Ric Flair reveals ‘anxiety' after Hulk Hogan's death: ‘I could be next'
The death has led to introspection for some, including WWE legend Ric Flair, who believed Hogan had 'just got tired' following a number of medical procedures he underwent.
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, died last week after he suffered cardiac arrest at his residence in Clearwater, Florida.

Flair discussed Hogan's passing on Monday during an appearance on 'The Ariel Helwani Show.'
'I had just talked to Jimmy Hart the day before and I didn't actually speak with Hulk, but everything was fine. I knew that he had health issues, but I thought that they were being embellished by that radio disc jockey, [Bubba the Love Sponge]. I talked to Jimmy, I talked to his friend and he seemed to be fine,' Flair said.
'I think he just got tired. I mean, 11 back operations, hip replacements, now a neck surgery. I mean, how much can your body take? We've all put ourselves in a ridiculous position in the business.'

Flair has been dealing with health issues of his own.
He revealed in June that he had skin cancer and Flair, 75, seemed to wrestle with his own mortality during the conversation.

'But here I am, and I'm five years older than Hulk, and I don't hurt at all,' Flair said. 'I've had some serious health issues, but I don't have an ache or pain in my body. It bothers me, and of course, it gives me anxiety that I could be next.'
A 911 call was made regarding Hogan at 9:51 a.m. on Thursday and medics arrived on the scene minutes later.

‘Happy Gilmore 2' And ‘KPop Demon Hunters' Set Simultaneous Netflix Records
Kpop Demon Hunters/Happy Gilmore 2 Netflix executives must be popping champagne right now as they are currently putting out multiple original films breaking multiple records for the service, all the way back since its arrival in 2010. What just happened? Happy Gilmore 2, the long-awaited sequel to the Adam Sandler comedy classic, has just broken the record for the most opening weekend views for a Netflix original in history. That is 46.7 million views in its first three days. And even the original Happy Gilmore racked up 11.4 million views this week as a precursor to that release (it's about to leave Netflix due to licensing). The historical math here is a touch fuzzy. It seems the previous record-holder was Red Notice with 148 million hours viewed, but that's not views total. In terms of actual views that might be…another Adam Sandler movie, Murder Mystery, which had 30.8 million views in three days. Happy Gilmore 2 would be 50% more than that. Second record time! That's KPop Demon Hunters which has set many records already, but it's just hit a new one. KPop Demon Hunters is now the most-watched Netflix animated movie in history. The announcement did not come with specific numbers, and I'm not sure we have enough past data to track its competitors, but Netflix says it snagged the record. Previously, Netflix made the best-reviewed comedy of the decade, The Mitchells Versus the Machines. KPop Demon Hunters has spent six weeks in the top 10, and still did half of Happy Gilmore 2's opening weekend in this sixth week. The previous record that KPop Demon Hunters just set a week ago was a movie that hit its peak viewership five weeks after launch, which has never happened before. Now, it's Netflix's most-watched animated movie ever. As of now, KPop Demon Hunters has not broken into the Top 10 of all-time Netflix original movies in terms of viewership, but it likely will soon. The most recent entry on that list was Carry-On, which went all the way to #2 with 172 million views. Number one is the aforementioned Red Notice with a hard-to-beat 230 million views. It seems likely, if not almost a guarantee, that Happy Gilmore 2 will make its way into that Top 10 list, and may end up near the top by the end of its three month run (which is what's taken into account for the list). It would be the only film there that is a sequel, and a sequel to something that wasn't a Netflix original, no less. I think this is a when, not if situation in terms of its top 10 arrival. It's already close to a third of the way to landing in seventh place or so after just three days, which is deeply impressive. That said, fast-starter Murder Mystery isn't on the list, so we'll see. Fans React To WWE's Greatest SummerSlam Matches List
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Ahead of this weekend's massive two-night SummerSlam event, WWE has officially concluded its countdown of the 25 greatest matches in the history of the show. The iconic Intercontinental Championship match between Bret "The Hitman" Hart and "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith from 1992 has claimed the coveted top spot. The countdown has been playing out on WWE's digital platforms over the past several weeks. The final reveal celebrates a bout that is widely considered to be one of the greatest matches in company history. The Greatest SummerSlam Match Ever The main event of SummerSlam 1992 was a masterclass in storytelling, held in front of over 80,000 passionate fans at London's Wembley Stadium. The match was for the Intercontinental Championship, marking one of the rare times the title headlined a major pay-per-view. The storyline was deeply personal, as it pitted two brothers-in-law against each other, with Bret's sister and Bulldog's wife, Diana Hart, torn between them at ringside. In a legendary performance, Bret Hart carried an exhausted British Bulldog through a 25-minute technical classic, culminating in Bulldog winning the title in his home country in an incredibly emotional moment. Rounding Out The Top Five The rest of the top five is a showcase of legendary encounters from different eras. The number two spot went to the 2016 dream match between John Cena and AJ Styles, a bout that saw Styles score a clean, star-making victory over the face of the company. I'm not entirely sure what my number 1 would be but as I say an iconic match held in the UK which is special. — Daniel(SDMN) (@TheYOLOArtist) July 30, 2025 Is 2002 the only year to have back to back matches on the list? — Markin' Out (@MarkinOut) July 30, 2025 Not mad at it. Good graps — JA (@ReceiptTalk) July 30, 2025 Bret Hart is the greatest in-ring storyteller in wrestling history. It's really not even close. Out of respect, the next two spots should be left empty. — BizarroBabyface (@BizarroBabyface) July 30, 2025 That was storytelling magic. Well deserved. — Mikey! (@MegaMikey81) July 30, 2025 It shouldn't be the greatest match ever... It doesn't worth to be in the no 1 greatest match ever — Enzorealestfan💙🇦🇷 (@IfeoluwaAj11) July 30, 2025 I had a feeling it would be this one. The crowd in Wembley. The family infighting. First time an IC title Main Evented a PPV. I'm still of the opinion Brett vs. Perfect is the better wrestling match, but I can definitely understand the spectacle nature of this match. — Jorge Edwards (@JorgeBEdwards) July 30, 2025 More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports

YouTube loosens profanity rules for monetized videos
YouTube is tweaking its profanity-related rules to allow creators to monetize videos with swearing in them, provided the profanity is contained to the first seven seconds of the video. In November 2022, YouTube changed its rules so that creators who used swear words in the first 8-15 seconds would potentially be ineligible for any ad revenue. After much backlash, the company changed its rules again in March 2023 so that such videos would be eligible for limited ad revenue, unless they use profanity in the majority of the video. Announcing the latest changes, YouTube's head of monetization, Conor Kavanagh, said in a video late on Tuesday that the changes of two years ago were made to align YouTube videos with broadcast standards. 'We introduced this guideline to align with broadcast standards, advertisers expected ads on YouTube to have a distance between profanity and the ad that just served. Those expectations have changed, and advertisers already have the ability to target content to their desired level of profanity,' he said. He noted that if creators use moderate or strong swear words in the title or thumbnail, their videos might have limited monetization.
