Jersey cruise to eight-wicket win over Guernsey
Jersey showed their intentions from the opening delivery when Lucas Barker was caught by Charlie Brennan at square leg off Julius Sumerauer for a first-ball duck. Barker's fellow opener Ben Fitchet was bowled for nought by Richardson in the next over to league Guernsey on 4-2. Matt Stokes and Martin Dale Bradley put on 31 for the next wicket before Stokes was bowled by Richardson for 13 to leave Guernsey on 33-3 off 5.5 overs.Richardson dismissed Guernsey skipper Ollie Nightingale for a single two overs later before Bradley fell victim to Sumerauer for 28 to leave the Sarnians on 49-5 off 13 overs.Tom Nightingale and Ben Ferbrache steadied the Guernsey innings with a 43-run sixth-wicket stand before Richardson bowled Nightingale for 23. Ferbrache went on to make 29 off 64 balls before Harrison Carlyon trapped him lbw to leave Guernsey on 118-5 with 16 overs to go.Ninth man in Luke Bichard showed some resistance with a 39-ball 29 that included the only six of the innings, but Guernsey were bowled out for 150 off 43 overs. Jersey - who had beaten Guernsey in their T20 inter-insulars and in the T20 World Cup qualifiers - were in no mood to hang around as they put Guernsey's bowlers to the sword.Opener Nick Greenwood went for 20 after Adam Martel trapped him lbw, but Carlyon and Glamorgan star Asa Tribe came together to put on 108 for the second wicket in 19 overs.Carlyon hit 12 fours and two sixes in his 80-ball knock before he was caught by Tom Nightingale off Charlie Forshaw's bowling. Tribe went on to score an unbeaten 41 off 52 balls as Jersey kept their unbeaten run over Guernsey going for another year - Guernsey have not beaten Jersey over 50 overs since 2015.

Nat Sciver-Brunt helps Trent Rockets to first Hundred win
Trent Rockets Women claimed their first victory of The Hundred in emphatic fashion against previously unbeaten London Spirit. England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt led the Rockets to 149 for six with an unbeaten half-century, and they bowled out the reigning champions for 116 with five balls remaining to claim a 33-run win. Openers Bryony Smith and Natasha Wraith set the tone for the visitors at Lord's with a partnership of 62 for the opening wicket – Smith scoring 42 from 23 balls. Both fell to Eva Gray, who then went on to dismiss Heather Graham and Emma Jones in successive balls, but Sciver-Brunt remained at the crease and finished her innings unbeaten on 51 from 29 balls. 'Great to get one over Notts' - Foxes' Trevaskis
Leicestershire all-rounder Liam Trevaskis says it was "great to get one over" Nottinghamshire after Wednesday's comprehensive 124-run One-Day Cup victory over their local 26-year-old spinner claimed his first five-wicket haul in white-ball cricket as Notts were dismissed for 209 with 12 overs of their innings still remaining at Kibworth."I can feel the rivalry build as I've got to play against them - they want to beat us, we want to beat them [so] it was great to get one over them," Trevaskis told BBC Radio Leicestershire."I've had a couple of four-fers over the last couple of years so I'm happy to get that one ticked off."The last couple of weeks haven't gone as well as I'd have liked, but credit goes to our lads for putting a good score on the board. With runs on the board it's always a lot easier as a spinner."Describing the Kibworth pitch as producing "tennis ball bounce", left-arm off-spinner Trevaskis also praised team-mate and former Notts batsman Sol Budinger, who smashed 102 off 80 balls as the Foxes posted an imposing 333-8."It's amazing, he keeps scoring runs, the ground really suits him well," Trevaskis said of the Foxes opener."It's great to see him getting runs and he puts bums on seats.
