Bachar Mar-Khalifé to Perform at Lebanon's Oakenhouse April 24th

French-Lebanese maestro Bachar Mar-Khalifé is set to take the stage at Lebanon's Oakenhouse in Byblos with an intimate live performance on April 24th.
A free-spirited singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Bachar Mar-Khalifé is one of the most renowned talents of the region's contemporary music scene, whose music effortlessly weaves classical, traditional, jazz, electronic and rock influences. His versatile artistry earned him the Sacem Grand Prix des Musiques du Monde in 2021. He has also done several collaborative projects, taking on work with the Orchestra National de France and the Ensemble Intercontemporian, as well as scoring several films, including 'Sous le Ciel d'Alice', which won the Michel Legrand Prize in 2022.
Oakenhouse is a platform launched by Lebanon's eco-conscious music festival, dedicated to amplifying regional musicians, providing both emerging and established artists with a safe space to create, connect, grow and gain international recognition – all while immersing themselves in Lebanon's cultural heritage. The show is part of Oakenhouse's 'Support the Artist' series in collaboration with Beirut's Tunefork Studios, which aims to keep the music culture alive in Lebanon and celebrate the talents shaping the region's music scene today.

"Faat El Maad" Will Premiere Earlier Than Expected
Yara Sameh Egyptian stars Asma Abulyazeid and Ahmed Magdy's upcoming TV series "Faat El Maad" is coming a day earlier than planned. Now, instead of premiering on Saturday, June 14, the series will launch the day prior on Friday, June 13 on the "Watch It" streaming platform. The drama consists of 30 episodes and marks the second collaboration between the pair after the 2019 TV series "El Anesa Farah". "Faat El Maad" is set to debut on the "DMC" satellite TV channel at 08:00 PM on Saturday, June 14. Abulyazeid, born on July 10, 1990, has liked acting since young, but could not act in her school because there was no school theater, something that became available in college where she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts. She participated in a large number of theatrical performances that were displayed at the Hanager Theater and competed for the Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Award for Best Theater Show in 2016. In 2017, Abulyazeid drew attention through her performance as Toka in the TV series "Hadha Almasa" (This Evening). Her TV credits also include "Al Nas" (2024), "Touba" (2022), "Al Ekhteyar 2: Regal El Zel" (2021), Hogan" (2019), "Zodiac" (2019), "Layali Eugenie" (2018), and "'Ana shahira ... 'ana alkhayin" (2017). Abulyazeid is also known for her roles in films such as "El Daawa Ammah" (2022), "Laylat Amar 14"(2022), "Mousa" (2021), "30 March" (2021), "El Kowayeseen" (2018), and "Hadha almasa'" (2017). Dua Lipa Confirms Engagement to Callum Turner, Says She's "Obsessed" with the Ring
Yara Sameh Dua Lipa has confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner, saying it's "a really special feeling. Lipa, 29, Turner, 35, have been together for almost a year and a half. Thr actor is best known for roles in "Fantastic Beasts", and "Masters of the Air", and was Bafta nominated in 2020 for BBC One's "The Capture". "Yeah, we're engaged," she told British Vogue . "It's very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever - it's a really special feeling,". She added that her engagement ring was made after Turner consulted her best friends and her sister. 'I'm obsessed with it. It's so me," Lipa noted. "It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.' For now, the couple haven't started wedding planning just yet, just savoring the moment and enjoying their engagement. 'I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period," the singer said. "I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I'm like: 'Oh, what would I wear?' '. It wasn't until the "One Love" singer got engaged herself that she "really understood the weight of it." 'This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever – it's a really special feeling," she said. Lipa and Turner sparked romance rumors in January 2024 when they were first spotted together at the Masters of Air afterparty following its London premiere. Turner, who stars in the Apple TV+ drama series, was captured in a video slow dancing with Lipa. Since then, the couple has maintained a low profile but have still been seen with one another on various occasions, including dinner and industry events. The two made their relationship Instagram official in July 2024 after the Grammy winner snuck in two sweet pics with her beau in a carousel from the 2024 Glastonbury Festival, where she performed. In one image, Turner was seen kissing the singer's head with his arm around her shoulders, while another showed the couple engaged in a lively chat while laying on the ground. Lipa and Turner rang in the new year with a celebratory kiss, a photo of which was included in an Instagram carousel posted by the singer. "Danced our way into the new year!!! HELLO 2025!!!!," Lipa captioned. "Only took me a couple days to resurrect blaaaady ellllll but here we areeee." On Christmas Eve, Lipa ignited speculation over whether or not the couple had gotten engaged after she shared photos of herself on Instagram wearing a diamond ring on her lefthand ring finger. While posting photos at Paris Fashion Week on January 28, the pop star hid her left hand underneath her dramatic cape. Lipa didn't completely conceal her ring, however, as her gold band was caught when she removed her cape and posed for cameras outside the show, and was spotted in one of the photos she shared on Instagram . Lipa has continued to post photos of her rocking the ring in loved-up posts with Turner and has been seen wearing it onstage in Europe while performing her Radical Optimism Tour. "Mamlakat Al Harir" Gets Trailer and Premiere Date
Yara Sameh The official trailer and premiere date for Egyptian actor Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz's highly anticipated war fantasy series "Mamlakat Al Harir" have finally been unveiled. The cast also includes Asma Abulyazeid, Ahmed Ghazy, Amr Abdel Gelil, Mahmoud Gharib, Sara El Tounsi, Walid Fawaz, Mahmoud Albezzawy, and more. Written and directed by Peter Mimi, "Mamlakat Al Harir" follows two estranged brothers who fall into a fierce struggle to retrieve the throne of the Mamlakat Al Harir after their father is killed by their uncle.
