BBC Radio legend exposes huge music icon as the most 'unpleasant' celeb she's ever interviewed
BBC Radio One legend Jo Whiley has revealed the name of the rudest famous person she's ever interviewed in a jaw dropping confession. The 60-year-old veteran broadcaster interviewed countless stars during her time as a radio DJ.
However, speaking to fellow presenter, Zoe Ball, on their Dig it podcast recently, Jo admitted there was one celebrity who shattered her confidence during an interview which left her feeling "stupid". When asked by Zoe if she had ever felt starstruck during an interview, Jo recalled an interview with one of the world's biggest rappers but it was memorable for all the wrong reasons.
Jo told Zoe she was left feeling "so tiny" after interviewing hip hop legend Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, the Mirror reports. She explained: "I remember interviewing Eminem and Dr Dre one time and that was horrible.
"I'd interviewed Eminem when he was very young and he was very shy and polite. He kept calling me "ma'am" all the time and he was really, really sweet and humble.
"Then a couple of years later he came back on the show but with Dr Dre and the fame had happened and he was just this other creature altogether.
"They were just so playful with me - and can I just say they made me feel so tiny and so stupid."
It comes as the radio DJ insisted she is not slowing down any time soon after turning 60 last month and saying that she doesn't think milestone birthdays are a "big deal".
The mum-of-five said that the interview with Eminem was overall "a really unpleasant experience" as she and Zoe chatted about being starstruck by the rich and famous.
Her admission comes after the broadcaster opened up about how she had been struck down by anxiety at the height of her DJing career in the 90s.
She told Woman's Health: "I remember doing one gig and I was just so scared, I thought I can't go on like this. This is ridiculous.
"It's ruining my life because I'm just such a ball of anxiety.
"But then I realised how happy it was making people when I do these gigs and that was a game changer."
Jo, is still one of the most sought after DJs in the industry and insisted her 60th birthday, which she celebrated last month, is just the same as any other.

She told Woman and Home: 'Another birthday really isn't a big deal for me because I don't see age as important.
"It's something that you very much don't want to be a thing, but it becomes a thing because everybody focuses on it and asks you about it constantly.
"It's a bizarre situation to be in because I'm only another year older than I was last year, and a year younger than I will be next year. There's an obsession with reaching certain milestones due to your age. People focus on it too much."

Ibiza Boss Jack Kay could earn six-figure salary this year with smart moves
Jack Kay, also known as the 'Ibiza Final Boss' went viral after footage of him dancing in Ibiza was shared online - and now he could be set to make a fortune from his newfound fame Jack Kay, nicknamed the Ibiza Final Boss, could make a hefty six-figure sum this year - provided he plays his cards right. The 26 year old from Newcastle became an overnight sensation after clips of him dancing on the Spanish party isle went viral on social media. However, it wasn't just his slick dance moves that caught people's eye - his unique bowl cut truly made him stand out from the crowd. Thanks to his newfound fame, he could now be set to earn substantial sums through television appearances and sponsorship deals, the Mirror reports. PR expert Mayah Riaz, of Miyah Media has spoken to the Mirror, stating: "The PR world loves an unexpected viral hero and Ibiza Final Boss, Jack Kay, is delivering in spades. "He's got the holy trinity of viral success: that he's relatable, he popped up at the right time, and he's unintentionally hilarious. The internet seems to love him. And in today's fame economy that kind of organic buzz can absolutely be cashed in on, if he plays it right." Since the clip of him went viral, Jack hasn't just gained attention he's amassed a valuable following of 27,000 followers on Instagram - and climbing. He has also gotten an agent, which will help him with serious earning potential. Mayah says: "We're already seeing brands jumping on his train by using his image, offering him guest list invites, and even offering him holidays." "If his following keeps growing and stays engaged, there's a very real chance of him pulling in £1-2k per post, especially if he leans into party brands, travel, fashion, or those lad-culture meme pages. And he's already back in Ibiza after just one day in the UK. That's likely down to club appearances as Ibiza venues love a viral name on the flyer. These bookings can easily land him £1k-£5k per night, depending on demand." She continues: "He has already announced he's going on tour. So he is aware he needs to cash in on this very quickly. Depending on the format of his tour, it could see him making £40k-£60k from it, as he has seen there must be a demand for it." "Already, some quick-thinkers have begun selling wigs of his infamous haircut. "If he created his own official merchandise, - if he moves fast with it - it could make around £50k on wig sales and around £75k from additional merchandise such as t-shirts, hoodies and mugs," says Mayah. Fans of the viral clip will be thrilled to hear Jack is likely to appear on daytime TV interviews and panel shows, earning £500–£2k a pop, in the coming days, and potentially even reality shows like Big Brother or The Traitors, which could effortlessly net him £10k–£50k for a brief appearance. Mayah explained the world of PR is fuelled by freebies and "influencer swaps", including designer clothing, luxury hotel stays and sponsored trips, which could be worth over £10k. With the world at his fingertips, Jack could potentially rake in a high six-figure income this year, provided he capitalises on his fame swiftly. "Jack's rise is meme-led, and reason that it is working is because people aren't laughing at him, they're laughing with him," says Mayah. "He's got the everyman charm nailed: a regular lad from Newcastle, enjoying his moment. That kind of relatability is gold dust in PR. If I could offer Jack one piece of advice, it's to remember that viral fame burns hot and fast. If he wants to turn this 15-second clip into a six-figure year (and he absolutely can), he needs to start thinking long-term. Build the personal brand, get a solid PR strategy behind him and bring in a manager who can say 'no' to the right things.' Meanwhile, 23 year old Alisha Cook, a debt collector from Durham, has stepped forward claiming to be Jack's girlfriend. In a series of TikToks captioned: "POV: ya boyfriend's now known as Ibiza Final Boss," Alisha is seen getting cosy with Jack, featuring clips of him kissing her cheek and the pair partying together. The video has since been set to private, but fans had plenty to say in the comments, with one person quipping: "At least you know he didn't cheat - he's been filmed from every angle on TikTok just having a ball."

She explained: "Someone had smashed the front window of my car, that's never happened to me before." Initially left "frozen" by the upsetting find, Zoe used a festival poncho in the car to cover the damaged window. She then blasted the Radio 2 country show at ear-splitting volume as she carefully drove the 64 miles home to Brighton. Zoe was relieved nothing of value was taken, though she admitted: "I got in and I had a massive cry." "It was good, I love a big blub. The ones where you wake up in the morning and your face is a bit swollen and you're like, 'Well, I'm glad I got that out'." She partly blamed herself for the theft, having left her bag on display. She explained: "Do you know what I did? I did a stupid thing, I was so busy running into The One Show with my suits and my bag and everything. "And we were going to do a picture with our Spotify picture, which was amazing, and I left a bag on the front seat. Big no, no in London, idiot. Luckily, nothing in it except my diary." In solidarity, Jo then shared how she had a phone pinched from her hand in a street mugging. Emmerdale teases 'more drama' ahead as Charity and Vanessa give into passion
Emmerdale has teased the fallout to Charity Dingle and ex Vanessa Woodfield's shock kiss on Thursday night, teasing their 'old spark was burning bright' on the ITV soap There was a tease of an Emmerdale reunion for Vanity, as Charity Dingle and Vanessa Woodfield shared a kiss on the ITV soap on Thursday night. But what happens next, and do the pair get back together? Viewers won't know until Friday's episode what happens after the pair gave into passion, years on from their split. But the soap has teased "more drama" will definitely be on the way, while remaining coy over what they mean and what it is linked to. It seems to be linked to Charity and Vanessa as it was revealed in a press release linked to the kiss on Thursday. It comes as Charity finds out she's pregnant next week, amid her agreeing to be a surrogate for her granddaughter Sarah Sugden. When Charity feared the embryo hadn't taken after experiencing bleeding this week, after the transfer procedure recently, she confided in Vanessa. Feeling that she couldn't be around her husband Mackenzie Boyd or Sarah, she hit the bottle and ended up at Vanessa's home. As they opened up, Vanessa tried her best to comfort a distraught Charity who was blaming herself. As Vanessa sat down beside her on the sofa, Charity refused to leave after she suggested helping her home. Charity told her she wasn't ready to go home, and didn't want to be around her household so Vanessa said she could stay. But when she offered to make up a bed for her, Charity made her intentions clear. Declining the offer of the spare room, or Tracy's room in tis case, she said she wouldn't go in there unless Vanessa stayed with her "to keep her company". Vanessa was taken aback but before she could say anything Charity leaned in and kissed her. Vanessa appeared to kiss her back, with the soap teasing "it looked as if their old spark was still burning bright". The episode ended there before we could see what happened next and how Vanessa responded. But a teaser for the fallout released by the soap in a press release read: "Stay watching as more drama is set to unfold." So what is this in reference to, and could there be more Vanity drama on the way? With Charity featuring in more scenes next week, spoilers have not suggested a split for her and Mack or anymore scenes with Vanessa. But with it being so top secret, perhaps spoilers have been left out on purpose. Fans will just have to wait and see where the kiss leads.
