For those familiar with Walt Disney World Resort, the new area will be added to Frontierland to the right of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Disney announced that it will be the "largest expansion in the history of Magic Kingdom."
Inside will be a visitor lodge, Ranger HQ, trails and, of course, there will be new attractions added to the land too.
One will allow visitors to race through the mountains on wild terrain, avoiding geysers and mud holes.
The creative team is also developing new race car personalities for the attraction.
Each vehicle on the ride will have its own name and number, similar to real-life race cars.
In order to develop the new land, Disney is set to close Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Liberty Square Riverboat beginning July 7, 2025.
On the Disney Parks blog which explained more about the park, it detailed: 'From the outside, trees will provide a natural barrier between the off-road rally and other parts of Frontierland and Liberty Square.
"Rugged mountains with dramatic peaks will be nestled along a calming waterway across from Grizzly Hall and soaring geysers from the famed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will stretch into the trails of our off-road rally.'
Plans also reveal there are lots of water elements in the park, including a waterfall.

It will have more than 900 hotel rooms and Disney Vacation Club villas.

Disneyland Paris has unveiled new plans for a massive expansion to the beloved park that will be themed to a beloved franchise. Permits for a new area and ride dedicated to The Lion King have reportedly been approved this week. And the news has left thrilled Disney enthusiasts eagerly awaiting for the construction to start. Digital renderings and plans for the upcoming Lion King expansion at Disneyland Paris, which has been given the name Project Sun, have been shared on several Disney blogs. Rendered images show the new land, which includes an attraction, shop, and food vendors. As per DLP Works - which touts itself the 'premier source of Disneyland Paris' - construction permits for were submitted on April 14, and were approved by the authorities on August 14, 2025. According to blueprints shared by the site, the Parisian park's upcoming Lion King-themed land will occupy most of the left side of Adventure Bay, measuring roughly 100,000-square-feet in total. It's the first time any Disney park in the world has opened an area dedicated to the much-loved Disney film. As per Disneyland Paris News, the new ride will center around the 'majestic Pride Rock,' a pivotal part of the 1994 animated classic. The ride will serve as the 'gateway' to an 'adventure-filled water attraction.' '[The ride will] plunge guests beneath the rock to follow Simba on his journey from cub to king, in a retelling of the story from the classic animated feature film,' the blog wrote. The Disney experts continued: 'When visiting this first-ever themed area, guests will be immersed in the world of The Lion King thanks to Disney character greetings, themed dining, and shopping opportunities, which promises an unforgettable experience for guests of all ages.' The Daily Mail previously reported that the all-new attraction will blend a spectacular water experience with state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics technology, making guests feel like they're in the heart of the Pride Lands, where Simba will await them for an unforgettable adventure complete with iconic songs from the 1994 masterpiece. Guests can then move to the caves beneath the 121-foot-high Pride Rock, taking them through iconic scenes from the beloved animated movie, navigating a path with three exciting slopes, including an impressive 52-foot-high descent. 'We are looking forward to launching the construction of this new immersive world inspired by The Lion King and its major attraction, which will mark another milestone for Disney Adventure World,' Michel Den Dulk, Vice President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering, previously said. 'The main attraction will showcase the key features of Disney experiences: loveable characters, an unforgettable soundtrack, immersive décor and effects, and exciting thrills thoughtfully delivered throughout the adventure.' Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, added: 'All of the Imagineers who work on this project have their hearts set on paying a vibrant homage to this timeless masterpiece by creating unforgettable memories for all our guests. 'As part of the 2 billion Euro investment plan announced in 2018, we continue to reinvent this park with a fresh creative vision. 'At the end of its expansion journey – which includes the opening of Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, and World of Frozen in 2026, and later an immersive world themed to The Lion King – we'll have reimagined more than 90 percent of the park's offerings since its debut in 2002, and roughly doubled its footprint to truly become a can't-miss experience!' In addition to Lion King, Disneyland Paris is also opening another immersive world next year - The World of Frozen, which will transform guests to the Kingdom of Arendelle and get the chance to meet Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. Disney recently unveiled images showing the finishing touches being made to the area's North Mountain, rising 118-feet above the ground.

Disney+ confirms free streaming date for 'Marvel's best movie in years' - and it's not Fantastic Four
Marvel fans say this comic book blockbuster is their best movie in years and soon you'll be able to stream it at no extra cost Disney+ will shortly be streaming one of this year's finest comic book films at no additional cost. The movie is presently available to rent or purchase at home, though you'll still need to fork out up to £13.99 on platforms like Apple TV, Prime Video and Sky Store. Fortunately, Disney+ subscribers won't have to wait much longer before they can stream the film whenever they fancy without paying anything beyond their monthly subscription. Comic book enthusiasts have hailed it as one of Marvel Studios' finest blockbusters in years - and, no, it's not the recently released The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Rather, we're discussing Thunderbolts*, which is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Wednesday, 27th August, reports the Mirror. Featuring Florence Pugh, David Harbour and Sebastian Stan, the movie follows an unlikely squad of heroes and villains from throughout the Marvel universe who reluctantly join forces to defend Earth from a perilous and unpredictable new menace. Pugh reprises her role as Yelena Belova, the new Black Widow, an elite mercenary who is battling to discover her place in the world when the mysterious Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (portrayed by Julia Louis-Dreyfus) assigns her with a crucial but dubious new assignment. After a spell of disappointment for the superhero franchise, both commercially and critically, Marvel enthusiasts were delightfully surprised when Thunderbolts* exploded onto cinema screens back in April. One five-star Google review branded the film an "absolute gem of the superhero genre". "If you're looking for a fresh, high-octane adventure with a unique twist, Thunderbolts is exactly what you've been waiting for," they went on to promise. "This story is a masterclass in reimagining the traditional superhero team-up, featuring a lineup of antiheroes, former villains, and morally ambiguous characters who are forced to work together for a common cause." Someone else enthused: "Thunderbolts* was an incredible surprise. This movie fixes so many of the problems that recent MCU projects have suffered from. "It actually feels like one director was in charge of this, not a committee of executives. The humour also feels natural, not forced. "Which makes everything better. It doesn't feel like this movie was reworked and reshot a thousand times. The characters are also brilliant. Every actor is doing their absolute best and their chemistry is great." Another devoted fan raved on X: "Had the time of my life with #thunderbolts! One of the best mcu projects in recent years. "The movie does an outstanding job of exploring its themes surrounding mental health. I absolutely love [the] team and their dynamic, I cared so much about all of them. Easy 10/10." And a final viewer confessed: "Shocked how good THUNDERBOLTS* is. Putting emphasis on the character work and practical action makes this feel like the old Marvel that had us for a decade plus. "Wish we'd gotten this sooner. Helps that this dysfunctional team has chemistry too." Thunderbolts* will be available to stream on Disney+ from Wednesday, 27th August.
