Lisa Mishra Calls Meeting Pharrell Williams A ‘Surreal' Moment: 'He's Shaped So Much...'
Lisa Mishra meets Pharrell Williams at a private dinner, calling the moment "surreal" and a creative milestone in her journey as a global musician and actor.
Musician and actor Lisa Mishra recently had what she calls one of the most unforgettable experiences of her year—an exclusive encounter with global music and fashion icon Pharrell Williams. The two met at an invite-only dinner held at an intimate private event, and the moment left a lasting impression on the multi-talented artist.
Known for her soulful voice, genre-defying music, and rising presence in both Bollywood and the global indie scene, Lisa was visibly thrilled to meet Pharrell, who currently serves as the Creative Director of Louis Vuitton. Sharing the moment on her social media, she referred to the meeting as 'surreal" and a highlight of her journey so far.
'Meeting Pharrell was surreal," Lisa said. 'I've looked up to him for years—not just as a musician, but as a visionary who constantly pushes creative boundaries. To have a moment with someone whose art has shaped so much of mine was truly special."
Pharrell, whose influence spans decades and industries—from producing chart-topping hits to reinventing luxury menswear—has long been a source of inspiration for Lisa. As a young Indian-American artist making waves with her unique blend of pop, R&B, and Indian musical influences, this brief yet powerful meeting symbolized a full-circle moment in her artistic evolution.
Lisa is currently riding high on the success of her recent single Teri Hoon and her acting role in the hit web series The Royals. She also made headlines earlier this year after performing live with Ed Sheeran during his India tour—an achievement that cemented her growing global presence.
With both Pharrell and Lisa celebrated for their boundary-pushing creativity, this meeting felt less like a chance encounter and more like a nod to the global crossover that defines today's most exciting artists.
As Lisa continues to chart her own path in music and film, moments like these serve as milestones—not just of success, but of recognition, inspiration, and shared artistic vision.
