What is Sundar Pichai's net worth? How rich is Google CEO and where does he stand among tech billionaires? Know salary, stock and Income

Google CEO Sundar Pichai becomes billionaire, wealth increases because of his current net worth is… Sundar Pichai, the quiet and humble CEO of Google and Alphabet, has now joined a very elite group of the billionaire's club! In 2024, Pichai earned about USD 10.73 million in total. This includes his salary, bonuses, stock rewards, and other company perks. While this is much less than the huge USD 226 million stock grant he received in 2022, it still keeps his yearly income strong. What is Sundar Pichai's net worth in 2025? As of July 2025, Sundar Pichai's net worth is estimated to be around USD 1.1 billion, according to Bloomberg's Billionaires Index. Pichai became the CEO of Google in August 2015, and in December 2019, he also took over as the CEO of Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company. So, it took him almost 10 years of leading one of the world's biggest tech companies to reach billionaire status. How does he own that much? Pichai owns about 0.02 per cent of Alphabet, which is worth around USD 440 million today. Over the years, he also sold Alphabet shares worth about USD 650 million. If he had kept all those shares, they could have been worth over USD 1 billion more by now. How much did Sundar Pichai earn in 2024? In 2024, Sundar Pichai earned USD 10.73 million, which was a rise from USD 8.8 million in 2023. The drop from his massive 2022 pay was expected, as he did not receive the special stock grant that only comes every three years. Base Salary: USD 2 million Stock awards, bonuses, and perks: Made up the rest of his total USD 10.73 million pay Security Expenses: Alphabet spent USD 8.27 million on his personal protection, mostly due to his frequent global travel. This was 22 per cent more than last year. In 2022, Pichai received a huge USD 226 million stock grant, which Alphabet gives once every three years. So, his 2024 pay looks smaller in comparison. Where does Sundar Pichai rank among the world's richest? In 2024, some top tech CEOs made significantly more than Sundar Pichai. For example: Apple's Tim Cook earned around USD 74.6 million Netflix's co-CEOs took home over USD 60 million each Adobe's CEO earned USD 52.4 million In comparison, Pichai's total pay of USD 10.7 million seems modest. But because of his Alphabet stock holdings, he officially became a billionaire.
