PSG vs Inter Milan, UEFA Champions League Final Live Updates: Paris Saint-Germain take on Inter in Munich
PSG vs Inter Milan, UEFA Champions League Final Live Scorecard Online Today Match: Saturday night's UCL final at the Allianz Arena will mark the long dominance of Spanish and English clubs in the continental event while marking a new dawn for French or Italian football as Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan aim to end their own title droughts in the competition.
For French football, a PSG victory would signify a long-awaited resurgence on the European stage, shooting back to Marseille's triumph in 1993. An Inter Milan win, on the other hand, would be a much-needed rekindling for Italian football. Italian clubs have reached the final only thrice in the last 14 years and lost all of them.
The final will also represent a fascinating clash of ideologies. Inter Milan embodies a more traditional approach, featuring a classical front two, a three-man defence with adept man-markers, and a deep-lying playmaker. Yet, they've also incorporated modern tactics on their way past Barcelona and Bayern Munich, with an ageing squad that often fields the oldest lineups in the competition.
In stark contrast, PSG represents a postmodern footballing philosophy. While their journey to the knockout stages was somewhat erratic, Luis Enrique's young squad, poses a sturdy threat with their vibrant composition.
Resolute Inter Milan vs postmodern, vibrant PSG: How the Champions League final is a clash of footballing ideologies
PSG Inter Milan Champions League
The contrast between Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain is striking, particularly in terms of experience. Inter's probable starting lineup boasts an average age of 30 years and 4 months, while PSG's is significantly younger at 24 years and 7 months. This disparity extends to their Champions League final experience as well. Eight players from Inter's likely starting XI were part of their last Champions League final appearance just two years ago. The impact of this age and experience gap on Saturday's match will largely hinge on the game's tempo. (READ MORE)

Cruise said their friendship was formed when the actor was filming in England. 'I've always watched him play. Manchester United, when he [Beckham] got there in 92 and I was a fan when he was there, and Beckham, that kick you made, the 30-yard one from the halfway line. Your jersey was selling, all the players got more awareness, everybody did, and a rising tide raises all boats, and look where you are now," Cruise informed CBS Sports. Cruise added, 'Once David went and he made it OK, and you also won two Championships there, and everywhere you went, you won, everywhere! That was amazing, it was a great time for the sport and how it's evolved. And now you're taking it as an owner, with [Lionel] Messi playing for Miami, what you've done there with you guys, again taking it to that next level, and that is inspiring. What you've done on the field, you're doing in business.'

Macron On Violence In Paris After PSG's UCL Win: 'Nothing Can Justify...'
Last Updated: French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the violence after PSG's UEFA Champions League win, which led to two deaths and 600 arrests. French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the 'unacceptable" violence that erupted during celebrations following Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League final victory, as he welcomed the victorious team to the Élysée Palace on Sunday. 'Nothing can justify the violent clashes that occurred in the last few hours," Macron stated. 'We will pursue, we will punish, we will be relentless," he added before congratulating the players on their win. Two people died, and police arrested nearly 600 individuals across France overnight as fans celebrated PSG's 5-0 triumph over Inter Milan in Munich on Saturday. 'The violent clashes are unacceptable and have resulted in a heavy toll: two people are dead, around 30 police officers and several firefighters were injured," Macron said. 'My thoughts are also with the police officer in Coutances who is currently in a coma," he added, referring to the town in western France where a police officer was struck in the eye by a firework. Macron hosted PSG coach Luis Enrique and his team after their victory parade on the Champs-Élysées avenue, thanking the players for their swift condemnation of the violence. 'These isolated acts are contrary to the club's values and do not represent the vast majority of our supporters, whose exemplary behaviour throughout the season deserves praise," the club said on Sunday. Macron also congratulated the team for their 'sublime" victory over Inter Milan. 'You are the champions and you have put Paris at the top of Europe," he said. 'There were 11 of you on the field, but there was clearly a twelfth man – the entire French public, regardless of traditional allegiances," Macron said, referring to his own loyalty to PSG's rival club, Olympique de Marseille. It was the first time PSG had won the biggest prize in European club football. Many of the team's stars, comprising one of the youngest sides in the competition, are drawn from the vast football talent pool in the Paris suburbs after PSG's Qatari owners shifted their focus away from signing star players like Neymar and Lionel Messi. A total of 11.5 million people across France tuned in to watch the UEFA Champions Leage final. First Published: June 02, 2025, 07:59 IST
