Fans Think Blake Lively Was ‘Deliberately' Cut from Selena Gomez Party
birthday party is no small affair, and it seems that this year's festivities have also kick-started a rumor that claims was deliberately cut out from the party. This was allegedly after things between her and deteriorated during the It Ends With Us legal battle. Now, fans wonder if Swift and Lively's feud is indeed the reason behind the latter being absent from the party. So, was Lively indeed not a part of Gomez's recent celebrations due to her fallout with the pop icon? Here's everything to know. Did Selena Gomez cut off Blake Lively 'deliberately' from her party? The 'Calm Down' singer had a huge party for her 33rd birthday, but the actress was not a part of the celebrations. According to Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop, this move was not an oversight. Rather, it was deliberate, and the root cause behind this was Blake Lively's fallout with Taylor Swift. The problems between the two go back to the Another Simple Favor star's ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni. Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, filed a $400 million countersuit against the It Ends With Us director. At that time, the 'Blank Space' singer was allegedly one of Lively's celebrity friends whom she tried to use as leverage in the lawsuit. So, without Swift's involvement in Baldoni's case in any way, she still got embroiled in the legal battle unwillingly. Recent reports also claimed that Taylor Swift has been ignoring The Age of Adaline actress' attempts for reconciliation. (via Marie Claire) Hence, it all aligns with the timing of Selena Gomez's party. This has made fans think that Blake Lively and Swift's fallout may indeed be at the center of the former being cut off from the latter's inner circle. However, these are still speculations, as none of the parties involved has commented on this. Even if they were to address the same, it is unlikely that this reason would be stated in public. Southwest Airlines flight takes dramatic plunge in response to nearby aircraft
A Southwest Airlines jet heading to Las Vegas from Southern California took a dramatic plunge shortly after take off in response to an alert about a nearby plane, sending some passengers flying out of their seats and injuring two flight attendants. The plane suddenly jolted shortly after takeover on Friday then felt like it was falling, said Stef Zamorano, who was flying to Las Vegas with her husband to celebrate his birthday. In front of her, Ms Zamorano said she saw a woman who was 'not wearing her seatbelt shoot up and out of her seat'. The man seated next to her was clutching her arm, and she said the woman across the aisle was panicking. 'She was pretty much verbalising how we all felt, saying, 'I want to get off this plane. I want to be on the ground,'' Ms Zamorano told The Associated Press. Data from the flight tracking site FlightAware shows it dropped roughly 300 feet (91.44 metres) in 36 seconds. The Federal Aviation Administration said the flight, Southwest 1496, was responding to an onboard alert about another aircraft in its vicinity. The FAA is investigating. Southwest said the crew responded to two alerts that required the pilot to climb then descend. The flight departed from Hollywood Burbank Airport just before noon. Still in shock, Ms Zamorano said she could hardly make out what the pilot was saying when he later addressed the passengers. Another passenger, American comedian Jimmy Dore, posted on X that the pilot mentioned a near miss. 'Pilot said his collision warning went off & he needed to avoid plane coming at us,' Dore posted. The plane was in the same airspace near Burbank as a Hawker Hunter Mk 58 just after noon local time, FlightAware shows. A Hawker Hunter is a British fighter plane. Records show it is owned by Hawker Hunter Aviation, a British defence contracting company. The company did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment. Mike Christensen, an airport spokesman for Hollywood Burbank, said that neither the control tower nor the operations department, which tracks planes departing and arriving, have any record of the Southwest flight plunging in their airspace. Southwest said the flight continued to Las Vegas, 'where it landed uneventfully'. The airline said that it is working with the FAA 'to further understand the circumstances' of the event. The close call is the latest incident to raise questions about aviation safety in the wake of January's mid-air collision over Washington DC, that killed 67 people.

GloRilla continues Yo Gotti tradition with Glo Bash: What's planned for Memphis concert?
In what is expected to be the concert event of the summer in Memphis, hometown hip-hop hero GloRilla will headline a show at FedExForum on July 25. The rap star is hosting the first Glo Bash, a mid-summer concert at the Downtown venue, which will take place just ahead of the rapper's 26th birthday on July 28. GloRilla — who is signed to Memphis rap veteran Yo Gotti's CMG label — looks to create her own tradition in the spirit of Yo Gotti's famous Birthday Bash concerts, held between 2013 and 2022. Here's what you should know ahead of Glo Bash. GloRilla's momentum continues After a breakout year in 2024, GloRilla continued to see her star shine in 2025. In January, GloRilla made her debut as part of the 50th anniversary season of NBC late-night comedy show 'Saturday Night Live.' In addition to performing a pair of songs on the show, Glo made a guest appearance in the show's final filmed sketch alongside host Dave Chappelle. A couple weeks later, GloRilla attended to the 67th annual Grammy awards in Los Angeles where she was nominated in two categories — but unfortunately lost out for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for her track "Yeah Glo!" (which has been certified a two-times platinum hit by the Recording Industry Association of America). In March, GloRilla headlined her first national tour, playing some 20 dates across the country, as well as making high-profile appearances at the Coachella Music Festival in California. Then in June, GloRilla — who was born Gloria Hallelujah Woods — had a shocking triumph, winning the Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the BET Awards. She was recognized for her gospel music collaboration with Kirk Franklin, Maverick City Music and Kierra Sheard on the track 'Rain Down on Me.' Also in June, she scored a huge international hit, as part of a collaboration with BTS member J-Hope. The South Korean boy band superstar's latest solo track, 'Killin' It Girl,' features a guest verse from GloRilla. The song quickly became a bona fide hit on the global charts — 'Killin' It Girl ' debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Global Excl. U.S. and No. 3 on the Global 200 — with 55.1 million streams and 43,000 copies sold worldwide. On the U.S. charts, the song made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 in its first week of release, cracking the top 40. Continuing a Memphis hip-hop tradition GLORILLA IN MEMPHIS: GloRilla makes surprise appearance at Memphis high school, donates $25,000 for media center Announced in April, the first of what looks to be an annual Glo Bash concert certainly fills a void in Bluff City hip-hop. In a sense, Glo will be picking up the torch from her label head and mentor Yo Gotti, who staged a series of star-studded summer birthday concerts over a decade, moving the shows from the Orpheum to FedExForum in that time. The last Yo Gotti Birthday Bash concert came in 2022, as Gotti shifted focus from performing to running his entertainment empire. With the inaugural Glo Bash, that sense of summertime excitement returns with what's expected to be a triumphant celebration not just of GloRilla, but of CMG's continuing success, and an ongoing Memphis rap renaissance that has seen the city and its artists reaching a new peak of mainstream popularity. GloRilla's labelmates, collaborators and guest stars As with the old Yo Gotti Birthday Bash concerts, GloRilla will be topping a lineup that's expected to feature several other artists, including some of her CMG labelmates, as well previously announced and surprise guests — hence the "GloRilla & Friends" billing for the show. So far, in addition to Glo, two acts have been formally announced for the Glo Bash: Sexxy Red and BossMan Dlow. St. Louis rapper Sexxy Red teamed up with GloRilla on 2024's "Whatchu Kno About Me,' which was a platinum-selling Top 20 pop hit and reached No. 3 on the Billboard rap charts. Florida trap rapper BossMan Dlow is another hit GloRilla collaborator. The pair worked together on 2023's 'Finesse,' which became a Top 40 hit on its way to gold certification. Over the course of her career, GloRilla has worked with everyone from Megan Thee Stallion to Cardi B to Tyler, The Creator, so there could be a chance — however small — that some big names could turn up for the concert. Are tickets still available for GloRilla's Glo Bash in Memphis? As of this writing, there are still plenty of tickets available for the first Glo Bash, with prices starting at $77 and going up to $400-plus. A quick scan of the available options shows that the cheapest seats — those that range from $77 to $96 — will put you in the upper level 200 section of FedExForum. Tickets in the $200 to $300 price range will put you in the lower bowl sections of the 100 level of the arena. Meanwhile, a relative handful of floor seats remain priced between $290 to $347, depending on your proximity to the stage. The best seats, tagged as Platinum level tickets, can be found in the front section, about 10 rows back of the stage. Those will cost $454. As always, ticket availability is fluid and Memphis is, historically, a heavily late-buying market. Still, fans would be well advised to purchase sooner rather than later, as the show is expected to sell out.
