From Ika Nabella To Caprice: Local Celebs Weigh In On Exes Cik Epal & Jofliam's Recent Relationship Drama
Exes Cik Epal and Jofliam have been publicly clashing in recent weeks. Both have frequently posted updates about their divorce settlement, arguments, and accusations against one another. The mother of two recently claimed that her ex-husband's new wife scratched her face and prevented her from collecting her belongings from the house she had shared with Jofliam during their marriage.
The businesswoman also alleged that her ex-husband had denied her access to their children, claiming he feared she might run away with them. With the ongoing drama playing out on their respective social media pages, some local celebrities have voiced their frustration and expressed disappointment over the former couple's behaviour.
Ika Nabella
Singer Ika Nabella took to Threads to urge Cik Epal and Jofliam to resolve their dispute privately and peacefully. She directed most of her criticism at the latter, alleging that he had failed to fulfil his responsibilities, while also calling out his new wife for further escalating the situation. 'Aren't you embarrassed that your kids are watching all this? As for your wife, the whole of Malaysia knows you're a homewrecker. Why make this worse for yourself? Show some class for once,' wrote the former Akademi Fantasia contestant.
The artist expressed hope that the former couple would be able to reach an agreement without compromising their children's mental well-being. 'A toxic environment at home can really mess with children's minds. There is no need for anyone to get physical. This drama will only teach your kids the wrong things about love, trust, and how to handle problems,' she added.
Da'i Wan
Celebrity preacher Da'i Wan penned a lengthy open letter to Cik Epal and Jofliam on Instagram, urging the two parents to end their public dispute. 'Please settle this in private. Don't be the cause of slander, and don't commit any more sinful acts that you'll be punished for in the afterlife. Please, this has to stop,' he wrote. The public figure advised the former couple to take a step back from social media and move on before the situation escalates further.
'Where is the love that once existed? Today, your hearts are clouded by revenge and anger. Know that the devil is destroying you without your realisation. The devil applauds when he sees your relationship falling apart because of these dark emotions,' he added.
Caprice
You can always count on Caprice to weigh in whenever something goes viral. The rapper once invited the influencer mother to appear as a guest on his podcast and has previously shared his thoughts on her situation with ex-husband Jofliam. Following the latest drama, the musician urged the former couple to stop airing their disputes online.
'To [Jofliam], just return her belongings. You can afford to buy new ones. Not one of these items will follow you to the grave. I'm just concerned for the kids and how they're going to be affected by all this. When parents fight, the children are the real victims,' he said in his video.
All these celebs made very valid points. We hope that Cik Epal and Jofliam could settle this offline for the sake of their 2 children. Watch the business owner's latest video of the recent incident below:

#SHOWBIZ: Malaysian actor Zhang Yaodong seen manning seafood stall in Singapore
SINGAPORE: Singapore-based Malaysian actor Zhang Yaodong was seen running a steamed seafood stall at 9007 Kopitiam, a coffee shop in the Tampines industrial area, on June 4. The Straits Times reported that the 47-year-old was observed at the cash register, taking customer orders. A user on Xiaohongshu said that the stall belongs to Zhang, and he was working that day because his employee had resigned. The user noted the former Mediacorp artiste's politeness, affirming Zhang in her post by saying there is "nothing better than correcting one's behaviour after making a mistake." The bachelor's public image suffered a blow in July 2024 when rumours circulated about him fathering children out of wedlock with women of various nationalities. However, in November 2024, Zhang used Instagram to mark a holiday to South Korea with his two daughters, confirming his fatherhood for the first time. In February of this year, Mediacorp's talent management agency, The Celebrity Agency, announced it was no longer representing him and that he had not participated in the filming of any new programmes. Zhang, whose parents were formerly hawkers, is reported to have previously managed a catering business and opened a roast meat stall in a food court. He also ventured into Taiwanese cuisine, selling beef noodles in his hometown of Kuala Lumpur.

Jay and his wife, Hannah Quinlivan (昆凌), recently visited Kyoto for work. While the couple were there, they took the opportunity to do some sightseeing. Joining the pair are Jay Chou's staff members and Japanese singer-actor Tomohisa Yamashita (山下 智久), who is a good friend of the Taiwanese singer. Together, the group went around the city, visiting popular tourist spots, including local temples and shrines. Given the popularity of the Mandopop and J-pop icons, a crowd will begin to form wherever the two go. Some fans even started following the stars and mobbing them as they walked down the streets of Kyoto. Unfortunately, the mobbing got so intense that Jay's makeup artist tripped and broke his leg.
