CrashPlan Integration with Microsoft 365 Backup Storage Offers Enterprise-Grade Disaster Recovery

Business Wire24-06-2025
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CrashPlan, a leader in cyber-ready data resilience and governance, today announced its integration with Microsoft 365 Backup Storage, enabling enterprises to rapidly restore large amounts of data with 10-minute recovery points and speeds of up to two terabytes (TB) per hour at scale while maintaining control over their data through a single, unified platform.
More than two-thirds of organizations are targeted by ransomware. CrashPlan's integration Microsoft 365 Backup Storage is designed to protect industries with high-value, compliance-sensitive data that require stringent Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO). Without proper backup and recovery capabilities, businesses face operational, legal, and financial consequences from data loss events.
"When enterprises face large-scale data loss, every minute counts. Downtime due to incidents, whether cyber related or other unforeseen circumstances, isn't just disruptive—it's a direct threat to revenue, compliance, and reputation. The CrashPlan Microsoft 365 Backup Storage integration transforms recovery from hours or days into minutes, without adding operational burden,' said Dan Beer, CEO of CrashPlan.
Microsoft 365 Backup Storage enables high-performance, full asset restores across Microsoft Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint—optimized for use cases like ransomware attacks where rapid recovery of entire workloads is required. Rather than managing separate interfaces or tools, enterprise IT teams can now operate within the CrashPlan platform to orchestrate both large-scale restores via Microsoft 365 Backup Storage and granular restores and search via CrashPlan's existing Microsoft 365 capabilities. Together, these functions support a layered, risk-aware data protection model.
Key benefits include:
Accelerate Recovery at Scale – Restore full Microsoft 365 assets for selected users at up to 2TB per hour—reducing time to recover from ransomware or any data loss event.
One Console, Full Coverage – No need for disparate tools; you can manage everyday data protection and disaster recovery through the CrashPlan console your team already uses.
Enterprise Security & Governance – Compliance is baked in, with integrated support for SSO, role-based access control, encryption in transit and at rest, and policy-based user management.
Microsoft-Trusted Recovery Infrastructure – Built directly on the native Microsoft 365 Backup Storage architecture, this integration leverages infrastructure trusted by the world's largest organizations to ensure enterprise-grade performance.
CrashPlan's SaaS solution is hosted in Microsoft Azure and not only secures Microsoft 365 environments, but also enhances user and admin workflows with built-in capabilities such as self-service recovery, legal hold and granular search across Microsoft 365, endpoint, and server data.
'CrashPlan is committed to delivering cost effective, secure, and scalable data protection across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem,' said Randy De Meno, VP Business Development & Microsoft Practice at CrashPlan. 'Our platform is built for speed, flexibility, and simplicity—so businesses can stay focused on growth, not recovery. Organizations using Microsoft 365 can leverage CrashPlan knowing they have a modern SaaS solution using the latest Microsoft infrastructure to best protect and manage their data.'
As a preferred Microsoft vendor, CrashPlan complements the shared responsibility model by extending data protection beyond the standard 30–90-day retention periods. This new integration represents a deepening of this collaboration, using Microsoft's trusted infrastructure to deliver rapid disaster recovery capabilities for the world's largest organizations.
'With this integration, CrashPlan has taken a major step in helping our joint customers promptly recover operations after cyber incidents. We look forward to continuing to work together with them to enhance the resilience of customer data,' said Microsoft's Brad Gussin, Principal Group Product Manager, Microsoft 365 Backup.

Trade Republic Launches Its Dutch Banking Offering, Challenging Local Banks With a Free Current Account With a Dutch IBAN and 2% Interest Uncapped on All Cash Deposits

AMSTERDAM--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Three years after its launch in the Netherlands, Trade Republic has established itself as an important part in the financial lives of 200,000 Dutch customers. With the new current account, customers can send money to anyone, add or withdraw funds from other banks instantly, and earn 2 percent interest on their cash. Both new and existing customers benefit from the ECB rate of 2 percent on their entire cash balance. The current account completes Trade Republics card offering with the unique Saveback feature, earning a 1 percent Saveback reward for every card payment back into their savings plan. As Europe's largest savings platform – with more than 8 million customers and over 100 billion euro in assets under management – Trade Republic once again reinforces its commitment to making banking and long-term wealth building simpler and more affordable for all Europeans. Trade Republic now provides everything Dutch customers need to make the most of their money. '3 years after launching in the Netherlands, we're proud to serve 200,000 customers. With our Dutch branch, our attractive saving and investing products come with all local benefits, making it the best offering for your money on the market,' says Christian Hecker, Co-Founder of Trade Republic. 'With our free current accounts featuring Dutch IBANs, the ECB interest rate of 2 percent uncapped on all cash balances, free savings plans and automated taxes, we're empowering a new generation of Dutch savers to put their money in their own hands.' Dutch household savings reached a new record in December 2024, surpassing 600 billion euro. Ipsos I&O research commissioned by Trade Republic however shows that 59 percent of Dutch savers are unhappy with the interest offered by their banks. In April 2025 the average interest rate on current accounts was only 0,11 percent. Trade Republic is proud to offer Dutch customers the most transparent and fair interest rate on the market: the full ECB rate, currently 2 percent, on their entire current account balance for both new and existing customer. 'To build long term wealth, low cost investing is essential,' says Erik Mauritz, Senior Advisor Netherlands at Trade Republic. 'With a flat fee of 1 euro per trade and free savings plans for stocks and ETFs, we're already helping 200,000 Dutch customers save as efficiently as possible. Beyond investing, our interest offering has been a major success in the Netherlands. By passing the full ECB rate to our customers, we enable them to earn a return on their cash, even when it's not invested. We are now taking it a step further by removing the previous 50,000 euro limit and offering the full ECB rate on unlimited cash deposits.' The interest is calculated daily, paid monthly, and applies to both new and existing customers. Trade Republic does not charge subscription fees for holding an account. Funds can be withdrawn at any time and are held with partner banks such as Credit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, and HSBC, and are protected by the European Deposit Guarantee Scheme up to 100,000 euro. The combination of Trade Republic's banking products, including a current account with 2 percent interest, Dutch IBANs and automated tax returns, provides users with a complete financial ecosystem to optimize their money. With the added benefit of 1 percent Saveback on card payments, automatically reinvested into their savings plans, users have an additional opportunity to grow their wealth. This approach allows users to manage their finances efficiently, from everyday banking to long-term wealth building, all through a secure and easy to use platform. DocuSign's IAM: Automating Agreements, Redefining Enterprise

DocuSign DOCU is redefining agreement management with its Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform, an AI-driven solution that has quickly become the fastest-growing new product in the company's history. Positioned well beyond the scope of traditional e-signature tools, IAM represents a strategic evolution in how businesses manage the lifecycle of agreements. A key strength of the IAM platform lies in its robust integration with enterprise leaders such as Microsoft MSFT and Salesforce PYPL. These partnerships are not merely symbolic; they are deeply embedded within the company's vision of enabling seamless, intelligent workflows across the tools organizations already rely on. Whether a user is drafting a contract within Microsoft Word or managing customer relationships in Salesforce's CRM, IAM ensures documents move efficiently and securely through automated processes. The Microsoft integration enables professionals to initiate, track, and manage agreements directly from Microsoft 365 applications, thereby eliminating workflow disruptions and enhancing operational efficiency. Similarly, the Salesforce integration enables sales, legal and procurement teams to collaborate effortlessly within the CRM environment, improving visibility and reducing turnaround time for agreements. These integrations strengthen customer dependency, effectively anchoring the IAM platform within the core infrastructure of large enterprises. This strategic alignment not only increases the platform's reach but also significantly improves user retention. IAM underscores DocuSign's broader transition into a comprehensive digital agreement platform, designed to support every stage of the contract lifecycle, from creation and negotiation to execution and analysis. With AI-driven insights, the platform enhances decision-making, speeds up workflows and reinforces compliance and accuracy. By embedding itself within widely used enterprise ecosystems, DocuSign is building a level of stickiness that's hard to displace. This strategic positioning makes IAM not just a useful tool but a mission-critical component of digital transformation initiatives. As more organizations embrace automation and intelligent workflows, DocuSign's IAM, driven by advanced integrations and AI, is emerging as a cornerstone of the future-forward enterprise.
