The legendary all-rounder from Bangladesh had figures fo 5/121 but it was in vain as England managed to take the win by an innings and 80 runs.
Shakib Al Hasan (BAN)
The England Test captain went on to finish with figures of 5/72 in 24 overs in the fourth match against India at Old Trafford.
Ben Stokes (ENG)
Stokes managed to get key wickets like Sai Sudharsan after his fifty, alongside the lower middle-order to get the five-wicket haul.
His last five-wicket haul came in the Lord's Test against the West Indies in 2017.
The England captain is revelling in the responsibilities given to himself with the ball and looks in top form as well.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — The owner of Inter Miami called Major League Soccer's suspension of Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba for skipping the All-Star Game a 'draconian' punishment. Messi and Alba did not suit up for the match between the MLS and Liga MX of Mexico despite being voted to the game. Messi did not play to rest amid a packed schedule and Alba was dealing with a previous injury. Mas said the club made the decision for Messi and Alba to sit out of the All-Star Game. Per MLS rules, any player who doesn't participate in the All-Star Game without prior approval from the league is ineligible to compete in their club's next match. The players will miss Miami's home match Saturday against FC Cincinnati, which sits atop the Eastern Conference standings. Both Messi and Alba practiced with the club on Friday in anticipation of playing in Saturday's match before MLS announced the suspension. 'I know Lionel Messi loves this league,' said MLS Commissioner Don Garber. "I don't think there's a player — or anyone — who has done more for Major League Soccer than Messi. I fully understand, respect, and admire his commitment to Inter Miami, and I respect his decision. 'Unfortunately, we have a long-standing policy regarding participation in the All-Star Game, and we had to enforce it. It was a very difficult decision.' Garber added that the league will re-evaluate the policy and work with players to "determine how the rule should evolve.' Mas said Inter Miami expressed its disagreement over the suspension and the rule. Mas also noted there were six MLS games Friday night less than 48 hours after an All-Star Game. Purdue calls leaked playbook allegation against ex-Memphis player 'mischaracterized'
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — The Purdue Boilermakers believe the alleged leaking of a playbook from defensive back Tahj Ra-El, a former Memphis player, to UTSA quarterback Owen McCown has been 'mischaracterized.' HT Image Ra-El left Memphis in the middle of last season and has since transferred to Purdue where coach Barry Odom is in his first season. 'Our coaching staff sees this scenario as being mischaracterized and does not have any concerns moving forward,' the athletic department said in a statement given to The Associated Press on Friday. The controversy erupted last week when On3 published screenshots of an alleged conversation between the former high school teammates from Charlotte, North Carolina. 'Far left is coverages. i'll send you better list showing you the call,' the screenshot showed Ra-El wrote. 'But they run qtrs none of they safeties can cover btw (sic).' Ra-El also reportedly told McCown that starting safety Kourtlan Marsh had an injured hamstring. Marsh didn't play in the game, which UTSA won 44-36 after scoring 30 consecutive points to erase a 24-14 halftime deficit. During the American Conference media days, UTSA coach Jeff Traylor said the information had 'no bearing whatsoever' on the outcome of that game even though he said he had not heard about the allegations until last week. 'The stuff he sent him didn't make any sense, so he didn't tell me,' Traylor said. 'He was just being nice to his buddy. It got blown out of context in my opinion.' McCown threw for 3,424 yards and 25 touchdowns with 10 interceptions in 13 games last season, his first as the Roadrunners starter. They finished 7-6 and beat Coastal Carolina in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. Jets to have officials at camp to reduce penalties, says coach Aaron Glenn
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets hope seeing more black-and-white stripes in training camp will result in fewer yellow flags during the season. HT Image Coach Aaron Glenn said Friday the team will often have officials at practice through the summer after the Jets, under the previous regime of coach Robert Saleh, led the NFL in penalties the last two seasons. New York rarely used officials during training camp practices last summer. Many NFL teams hire officials for at least some of their camp practices, giving players the opportunity to get used to how plays are called in a non-game environment. 'I want the officials here as much as possible and they know that,' Glenn said. "It's no secret that we were the most-penalized team in the league last year, so that's one of the things that I want to nip in the bud early — making sure that the discipline part of what we do, that we fix that now. 'You cannot win games in this league with an undisciplined team, so all the penalties that we had last year, we're knocking those things out.' Last season, the Jets were penalized 137 times, five more than Tennessee and Baltimore, and finished 5-12 — with Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas both fired in the middle of the season. In 2023, New York was called for 124 penalties, nine more than Cleveland and Dallas, and went 7-10. 'The officials are going to be here and we're going to knock that out, all right,' Glenn said. 'I will tell you this: We are going to knock these penalties out. We're going to understand that undisciplined teams do not win games.' Philadelphia, last year's Super Bowl champion, ranked 11th in the NFL with 103 penalties. Kansas City, the AFC champion, was fourth with 94. The Los Angeles Rams, who won the NFC West, had the fewest penalties in the league with 91. Glenn said there are two types of calls on players during games: pre-snap penalties — 'the dumb penalties' — and competitive penalties, including pass interference. 'The competitive penalties, listen, you go back and forth with those, right?' Glenn said. 'Like P.I., guys are fighting. Those are competitive penalties. Holds, those are competitive.
