
Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed attends Abu Dhabi Summer Sports
Sheikh Mansour met with the organisers and was briefed on the sports programmes and diverse activities featured at Abu Dhabi Summer Sports, which include individual and team sports as well as family- and child-oriented events, offering a comprehensive experience that caters to all segments of society.

He toured the venue's key facilities, which comprise the largest setup of its kind in the region, covering more than 37,000 square metres. The event includes over 52 enclosed and air-conditioned courts and pitches for more than 12 team sports, all built to the highest international standards, in addition to a 1.2-kilometre indoor running track.
Sheikh Mansour also participated in a friendly volleyball match alongside athletes from the community, reflecting his commitment to direct engagement with community initiatives and supporting sports activity during the summer season.
He praised the level of organisation and the event's role in creating an inclusive sports environment that encourages healthy and active lifestyles, especially during summer. He also highlighted the importance of initiatives that enhance quality of life by providing opportunities for people of all ages to practise sports in safe and suitable settings.

Sixth edition of IMMAF Youth World Championships kicks off in Al Ain
22 July 2025 09:51 AL AIN (WAM) Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the sixth edition of the IMMAF Youth World Championships kicked off on Monday at ADNEC Centre Al event, held in the city for the first time, features a record participation of more than 1,000 male and female athletes representing 60 by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and hosted by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation, the championship runs until July 27. The opening day featured high-intensity bouts and a vibrant atmosphere, with strong attendance from spectators and the participation of rising talent from across the the first time since the championship's inception, competitions in the Youth D category, for athletes aged 10 to 11, were held. This milestone reflects the organisers' commitment to broadening participation and supporting the development of young athletes from an early of IMMAF, Kerrith Brown, expressed pride in the ongoing partnership with the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation.
