For the next year, brothers Zoon and Torro will enjoy plenty of 'pup fun and socialising' as part of their early development before beginning their formal training.

Police Scotland Greater Glasgow announced the cute new recruits on social media.
They said: "PUPPY ALERT.
"It's the newest recruits into Police Scotland -brothers TPD Zoon and TPD Torro.
"The Dutch Herder pups joined the training ranks in the West of the country, where it's a year of pup fun & socialisation before the real hard graft starts!"

Five quad bikes stolen from Aberdeenshire farms
Police are appealing for information following the thefts of five quad bikes from Aberdeenshire farms. The vehicles were taken from sheds along the A97 road between Alford and Aberchirder between last Friday and Sunday. Officers believe a grey Ford Ranger pick-up was used to tow them away on a Scotland said the thefts had severely impacted the local farming community. Man airlifted to hospital after Peterhead harbour incident
A 30-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after being injured at Peterhead incident happened in the Keith Inch area of the port shortly after 10: Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said it sent three appliances and a heavy rescue unit to the Scotland said the incident would be referred to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The condition of the injured man is not known.

Man rushed to hospital after air ambulance lands near Scots harbour
Police were seen rushing the air ambulance crew to the scene. A man has been rushed to hospital following an incident near a Scots harbour. Crews were dispatched to Keith Inch in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, at around 10.10am on Tuesday, August 19 following a report of an injured 30-year-old. An air ambulance was seen landing nearby, before a police van raced the helicopter crew to the scene, at the easternmost point of mainland Scotland. He was taken to hospital for treatment. The matter is due to be referred to the Health and Safety Executive. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: Around 10.10am on Tuesday, 19 August 2025, we received a report of a man injured at a premises at Keith Inch, Peterhead. "A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. The matter will be referred to the Health and Safety Executive." Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
