Etihad Airways is now giving away over 20 million miles
Good – because Etihad is throwing down the gauntlet with The Extraordinary Challenge and there are now over 20 million Etihad Guest Miles up for grabs.
Originally launched with a cool five million miles for the first person to visit 15 of Etihad's new destinations, the challenge has exploded in popularity – so much so that the airline has upped the ante with 12.5 million extra miles and more ways to win.
Here's the lowdown:
Be one of the first 100 people to visit five new cities? You get 25,000 miles.
Tick off 10 new destinations? That's 100,000 miles in your account.
Make it to all 15 destinations before anyone else and you could be walking away with a jaw-dropping 5 million Etihad Guest Miles. Second place snags 3 million and third takes home 1 million. Not too shabby.
The challenge is live now and open to both new and existing Etihad Guest members. Over 50,000 travellers have already signed up and the competition is heating up fast.
You'll earn miles just by flying – and you can track your ranking on a live dashboard, which doubles as a social media-friendly passport of your journey.
Eligible cities include cool and far-flung spots like Phnom Penh, Krabi, Addis Ababa, Prague, Taipei and Sochi.
Here is the full list:
Addis Ababa Algiers Atlanta Chiang Mai Hanoi Hong Kong Krabi Medan (Sumatra) Peshawar Phnom Penh Prague Sochi Taipei Tunis Warsaw
Good luck.
