'The Traitors' Is Coming Back for Season 4: Everything to Know

'The Traitors' Is Coming Back for Season 4: Everything to Know originally appeared on Parade.
Season 3 of The Traitors may have just ended a few months ago, but we're already ready for Season 4! Peacock's Emmy Award-winning reality TV sensation became a surprise success after its winter release back in 2023. But since then it's slowly built up quite the fan base. The US version of the show, hosted by Alan Cumming has been THE water cooler TV show of 2025, becoming streaming's most watched reality competition series yet again.
Season 4 has begun filming but we won't see any Faithfuls or Traitors on our TV screens for quite some time. That doesn't mean we're not thinking ahead though. Will there be a Season 4? When will it air? Who will be in the cast? Will Cumming succeed in casting Martha Stewart or the Spice Girls?
Here's everything we know about The Traitors Season 4.
🎬 🎬
Yes! Cheers to Marcus and Cheers to The Traitors (we promise, it's not weird). On Aug. 14, 2024, ahead of Season 3's release, Peacock announced that the show would be returning for Seasons 4 and 5. The news was far from shocking given how successful the series has been to date, but now Peacock has confirmed a fourth round.
Season 4 of The Traitors hasn't announced its premiere date yet. But all three past seasons of the show have premiered in early January, so we'll likely see Season 4 hitting Peacock in early 2026.
You can watch Seasons 1, 2 and 3 of The Traitors exclusively on Peacock. Season 4 will air there as well?

The rules for Season 4 will likely work similarly to the rules for Season 1-3. A group of contestants (now comprised solely of reality TV celebs unlike Season 1) will enter the Scottish mansion where one group will be designated as "Traitors." The remaining players will be the "Faithful." Each week the Traitors will be given the opportunity to "murder" one of their fellow players, eliminating them from the game. Then at the end of each week, the remaining contestants will vote to "banish" one of the remaining players in hopes of eliminating a Traitor. Along the way, the group will amass a prize pot of cash in challenges. At the end of the game, if the Faithfuls have eliminated all the Traitors, they will split the prize pot, but if a Traitor remains, they will take home the whole pot.
Yes! The Emmy Award-winning host will indeed be returning for Season 4 of the show. He's a producer as well as a host so it would seem unlikely that he'd part ways from the franchise anytime soon.

Peacock announced the cast of Season 4 on June 13, 2025 ahead of the show's filming. The cast includes the following:
Yes. Season 4 of The Traitors will stream on Peacock like Seasons 1-3.
No. Since Season 4 hasn't finished filming yet, there is not a trailer. We likely won't see one until late 2025.
Yes! In August 2024, Peacock renewed The Traitors for an additional two seasons with Alan Cumming attached to host.
Related:
For the first time in The Traitors history, Season 3 ended with four winners. The four Faithfuls all voted to end the game in the first round of the Fire of Truth, which left them splitting the prize pot.
There are currently 3 seasons of The Traitors that have been released, with another two seasons scheduled to arrive in the coming years.

Yes! At the Emmys, The Traitors has scooped up three awards. Not only did it win Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program at the 2023 Emmys (which were passed out in 2024), but Alan Cumming earned an Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program and the show won Outstanding Reality Competition Program at the 2024 Emmys (also passed out in 2024).'The Traitors' Is Coming Back for Season 4: Everything to Know first appeared on Parade on Jun 13, 2025

‘Stranger Things' star Dacre Montgomery shares why he left Hollywood just as his stardom began

Stranger things have happened. Horror hunk Dacre Montgomery has shared why he stepped back from the limelight after finding stardom in Netflix's mega-hit show 'Stranger Things.' 'I think things have changed,' Montgomery said in an interview with The Australian. 'Traditional Hollywood stars existed because there was mystery… Social media has done away with that. That's a large part of why I dropped off the map for the last five years.' 4 Dacre Montgomery stepped back from Hollywood after acting in 'Stranger Things.' Courtesy Netflix The Australian-born actor, who rose to fame playing Billy Hargrove on the 12-time Emmy Award-winning series, wanted to navigate Tinseltown on his terms. 'I'm not trying to compete with anyone else, I'm living my truth — and hopefully being able to pay the rent while I'm doing it,' Montgomery said. Montgomery joined 'Stranger Things' during the show's second season and his character was killed off at the end of the third season, which aired in July 2019. 'I've given a piece of myself to every role I've played and that's largely why I've taken time off,' Dacre added. Montgomery has acted in nearly a dozen projects over the past decade. 4 Montgomery appeared in season 2 and 3 of Netflix's hit horror show. 'Lately, there's been a lot of personal reflection about what I want in my career,' Montgomery added to the Australian. 'I'm trying to gain a bit more control over where and what I'm working on.' The 30-year-old is focused on picking projects that could leave a lasting 'impact' with viewers, according to his recent interview with People Magazine. 4 Montgomery is planning to make his directorial debut with the film 'The Engagement Party.' Penske Media via Getty Images He hoped his new indie thriller, 'Went Up the Hill,' might accomplish his vision of creating work with a long-term presence with some audiences. 'The connective tissue between all the films I'm trying to do at the moment is films that have something really important to say, and 'Went Up the Hill' is divisive,' Montgomery told People. 'It's not a movie that everyone will connect to, but the people that do connect to it, I hope, will find catharsis.' Montgomery added, 'And that's why you make these movies, right? Because it only has to impact one person in the right way to work. And that's really what I'm really trying to mine in my career, is being a part of projects like that.' Singer Responds After Millions Online Call His Band's Song the ‘Worst Ever Made'

Singer Responds After Millions Online Call His Band's Song the 'Worst Ever Made' originally appeared on Parade. Can there be such a thing as "the worst song of all time?" Taste is subjective, and music trends shift over time. But recently, the Internet thought they found what they thought was "the worst song ever made": Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros' "Home." For those going "Who?" right now, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros was a band Alex Ebert formed in 2005. They were part of an indie folk revival that also gave us Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, Of Monsters & Men and other bands you, at first glance, would probably associate with ornate mustaches, knit hats and artisanal IPAs. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros performed on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series in 2009, and a clip of them performing "Home" recently went viral, getting 91 million views on X, with many dubbing it the absolute worst. "We were seized by some kind of faux frontiersman cult for urbanites. Probably the worst cultural era in history," said one user. This discourse prompted Ebert to weigh in on Aug. 7. In a video posted on Instagram, he said that the song's "bones are good," since it's been "covered multiple times" and still works." "' Home' isn't a good recording, it's just a good song," he said in the video. "But it not being a good recording is what I love about 'Home.' It's like a moment. We recorded it on tape, we didn't even know how to record on tape [and] it sounds like it's made in some muffled 'Home' is apparently a good song." In the caption, Ebert also detailed how he played "Home" on a piano for his 90-year-old father on his birthday, and that rendition is his "favorite version of the song." Elsewhere in the video, Ebert claimed that his band was "the first to do the stomp and clap [explicative] folk pop thing to the point where the Lumineers sought out one of the co-producers." He also alleged that Of Monsters & Men mimicked Edward Sharpe's sound. "[They] got so close to 'Home' that we almost sued." Was Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros' 'Home' A Hit? "Home" reached No. 25 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart in 2010. It fared better overseas: it peaked at No. 5 on the U.K. Indie Charts (while reaching 50 on the U.K. Singles chart). In 2020, Edith Wiskers (aka Tm Rosenthal) 's version went viral on TikTok. In 2021, Kelly Clarkson covered it on a "Kellyoke" Responds After Millions Online Call His Band's Song the 'Worst Ever Made' first appeared on Parade on Aug 11, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Aug 11, 2025, where it first appeared.
