Qassem Forces destroy Israeli tank in Gaza
The Martyr Omar al-Qassem Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announced on Sunday the detonation of a Zionist Merkava tank near the Al-Barasi area, south of the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The forces said in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): "After returning from the front lines, fighters from the Martyr Omar al-Qassem Forces reported the detonation of a highly explosive device, "prepared in advance," in a Zionist Merkava tank near From the Al-Barasi area, south of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, on August 15, 2025.
