Okay so, everybody knows Sizzler. The steakhouse has been around since 1959, literally revolutionising the way we eat steaks. But, they didn't stop there. They've decided to one up themselves by giving birth to a new baby by the name of Sonic Diner, and we're already obsessed.

Nestled away inside Cairo Festival City, the new concept is basically Sizzler but it casual. Think of it as the diner version of its mother restaurant but with more homey meals that get prepared really, really fast – hence the name Sonic.
How Sonic Diner looks like from the outside
Although the menu feels very similar to Sizzler's, there are standouts that stops Sonic from living under Sizzler's shadow. Not only does it offer breakfast (think of all the classic dishes), something Sizzler doesn't offer, it also serves fried chicken, pasta and pizza. We're talking an entire menu for each category so you can live your best life.

"Sonic 4" Lands March 2027 Release Date
'Sonic the Hedgehog 4' is sprinting to theaters on March 19, 2027. The fourth installment in Paramount's family-friendly franchise is currently the only title on that date. Paramount announced the fourquel in the Sega video game-inspired franchise even before the third 'Sonic' adventure hit the big screen. The decision that turned out to be prescient given that 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3,' which debuted in December, is officially the property's highest-grossing entry with $218 million domestically and $422 million globally to date. 'Sonic 3″ builds on the commercial success of its predecessors; the original 2020 'Sonic the Hedgehog' became a surprise winner, earning $148 million domestically and $319 million globally and setting a then-record for the highest-grossing video game adaptation in North America. And the 2022 sequel 'Sonic the Hedgehog 2″ was bigger than the first, powering to $190 million domestically and $405 million globally. Earlier in January, the 'Sonic' franchise collectively surpassed $1 billion in box office receipts worldwide. Paramount reported that 'Sonic' has driven over $180 million in global consumer spending from home entertainment rentals and digital purchases. There's also the Paramount+ spinoff television series 'Knuckles,' which premiered in 2024. Jeff Fowler has directed all three 'Sonic' films, with Ben Schwartz providing the voice of the blue, anthropomorphic speedster with a knack for busting bad guys. Jim Carrey plays the hedgehog's main antagonist Dr. Robotnik, while Idris Elba and Colleen O'Shaughnessey voice Sonic's pals Knuckles and Tails. In the third live-action/ CGI hybrid adventure, Keanu Reeves voices the mysterious Shadow the Hedgehog while Carrey does double duty as Dr. Robotnik's grandfather, Gerald.

"Sonic the Hedgehog 3" Sets Digital, 4K Ultra HD, & Blu-ray Release Dates
One of 2024's most popular movies is still playing in theaters, "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" has finally set a Blu-ray, Digital, and DVD release date. The threequel is set to be released on digital on January 12 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on April 15. "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, Jim Carrey as the villainous Dr. Ivo Robotnik, and his long-lost grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, in a dual role. The live-action cast from the previous two movies is also comprised of James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski, and Lee Majdoub as Agent Stone. Moreover, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, who voices Miles 'Tails' Prower, and Idris Elba, who voices Knuckles the Echidna, are also back. 'Sonic the Hedgehog' premiered in theaters in February 2020, and its sequel was released in April 2022. The films earned over $724 million combined at the global box office. Jeff Fowler, who directed the first two films, returned for the third entry. The threequel picks up after the events of" Sonic the Hedgehog 2" and sees Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails face a new threat in the form of the hugely popular anti-hero Shadow the Hedgehog, who has been locked away for 50 years and is out for vengeance against those who have caused him harm and distress. This leads Team Sonic to do the unthinkable and buddy up with their arch-nemesis, Dr. Robotnik.
