Oppo has already confirmed its K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro mid-range phones will be officially introduced on July 21. The Chinese company kicked off the marketing campaign not long ago to increase the hype around its upcoming products. One of the latest teasers dropped by Oppo offers in-depth details about the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro's built-in active cooling fans. Besides that, the 2-minute video shows the waterproof standout feature of the duo.According to Oppo, its upcoming smartphones feature the company's 'most advanced heat dissipation system.' The cooling fans are so powerful that they can extinguish one or more candles grouped together instantly. As per Oppo's statement, because of the way the fans have been designed, the cooling efficiency is getting a 300 percent boost compared to standard cooling fans. More importantly, space usage has been reduced by 70 percent and the fan's power was increased by 120 percent. For hardcore gamers, Oppo has prepared a special Super Cooling Set kit, which can be purchased separately and includes a case with magnets that owners can use to attach additional external fans. But the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro are not just very 'cool' gaming phones , they're also very sturdy devices. The Chinese company confirmed both phones feature IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 certifications for water resistance. The video released by Oppo this week shows how the K13 Turbo's cooling fan is used to extinguish candles, after which it's immediately submersed under water for a few seconds. This had to be one of the biggest challenges for Oppo's engineers. The presence of a cooling fan typically means that the phone will not be waterproof, but the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro overcome this limitation. The only other information about the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro is that they will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8450 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipsets.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 crushes it again, because Samsung listened to feedback

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, though not in the hands of most users who've placed an order, has excelled massively over the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Samsung listened, and its new phone is apparently exactly what fans had been hoping for after the archaic Fold 6. China is a major market, but it's also extremely competitive. The Fold 6 quickly fell behind domestic foldable phones after its launch, and Samsung had to release the region-exclusive Fold 6 SE just to claw back some market share. However, with the Fold 7 , Chinese consumers have shown that they're quite willing to support Samsung if the company listens to feedback. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has already sold ( translated source ) double what the Fold 6 had managed in the same time frame. Chinese customers have shown quite clearly that they value a competitive product. The Fold 7 is easily one of the best foldables of 2025, in my opinion. It's super slim, it has a fantastic display with an improved crease, you get excellent cameras, and the seven years of software support is always a plus. Samsung listened to user feedback, ditched the archaic and bulky design of the Fold 6, and delivered a phone that gives the competition a run for its money. The Galaxy Z Fold improves drastically over its predecessor. | Video credit — Samsung Of course, it's not perfect, yet. The Fold 7 uses the same 4,400 mAh battery that the Fold 6 came with. This battery, from a purely numbers-focused perspective, falls behind alternatives like the Oppo Find N5 and the Honor Magic V5. Nevertheless, there is a case to be made for the Fold 7's battery. The Fold 7 is very similar to the Fold 6 SE that came before it. It's slimmer than the base Fold 6, has a main display that's the same size, and even has the same punch hole design instead of an under-display camera. If, for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Samsung is able to increase the battery capacity, then it'll have a winner on its hands. And that's something that the company needs, because next year is likely to be the year when Apple finally announces its foldable iPhone. $1120 off (53%) Pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at Samsung and grab a free storage upgrade on the 512GB model. On top of that, you can save an extra up to $1,000 with eligible device trade-ins. Alternatively, you can buy the phone with a $300 Samsung Credit. Pre-order at Samsung

OnePlus 15 might be released along with an even more exciting flagship-killer

(source in Chinese) OnePlus 13 OnePlus 13 Would you consider a OnePlus flagship smartphone? The device is rumored to feature the yet unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which will have the model number SM8850. The premiere of the 8 Elite 2 is expected in September, and the OnePlus 15 might be one of the first devices powered by it. OnePlus Ace 6 might be the more surprising device. According to the new leak, it'll be powered by a Qualcomm chipset with the model number SM8845. It is unclear which chip that might be, but it's likely the Snapdragon 8s Gen5. That chip might be released alongside the 8 Elite 2 and provide performance just below that of the original Snapdragon 8 Elite. Whatever its specs are, the OnePlus Ace 6 will likely serve as the base for a OnePlus 15R. The OnePlus 13R Review: The best flagship-killer from OnePlus is here I am quite excited about the OnePlus lineup, considering how good the various OnePlus 13 models were. If the company manages to introduce the right improvements, it could be the long-needed strong alternative to Apple and Samsung in the US. The OnePlus 13R , which was basically the global version of the OnePlus Ace 5, was so good that we called it 'the best flagship-killer' in our review. That's not the first time we have heard about the upcoming flagship. The OnePlus 15 is rumored to have a few apparent downgrades, compared to last year's. The less obvious one might be the new 6.78-inch 1.5K display, which may replace the 6.82-inch 2K screen of last year's striking might be the potential end of OnePlus' partnership with Hasselblad, which would lead to changes to the cameras. OnePlus is rumored to develop an in-house camera platform with different branding to replace the Hasselblad system. There's a rumor that the phone will have a battery with over 7,000 mAh capacity and 100W wired and wireless charging. Finally, there's a chance we see a OnePlus 15 Pro, though that one might be announced later in you're wondering why there's no OnePlus 14 , the company has skipped it. The reason is the Chinese superstition that the number '4' is unlucky because when pronounced in Chinese, it sounds similar to the word for 'death.' That is why theis followed by OnePlus 15.

OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 now rumored to launch together, here's when

According to a new rumor from China, the OnePlus 15 will launch in the country in October, but not alone. It will allegedly be unveiled alongside the Ace 6 (and possibly the Ace 6 Pro as well), which is an interesting change in strategy for the brand, which last year unveiled the OnePlus 13 in October and the Ace 5 in December. But wait, there's more. For quite some time now, the OnePlus 15 has been rumored to downgrade to a "1.5K" screen resolution, and lose the Hasselblad camera collaboration. It should compensate for that with the best battery life ever on a OnePlus flagship. And it might be joined by a OnePlus 15 Pro, though this could be coming later down the line, possibly around December. OnePlus 13 The OnePlus 15 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC (model number SM8850) which Qualcomm is announcing in September, but the Ace 6 will apparently use the yet-unnamed SM8845, which may or may not end up being called Snapdragon 8s Gen 5. This will reportedly be unveiled alongside the 8 Elite 2, representing a small step down from that chip, with performance that's just below that of the original Snapdragon 8 Elite. The OnePlus Ace 6 is said to be the first device using this chip. Source (in Chinese) | Via
