Stream of new music keeps flowing for acclaimed alt-rockers Friko
'Where We've Been, Where We Go from Here,' Friko's widely acclaimed debut album, was released a year ago. But singer-guitarist Niko Kapetan and singer-drummer Bailey Minzenberger have lived with the alt-rock record for much longer.
'It was a very long, like three-year, process of writing and recording the record,' recalls Kapetan in a phone interview. The work was done in spare moments 'at an events space, where they would have bar mitzvahs and weddings.'
