"Democratic Front" Calls on Arab States, European Union to Assume Responsibility Towards Gaza Strip

Damascus - Saba: The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine called today, Wednesday, on Arab states, in cooperation with the European Union countries, to assume their political, moral, and legal responsibilities towards the people of the Gaza Strip, who are suffering from hunger, malnutrition, exhaustion, thirst, and lack of water and medicine, turning the Strip into a place of daily death before the eyes and ears of the world. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Front pointed out that the state of helplessness has allowed the occupying state to commit crimes and openly challenge international will and the principles of international and humanitarian law, under blatant support from the U.S. administration, which continues to issue false promises to stop the war and the deaths in the Strip. The Democratic Front said: The group of Arab states possesses influential elements of pressure and action that enable it to play the required role, in cooperation with the international community, especially the European Union, and to put an end to the policy of death sweeping the Strip—children, women, and the elderly—in scenes that break the hearts of humanity. It considered that 'the failure to activate these elements of power raises dozens of question marks among our peoples regarding the truth behind Arab positions and claims, and the decisions of Arab summits concerning the place and status of the Palestinian cause in Arab political calculations, and about the true sense of human, fraternal, and moral responsibility towards our people suffering the scourge of siege and daily killing.' The Democratic Front added: For its part, the European Union also possesses elements of power no less important than those of the Arabs, especially as the EU is the primary trade partner of the occupying state, and it is bound with it by agreements related to human rights and their respect, enabling it to impose its will on Israel and deter it, forcing it to open the crossings and allow the entry of aid as a minimum step to alleviate the suffering of women and children, in response to the Palestinian human being's right to food and to preserve his human dignity. The Democratic Front concluded: The history of humanity is documenting the humanitarian tragedy in the Gaza Strip, while also recording the positions of all parties, especially those that are influential and capable of intervention and putting an end to this tragedy. History will not forgive. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

Democratic Front for Liberation of Palestine welcomes statement of 25

Gaza - Saba: The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomed the statement issued in London by 25 foreign ministers, calling for an end to the war in the Gaza Strip, saving the population from death by fire and starvation, and rejecting their displacement from the Strip or their detention in a large prison called the "Humanitarian City." In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on Monday, the Democratic Front praised "every action aimed at halting the effects of the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip and pressuring the enemy state to stop its war, withdraw its army from the Strip, and leave our people the sacred choice of self-determination on their land, far from any colonial projects, whatever their source." In the same context, the Democratic Front called on "the Arab countries whose representatives will meet at the Arab League to take effective and influential decisions to halt the heinous crimes committed daily by the fascist junta in the occupying entity. This junta is wanted by international justice at the International Criminal Court in The Hague for committing genocide, and by the International Criminal Court for its military-political leaders committing war crimes against our people." The Democratic Front emphasized the need for Arab countries to take positions that rise to the occasion, including withdrawing Arab ambassadors from the occupied entity, expelling enemy ambassadors, and imposing a complete economic boycott, including preventing the transfer of materials to the enemy through neighboring Arab countries. It also called for the activation of financial and economic power, as well as Arab diplomacy, to isolate the occupying entity internationally, halt its supply of weapons, and consider it a rogue state rebelling against international legitimacy. It also called for referring the issue of a ceasefire and breaking the siege in the Gaza Strip to the Security Council, and for adopting a cohesive position that prevents the Washington representative from resorting to using the veto. The Front called for the provision of the necessary aid to support the situation in the Gaza Strip, including what the situation requires in terms of food, environment and health, while at the same time providing decent shelter for those whose homes were destroyed, so that they can return to live in their ruins, and providing the necessary mechanisms to remove the rubble, and recover more than ten thousand bodies from under the rubble, and transferring the injured, wounded and sick in critical condition for treatment abroad. DFLP: More than 130 martyrs... and hunger is sweeping across children, women, elderly

Gaza - Saba: The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) confirmed that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 130, including approximately 80 victims of "death traps" where the American company distributes food supplies. Eighteen children have also died from starvation and lack of milk and medicine. The DFLP said in a statement on Monday, carried by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): "What is happening in the Gaza Strip has gone beyond the bounds of massacre and has turned into a daily killing spree, during which the enemy army and its fascist leadership boast about flexing their muscles, disregarding the international community, its laws, and its conventions. They are condescending to the calls of international institutions, including the United Nations, and defying the will of humanity calling for an end to the flow of Palestinian blood at the hands of settlers wearing combat fatigues, sheltering in their war machines, protected by US aircraft and its shameful stance in the Security Council." The Democratic Front added: "The humanitarian tragedy taking place in the Gaza Strip is beyond description, and the human suffering is heartbreaking, especially the crying of children searching through the garbage, in full view and hearing of the world, for something to eat, after food has become a precious commodity and impossible to obtain." The Democratic Front called for "a humanitarian revolution, with our people in the West Bank, the 1948 territories, and those in exile and the diaspora, alongside our Arab peoples, at its forefront. The free people of the world should respond to this revolution, launching a cry that awakens the conscience of governments, parliaments, and decision-makers to halt the horrific tragedy in the Gaza Strip." The Democratic Front also called on all those who stand in solidarity with the Gaza Strip—Palestinians, Arabs, and foreigners—to declare a hunger strike in solidarity with the children, women, and hungry people of Gaza until the walls of the blockade are broken and unconditional humanitarian aid is allowed into the Gaza Strip and distributed to the population in all areas of their presence, free from the interference of the enemy army and the American company of death. The Democratic Front concluded: Appeals are no longer a sufficient weapon, and it is time for us to demonstrate our new weapons: will and action on the ground, so that the enemy will submit and stop the war of killing and starvation in the Gaza Strip. "Democracy": War Criminal Netanyahu brags about using force to achieve his goals— blatant threat to regional nations

Gaza – Saba: The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) condemned, on Saturday, the arrogant and supremacist rhetoric of the head of the fascist Zionist entity's government, war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu—wanted by the International Criminal Court—as he reaffirmed that his colonialist government's goals would be achieved through force. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the DFLP described Netanyahu's language as a blatant threat to Arab nations and neighboring countries, exposing the true plans of the Zionist enemy state—backed by overt U.S. support—for the region's future and the nature of relations it seeks to impose on neighboring states. The Front pointed out that Netanyahu's rhetoric confirms his approach of relying on military force as the primary tool, under the doctrine of so-called "painful strikes," to subjugate the region and coerce it into surrendering to the Zionist project's goals in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. This poses a grave danger to the sovereignty, national interests, and security of neighboring countries, including Jordan and Egypt, which face the threat of being targeted for the forced displacement of millions of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. The DFLP stated: "The rising danger of the fascist role played by the Zionist enemy government is no longer confined to the Palestinian cause and our people's legitimate national rights. It has begun to reveal regional ambitions that will keep the Middle East in a state of turmoil and conflict." It added that Netanyahu's objectives include "redrawing international borders of some regional states, seizing territories under the false claim of being 'demilitarized,' and imposing restrictions on sovereign state presence near the borders of the Israeli entity—limiting their sovereignty and keeping them subjected to the doctrine of 'open-ended wars' and 'painful strikes,' which the criminal Netanyahu now openly promotes and actively implements." The DFLP called on Arab nations—all of which face the threat of the Israeli enemy—to act and uphold their responsibilities toward their people and future. It urged mobilizing Arab political, diplomatic, and economic strength to deter the Israeli entity and force it to comply with international legitimacy resolutions, as well as the principles of international and humanitarian law. Democratic Front condemns 'Death Snare' massacre in Khan Younis

Gaza - Saba: The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) condemned in the strongest terms the new Israeli massacre perpetrated by enemy forces this morning south of Khan Younis, which claimed the lives of more than 21 Palestinians, most of whom died of suffocation as a result of the heavy firing of tear gas canisters at crowds of citizens gathered to receive American aid. This led to a stampede and intense panic, resulting in this large number of deaths and injuries. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the DFLP considered this horrific massacre, which is being recorded for the first time in terms of both numbers and method, to reflect a new systematic approach to killing Palestinians by transforming aid distribution centers into veritable "death traps." Killing is no longer limited to bombing and starvation, but now includes more sinister methods that exploit people's need for food to survive, turning them into direct targets for policies of humiliation, starvation, and intimidation. The Democratic Front affirmed that the enemy, with the support of the American establishment, is continuing to implement a policy of genocide using various tools, ranging from siege and starvation, to direct killing, and even turning aid into a deadly trap, in flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws and norms. The Front held the Israeli enemy fully responsible for this massacre, calling for the formation of an independent international investigation committee to hold its perpetrators accountable, as it constitutes a crime against humanity. It also held the American establishment responsible for complicity in this crime, whether through its silence on these crimes or through its field, logistical, and political support for the enemy, turning its aid into tools of pressure and humiliation. It called on the United Nations and its relief agencies, including UNRWA, to assume their full responsibilities in directly supervising the aid distribution process and ensuring its safe and dignified delivery to citizens, free from the control and political exploitation of the occupation. It called on the Palestinian people to unite and stand firm, reject policies of humiliation, continue the national struggle against the enemy and its projects, and uphold their rights to a dignified life, liberation, and independence. She stated that this new crime adds to a long record of massacres and violations, and will not be forgotten. It will remain a testament to the brutality of the enemy and its allies, and to the legendary steadfastness of our people in the face of hunger, death, and international abandonment.
