and their ability to tell a story. There were several elements across video, social and online journalism, but the documentary – which the entrant created, researched, directed and produced – was especially professional, engaging and moving. The winner brought her own experience of living with sickle cell to the campaign – and wrote about it for CNN's website in a way that was powerful and well-written. This is life-changing, life-saving work combined with great storytelling. Sharon Browne-Peter is our winner. Congratulations.
