KILMACANOGUE HAVE made it two wins from two in this year's Fitzgerald Kitchens Junior 'A' Football Championship after overcoming AGB in Ashford on Sunday.
After a tight first half, four second half goals were enough to see the Sugarloafians prevail convincingly.

Defending champions Tinahely held with Healy to the rescue for Rathnew
Bray People Today at 17:30 A POINT from substitute Sam Healy in the fifth minute of added time rescued a valuable point for Rathnew in an exciting finish to this Boom & Platform Hire Senior Football Championship contest played at Echelon Park, Aughrim, on Friday evening last. Defending champions Tinahely looked to have put themselves into a winning position when Eoin D'Arcy pointed a free three minutes into a five-minute added time period but in a last fling of the dice Adam Byrne placed Sam Healy to shoot the equaliser.

Goals galore as accurate Avondale hit Ballinacor for six
Bray People Today at 15:30 WHAT AN explosive opening 20 minutes we had in this D'Arcy Sand Intermediate Football Championship local derby between Avondale and Ballinacor, played at Echelon Park, Aughrim, on Sunday afternoon last. At that stage the Dales led by 3-4 to 3-1 as we witnessed an absolute goalfest. The half-time score stood at 3-7 to 3-2 and Avondale went on to add a further 3-10 in the second half while Ballinacor scored a further 0-9.
