Best No. 41 in Steelers history: S Lee Flowers
Lee Flowers is the best Steeler to ever wear No. 41. Drafted with the 151st overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft, Flowers earned the starting safety role in 1998 and went on to record 403 combined tackles and four interceptions during his career. A physical safety who wasn't afraid to lay the boom on opposing offenses, he played in 112 games from 1995 to 2002. Flowers also started in Super Bowl XXX as a Steeler — and remained an underrated contributor to the secondary throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Browns add QB Tyler Huntley
When you have two quarterbacks, you have none. When you have five quarterbacks, you're the Browns. When you have six quarterbacks, you're f—ked. Via Adam Schefter of the Browns have added Pro Bowl (seriously) quarterback Tyler Huntley. The reason is far less dysfunctional than the Browns have been. Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel have hamstring injuries. Sheduer Sanders has a sore shoulder. They need healthy bodies to get through practice. Enter Huntley. Huntley spent four seasons with the Browns, from 2020 through 2023. He spent the 2024 offseason with the Browns. He was released in late August, and he returned to Baltimore's practice squad. The Dolphins signed him to the active roster after Tua Tagovailoa suffered his latest concussion. Huntley started five games in 2024. Huntley is much more than a camp arm. He has 25 regular-season appearances, and 14 regular-season starts. It's somewhat surprising he was available. It's not surprising that the Browns have pounced on yet another quarterback. So, yes, Cleveland now has a six-pack of quarterbacks. And their fans may need a Manhattan.

Browns list Joe Flacco as starter on initial depth chart
The 2023 comeback player of the year is back. The Browns have listed 40-year-old Joe Flacco as the starting quarterback on the first depth chart of the 2025 season, via Adam Schefter of Flacco went from the couch to the huddle for the Browns in 2023, lifting the team to the postseason — and upending Damar Hamlin's clone for the CPOY award. Last year, the Browns passed on Flacco. Which made sense. As a fan favorite, the chants would have come early and often for the veteran, once Deshaun Watson continued to underwhelm. This year, the affinity for Flacco makes him the favorite to start and to play until the Browns are essentially cooked for 2025. Per the initial chart, Kenny Pickett is the QB2, followed by rookie Dillon Gabriel and rookie Shedeur Sanders. Later this month, the Browns will have a significant decision to make. Will they carry four quarterbacks on the 53-man roster? If not, who will be the odd man out?

Shedeur Sanders addressed his father, Deion Sanders', battle with cancer for the first time on Monday when he spoke with reporters at Browns camp. Deion, an NFL legend and the current head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, publicly revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. The younger Sanders didn't go too in-depth discussing his father's health issues, but instead spoke about his mindset of staying focused on his job during Deion's cancer scare. 'Dad, he's one person that he'll handle his. We'll handle what we have to do. Y'all can't sit here and feel sorry for me.'' Deion had announced during a University of Colorado press conference last week that he had his bladder removed after he had been diagnosed with cancer. He's currently battling for the starter job with veteran Joe Flacco, rookie Dillon Gabriel and Kenny Pickett, who is currently injured. Sanders remains the only QB who hasn't taken reps with the first team. 'I don't want him coming to see me right now because I want to get to where I want to go, then for him to see me,' Sanders said. 'I don't want him to come and see me get a couple reps, and he is cheering like a good dad. Like, nah, you can't be proud of me right now. I got to get to where I'm going, and I know it's a lot I got to do to get there.'
