And the former builder is clearly engrossed in the current series of the show, and shares his thoughts on the scenes and Islanders on his socials.
In a recent update, Josh disagreed with something Shakira said, while she was sitting on the stairs with Harry.
The 22-year-old from Burnley insinuated that she wouldn't even be able to go to supermarket Aldi after the show, hinting towards her newfound fame.
And Josh was quick to tell fans: 'She can't say that.'
Speaking to his camera, the star said: 'Shakira has not just said 'I wonder what life is going to be like after, I can't even go to Aldi.'
'It's not the fact that of shopping at Aldi because I actually don't mind that - I've shopped there a few times.
'But it's the fact that she thinks that she's going to be famous. You can't say that, the fact that you think you're going to be mega famous.'
Looking unimpressed, Josh covered his head with a blanket while saying: 'Oh God.'
He went on: 'That is f***** up, that. Wow.'
It's been nothing short of a turbulent week for Shakira on Love Island, and The Sun revealed that she threatened to quit the show as a result.
She had a meltdown in the beach hut after ending her blossoming relationship with Conor over fears she'd never get over Harry.
The Sun can reveal Shakira was so upset by the situation, she went to seek support from the 24/7 duty of care team and asked to leave.
Bosses were able to help her through the turmoil over a number of hours and she made the decision to stay.
The meltdown happened after she ended things with the Irish rugby lad.
A source said: 'Shakira has been through the wringer and was already at breaking point over her heartbreak by Harry.
'When Harry made it exclusive with Helena, everything unravelled and she realised she wasn't ready to be with Conor properly.
'She did the brave thing by ending that, but then the floodgates opened and she just didn't want to be in the villa anymore.
'She went to the beach hut and asked to leave the villa.
'The duty of care team were able to help her through her emotions and she decided to stay.'

EastEnders star Ricky Champ's wife Sammy was rushed to hospital as she was left unable to speak and with swollen eyes just hours before they were due to go on family holiday. Sammy shares two children with the actor, who played Stuart Highway in the iconic soap from 2018 to 2022, and has been suffering from an ongoing health issue. And with just hours before she was supposed to meet her acting husband at Disney, she was left with swollen eyes and was forced to get medical help. In a Story shared to Instagram, Sammy shared a snap of her sore-looking eyes and her swollen lips as her skin broke out into hives. Alongside the post, she penned: 'What is the absolute one thing you don't need to happen the day before you fly to Disney when you need to go shopping/ pack/clean/do that's right, wake up with your lips so swollen you can't speak and eyes swollen shut so you're in A&E at 7am. 'One of the side effects of my gallstones and liver is severe hives all over my body every single morning that go away by bedtime then I wake up and it starts all over again. 'Something due to the toxins etc (still not considered urgent though, still been told need to wait a year + for an op).' After seeking medical advice, Sammy revealed her face had returned to normal and was no longer swollen ahead of their trip to France. Ricky was one of five cast members to be written out of EastEnders in 2022. Stuart was at the centre of a father's post-natal depression storyline, with the character struggling to bond with his baby Roland. He had struggled with his mental health after his diagnosis with breast cancer and he is having trouble adjusting to parenthood after he and wife Rainie (Tanya Franks) tried for a child for a long time. Ricky first set foot in Albert Square back in 2018 and has landed a spell of intense storylines, including confessing to accidentally killing DI Steve Thompson (Philip Wright) - who later turned out be alive. He also admitted to being a vigilante paedophile hunter which stemmed from being sexually abused as a child. The actor's additional ventures include his role as Paul Parker in the BBC Three sitcom Him & Her and a Games Of Thrones appearance as Gatins. I think he's somewhere in the North Circular living with Rainie,' he said of his character.

'Scott's got the gift of the gab, and he walks into every room like he owns it. He's confident, cheeky, and knows exactly what he brings to the table.' With Gia and Scott paired together, MAFS producers are bracing for fireworks from the very first episode. 'Neither of them is here to play it safe,' a production insider added. 'You've got two big characters who both like to be in control - so expect chaos, tears, passion and plenty of headline-making moments.'
