Gavin Newsom
among its users has come to India following a launch in its home market, the United States.

Our innovative reputation engine allows users to moderate and influence discourse by rating posts, encouraging meaningful, curated engagement and discouraging disruptive bursts of disrespectful behaviour," he added.

Sez Us said it has also developed a blockchain-powered single sign-on experience in an effort to empower users with full ownership of their digital identity and the freedom to navigate freely and easily across social platforms. Built in partnership with Project Liberty and the Frequency Network Foundation, the collaboration is a 'major advancement' towards an open, interoperable social web, the company said in a statement. Through this integration, Sez Us users can create a self-sovereign digital identity, giving them control over their reputation, followers and content across participating platforms.

"We believe user content is rightfully theirs, and they are not packaged and sold for profit on our platform. Our economic model is fair and equitable for everybody," said Gupta. "We don't have an algorithm that creates virality. The impact of fake, toxic social media content on Indian society is profound. We believe Sez Us is taking a monumental step towards addressing these issues, and in building healthy, transparent engagement that empowers members by returning their digital self-sovereignty," he added. Gupta said the platform has just come out of the alpha and beta stage in the US, and is being fully rolled out in the US as well as India.
Backed by investors such as general Wesley Clark and former US house minority leader Dick Gephardt, as part of a focus on India, Sez Us is currently running internships with Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai and has plans to use a 'significant' part of its growth capital to build groups and communities across India where clusters of interest groups – such as sports, entertainment, politics and general interest – will attract content creators and users specific to the Indian market. 'Our vision is to create healthy and fair social media, therefore we will present new business opportunities to India's vibrant content creator communities. We invite content creators to Sez US now to build a thriving environment that empowers all members and help design the next generation economic model," Gupta added.

Nitish announces special packages for investors
Patna: CM Nitish Kumar on Saturday announced a four-point economic package aimed at encouraging entrepreneurs to set up industries in Bihar. Alongside this industrial push, he reiterated his govt's target of providing jobs and work opportunities to one crore young people through govt recruitment, private sector employment and self-employment initiatives over the next five years. The economic package, he said, would specifically benefit investors willing to establish industrial units in the state, supplemented by a range of existing incentives. The announcement was made on the CM's social media handle. Detailing the package, Nitish said, "The four-pronged economic package includes capital subsidy, interest subsidy and the doubling of the incentive money payable under the goods and services tax (GST). The arrangements would be made to provide land to the investors in every district, and the land would be given free of cost to them who will give more jobs." "If there is any dispute on the land allotted for establishing an industrial unit, it would be resolved. All these facilities would be given to those who establish industrial units in the next six months. The govt has been incentivising those interested in establishing industrial units, or deciding to work on self-employment, by providing them various kinds of facilities. Now, the govt will give a special economic package to entrepreneurs to open and establish industries in the state," he added. Explaining the larger objective, the CM said, "The aim of the govt behind making these initiatives is to promote setting up of more industries in the state and to see that youths acquire skills to become self-dependent and also get jobs for their better future." The announcement came a day after his Independence Day address at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, where he had reaffirmed his government's decision — already approved by the cabinet — to provide jobs and work opportunities to one crore youths between 2025 and 2030.
