From Taylor Swift to Bianca Censori: Ye's years of controversies
Ye, formerly Kanye West, is no stranger to controversy, from crashing Taylor Swift's MTV speech to his high-profile relationships.
"Donda 2" from Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has officially arrived on streaming services amid fan backlash about his latest behavior.
The current version of "Donda 2," named after his late mom Donda West, appears under the artist name Donda – not Ye – and features 18 songs.
In January 2022, Ye announced in a since-deleted Instagram post that "Donda 2" would arrive that February. The follow-up to his 2021 album, which eventually arrived in August after one of the most unique rollouts in music history, was produced by Atlanta rapper Future. The producer also appears on the album.
At the time, Ye added on Instagram that the release would only be available on his $200 Stem Player platform. Now, the album is available on mainstream streaming services such as Apple, Amazon, Tidal and Spotify. Many of the songs on the 2025 version are on the original version.

In Ye's January 2022 post, he offered no other information about "Donda 2," but the accompanying image featured his childhood home in flames.
Despite Ye's past and current behavior, a star-studded roster of fellow rappers appear on "Donda 2." Louisville, Kentucky, hitmaker Jack Harlow is featured on the song "Louie Bag" and Canadian rapper Sean Leon is a guest on "SCIFI."
The song "SCIFI" features a spoken-word intro from ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who dropped the rapper's last name West after the beauty mogul and "Kardashians" reality star filed for divorce on Feb. 19, 2021.
"I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he's the richest Black man in America. A talented, legit genius who gave me four talented, incredible kids," Kardashian said in the song's intro.
The streaming platform release comes amid fan concerns about Ye's behavior.
At the Grammys on Feb. 2, Ye's 33-year-old wife Bianca Censori shocked press and fellow guests when she removed a black fur coat to reveal a see-through dress. From a quick glance, Censori could have easily been mistaken as completely nude.
Later in February, he took to X in a tirade against Jews in a series of posts (before temporarily deleting his account) and, in an ad, he directed Super Bowl viewers to his website (now down) where the only item he was selling was a $20 T-shirt featuring a swastika.
Last month, the controversial Grammy-winning rapper seemingly released a new collaboration with the embattled hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs in a since-deleted post on X, according to People magazine and Billboard.
The track, titled "Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine," also featured vocals from Ye's daughter North West, Combs' son Christian "King" Combs and Yeezy artist Jasmine Williams. The song was released as Diddy is set to stand trial for federal sex-crimes on May 5. Earlier this month, he released a track "Cousins" which included incestuous themes.

Chris Pratt shows off drastic transformation for 'The Terminal List' season 2

Chris Pratt gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at his dramatic transformation for "The Terminal List" season two, sharing a video from set on Friday. The actor appeared nearly unrecognizable with long hair, a full beard and a thick mustache, all part of a detailed prosthetic look for his character. "Isn't this hair and makeup incredible?" Pratt said in the video posted to Instagram. "My team does such an awesome job." Pratt, who plays Navy SEAL James Reece in the Amazon Prime Video series, explained the facial hair is fake, but realistic enough to cause issues during lunch breaks. "The crazy thing about wearing a fake mustache or a fake beard is when you eat, you get hair in your mouth," he said, joking about not knowing where the hair came from. "No. Anyways. I don't care. I'm hungry," he added before eating. Season two of "The Terminal List" is based on "True Believer," the second novel in Jack Carr's book series. The action drama follows a Navy SEAL navigating trauma and conspiracy after a mission goes wrong. Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch and Riley Keough return as part of the ensemble cast. Pratt's on-set update came days after he paid tribute to "Parks and Recreation" co-star Jonathan Joss, who was shot and killed on June 1. "Damn. RIP Jonathan. Always such a kind dude," Pratt wrote in a post shared to Instagram Stories.

Christian Rock Band Newsboys React to Former Lead Singer Michael Tait's Sexual Assault Allegations: 'Heartbroken and Angry'

Christian rock group Newsboys released a statement following allegations of sexual assault against former lead singer Michael Tait An investigation by The Roys Report was made public a day prior that included claims against Tait of alleged sexual assaults that took place between 2004 and 2014 "While Michael has not addressed these allegations, we are devastated even by the implications," the band saidChristian rockers Newsboys are speaking out after allegations of sexual assault were made against the group's former lead singer, Michael Tait. On Thursday, June 5, the band shared a note on Instagram, one day after an investigation by The Roys Report was made public that included claims against Tait of alleged sexual assaults that took place between 2004 and 2014. "Last night our hearts were shattered when we read the news alleging drug abuse and inappropriate sexual actions by our former lead singer, Michael Tait," read the statement, which was shared by the band's current lineup of Jeff Frankenstein, Jody Davis, Duncan Phillips and Adam Agee. "While Michael has not addressed these allegations, we are devastated even by the implications," the group continued. "The four of us are husbands and fathers. Between the four of us, we have fourteen children. Our wives and children have made many sacrifices while we have dedicated our lives to playing music together that glorifies God." They added, "We are horrified, heartbroken, and angry at this report and in many ways, we feel as if we and our families have been deceived for the last fifteen years." Before departing the band in January, Tait "confessed to us and our management" that he 'had been living a double-life," the band members then wrote, adding that they "never imagined that it could be this bad." Tait, formerly of the group DC Talk, has not publicly responded to the sexual assault allegations. The musician did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Saturday, June 7. The Roys Report — the Christian media outlet behind the two-and-a-half-year investigation — claimed it spoke with three men who say Tait befriended them on Christian music tours in 2004, 2010 and 2014 and sexually assaulted them. Tait previously announced his departure from Newsboys on Jan. 16, writing on Instagram that it was a "monumental and heartfelt decision" that "has been a shock to even myself." He joined Newsboys in 2009 following the exit of band co-founder and then-lead vocalist Peter Furler. "But amidst prayer and fasting, I have clarity that this is the right decision," he continued in his departure announcement, later writing that he hoped listeners would "continue to support my brothers as they continue on in the Newsboys mission." "My heart remains focused on spreading hope and love in everything I do. Thank you for walking this journey with me. I'm forever grateful," he concluded. Tait is also largely known for his solo career, as well as his work in DC Talk alongside Kevin Max and TobyMac. The group won four Grammys between 1993 and 2001.
