Packers sign WR Will Sheppard, K Mark McNamee
Sheppard is a rookie who played 55 games at Vanderbilt (2020-23) and Colorado (2024). He finished with 200 receptions for 2,688 yards (13.4 avg.) and 27 touchdowns.
Sheppard also returned 18 punts for 131 yards (7.3 avg.).
McNamee, also a rookie, joins the Packers as part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program.
The Ireland native comes to Green Bay after spending the last month with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League.
McNamee participated in the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine.
He was a goalkeeper in Gaelic football for Ballyboden St Endas in Dublin, Ireland.

Sean Payton: Dre Greenlaw plays like Mike Tyson
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw made the most of the first day in pads at Broncos training camp. Greenlaw filled gaps and delivered hits throughout team drills in Denver and head coach Sean Payton said you didn't even have to be watching to know that Greenlaw was the one landing blows. Payton said "you can hear it" when Greenlaw makes a hit and then went on to compare his style to another knockout artist from a different sport. "He plays like Mike Tyson," Payton said, via the team's website. "He's tough, he's physical. He's built that way. There's not a lot of leaky yardage. Some guys [allow that]. He's a knock-back tackler. They stop where he hits them. There's an intensity to how he plays. He's one of those players that if you put the film on and didn't say anything, at some point early, you'd ask, 'Who is this guy?'" Greenlaw was limited to two games for the 49ers last year because of injuries and a quad injury interrupted his first offseason in Denver, so one key for the Broncos will be making sure Greenlaw's healthy enough to deploy that physicality on a regular basis. If he is, facing an already tough Broncos defense will be even less enjoyable for opposing offenses in 2025.

Seth Halvorsen earns 11th save for Rockies in 2025
Colorado (28-78) opened a three-game road series at Cleveland (52-54) on Monday. The Rockies won the series opener, 8-6, at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Former Tennessee pitcher Seth Halvorsen earned his 11th save in 2025 for Colorado. He pitched one inning and recorded one strikeout, while allowing two walks, one hit and one run (one earned) against five batters. Halvorsen totaled 27 pitches, including 13 strikes. Two strikes were on a first pitch. Former Vol Jordan Beck started in left field for the Rockies at Cleveland. He went 2-for-4 and recorded one walk. Halvorsen and Beck were teammates at Tennessee in 2022. The Vols won SEC Tournament and regular-season championships during the 2022 season. Game No. 2 between Cleveland and Colorado is slated for 6:40 p.m. EDT on Tuesday. Wednesday's series finale is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. EDT. The Rockies will return home, Friday-Sunday, for a three-game series against Pittsburgh at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
