Our Yorkshire Farm fans 'barely recognise' Amanda and Clive Owen's children as they show off dramatic new looks in latest reality show
Our Yorkshire Farm fans have said they 'barely recognised' Amanda and Clive Owen's children as they appeared with dramatic new looks in the latest series of their reality show.
The shepherdess, 50, her farmer ex-husband, 69, and their nine children returned to our screens for the first episode of the new series of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids on Tuesday night.
A spin-off from beloved farm life documentary series Our Yorkshire Farm, it sees the family renovate an abandoned farmhouse with the help of their children - Raven, 23, Reuben, 21, Miles, 18, Edith, 16, Violet, 14, Sidney, 13, Annas, 11, Clemmy, nine, and Nancy, eight.
But viewers were shocked to see the kids looking so mature on the show's second series, especially 13-year-old Sidney, who was just seven when Our Yorkshire Farm first aired in 2018.
Fans took to social media to express their love of seeing the Owen kids grow up on screen, with one saying, 'Sidney looks so grown up', and, another adding, 'Barely recognised Sid, he looks so grown up', the Express reports.
He was even compared to his older brother Reuben, who now has his own spin-off Reuben: Life In The Dales about setting up a heavy plant machinery business with friends.

Sidney and his older brother Miles stepped up in last night's episode, helping their father Clive with sheep herding on the family's Yorkshire Dales farm Ravenseat while he recovered from a hip operation.
Though the farmer could not stop himself from helping out a little here and there, he was deeply thankful to his sons for taking on most of the work.
He said: 'I couldn't have managed without these lads to do what needed doing. So yeah, they have done very well.
'It means from now on they needn't hand the reins back to me, they can just carry on.'
He even went as far to joke: 'I could find myself redundant.'
Viewers spotted the girls were suddenly looking much older too, with one saying, 'Violet has certainly shot up'.
Another added: 'My gosh, those girls have grown up so much.'
Some thought all the children were looking more grown-up these days: 'All the children have grown so much and have beautiful personalities.'

Another user agreed: 'Can't believe how much the children have grown.'
It comes after their mother Amanda Owen sparked concern on yesterday's episode of Lorraine as fans claimed 'something doesn't seem right' during an interview from her farm.
She split from her husband in 2022 after 22 years of marriage - and opened up to host Lorraine, 65, about family life now as they continue to co-parent and what viewers can expect from the new series.
Speaking about her relationship with Clive, Amanda said: 'It's about moving forward. We've got plenty to amuse ourselves. There's space.
'There's room to get away from each other, if we're being absolutely brutally honest here.'
But some watching at home took to X to share their concerns. One asked: 'Is Amanda ok? Something doesn't seem right #Lorraine.'
'Wow, Amanda is not looking well at all #lorraine.'
'She doesn't look well.'
'She does not look well & yet Lorraine totally oblivious … or ignoring it.'
Her concerning interview came before the release of the first episode of series two of Our Farm Next Door last night - in which she made a cheeky joke about her ex-husband's difficulties 'getting his leg over'.
It was in reference to the second hip replacement he was about to undergo - but concerned fans pointed out 'you can see he's in pain' as he prepared for the procedure in the episode, filmed in September last year.
Amanda said: 'It's getting ever so close now to Clive going for his hip operation. So yeah, he's a bit nervous. I can tell, I know he's a bit nervous, but he needs doing.
'Because basically, I don't think I can say... he can't get his leg over, but yeah, he can't.
'He's having to sit sideways on the quad bike at the moment. So yeah, it's giving him some jip.
'And trying to persuade him to do anything that's gonna take him out of action is quite a hard sell, really.'
The first series of Our Farm Next Door aired in October last year, coming to an emotional end in November.
Fans fretted for months about whether the show would return - before the production company Wise Owl Films confirmed last month it was coming back.
It announced just last week that the first episode would air last night.
A clip posted by production company Wise Owl Films when the series' return was announced told viewers what they could expect from it.
The caption read: 'The hard work continues...but there's also plenty of laughs in store, balmy sunny days, a winter wonderland, goats in coats and the return of Tony the Pony as we enjoy Summer to Spring in the new series.'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in brutal TalkTV putdown of video clip
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Meghan Markle faced ridicule on TalkTV after revealing a video of her attempting a spot of twerking in a hospital suite during labour with her daughter Lilibet. Meghan's antics were met with a parody treatment as presenter Kevin O'Sullivan donned a dark wig and makeshift bump to mimic the Duchess in labour, dancing along to the tune of 'Baby Mama'. Sporting the getup, O'Sullivan also had a go at imitating Prince Harry with a ginger wig. In a mockingly captioned clip, TalkTV quipped: "Inspired by Meghan Markle's hospital twerking video, Kevin O'Sullivan gives it a go. But is his baby bump REAL?" poking fun at the conspiracy theories that questioned the authenticity of Meghan's pregnancies. The spoof, complete with a digitally rendered hospital backdrop, sent viewers into fits of laughter, leading them to lavish praise on the presenter for his comical gyrations. One viewer exclaimed, "Kevin got the moves! Looking good there," while another playfully commented, "Ffs these just keep getting better and better! !". A third lauded, "Spitting image of them two," with a fourth echoing the sentiment, "Oh Kevin.. I really wanted to see you twerk.. lol,"reports the Express. Despite the comedy, one person pointed out, "This is hilarious, but tbf, any woman who has given birth will know she'll have that big strap around her belly where they attach the heart monitor devices etc." Another defended Meghan, saying, "I can't stand the woman but her bump was real." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced criticism for sharing a video amidst their quest for a more private life outside the Royal family. However, since rejoining Instagram earlier this year, Meghan has been giving fans a glimpse into their family life. Marking her daughter's fourth birthday, Meghan shared a post saying: "Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates... so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do!" She added laughing emojis to the post. She also posted a heartwarming photo of Prince Harry holding Lilibet as a newborn and another of him holding her hand as a child, writing: "The sweetest bond to watch unfold. Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!".

BBC The One Show paused as Alex Jones pays emotional tribute to 'friend'
The One Show host Alex Jones paid tribute to a friend at the start of Thursday's show The One Show host Alex Jones has delivered a heartfelt homage to a "friend" one year after their tragic death. During tonight's (June 5) episode of the popular BBC show, Alex and her colleague Roman Kemp delved into the day's top stories from the UK and beyond. The presenting duo also chatted with Clare Balding about an exciting summer for women's sports, and caught up with Michael Sheen and Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville and Tom Cullen, who are joining forces again for the BBC drama The Gold. At the start of the episode, Alex shared a touching tribute to Dr Michael Mosley, who died at the age of 67 after going missing while on holiday on the Greek island of Symi last June. "It's been a year since our friend Dr Michael Mosley sadly died. He had a long history with this show and one of his sons, who's also a doctor, shared with us how he hopes to continue his father's legacy," she remarked, reports the Express. A special segment was then aired, with Michael's son, Dr Jack Mosley, explaining how he planned to follow in his father's footsteps. "My dad was so passionate about healthy living, and his infectious enthusiasm was part of what made him so popular," Jack reflected. Discussing the aftermath of his father's death, Jack continued: "It was such a sudden thing when dad did pass away. It has been difficult for my siblings and I, my mum. The only positive I can think to come out of it is it has brought us closer together as a family, and that's something that he would have liked to see." Michael's spouse Clare, also a medic by profession, conveyed how the outpouring of public sympathy has provided her immense solace during this hard time. She then took cameras into the cupboard where Michael used to record his podcast, Just One Thing, and revealed that she "can't quite bring herself" to take down the podcast's poster. Now, Jack has written a book on weight loss medication and food nutrition, called Food Noise. He has worked closely with his mum, who has created over 50 healthy recipes for the book. Jack concluded: "To continue on some of these really important messages about healthy eating and lifestyle changes is something that was very important to my dad. I do want to continue that mission." Back in the BBC studio, Alex reflected: "It's hard to believe it's been a year... Our thoughts, of course, are with the whole family at this time." Beyond his podcast, Michael gained recognition for his roles in several health-focused TV programmes, including Trust Me, I'm A Doctor, The Truth about Exercise, and Lose a Stone in 21 Days.

Amanda Holden 'goes naked' on radio after BGT dress Ofcom complaints
Amanda Holden took to the airwaves on Thursday morning alongside pal Jamie Theakston and appeared to be naked for their breakfast morning show on Heart FM Amanda Holden seemingly shunned any Ofcom complaints by appearing to be naked on air. The Britain's Got Talent judge's outfit on the ITV talent show's finale was criticised by some viewers, but she was clearly unfazed. She appears to have ignored any negative views - and looked to be completely nude on Heart FM's Breakfast Show's live stream. Her appearance even made her co-host Jamie Theakston do a double take. As she sat in her DJ chair on Thursday morning, she said on air: "Good morning, Mr Theakston. It is 6.30am and I've just caught myself on the camera and don't you think I look naked this morning? Sat behind here?" Jamie seemed to stumble in his response, replying: "Do you know what... You are wearing clothes, aren't you?" His comments amused his pal and co-host. She laughed as she said back: "I just looked and went, 'What? Have I forgotten to put my clothes on?'" The camera angle made it look like the 54-year-old had no clothes on, with only a chunky pearl necklace visible. She was, however, also wearing a pale pink strapless dress and was photographed outside of the London studios. As well as Amanda's BGT finale dress complaints following Saturday's show, fellow judge Alesha Dixon's attire was also criticised. The duo, alongside Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli, watched on as the public voted for magician Harry Moulding as their winner. In total, the female judges' outfits received 72 complaints to Ofcom. When contacted by the Mirror, Ofcom said they had received the complaints from viewers, who alleged the star's frocks were "too revealing for a family show". Amanda had stunned in her final outfit for the ITV talent competition after vowing to never tone down her fashion choices. It came after she had received a number of criticisms since the series started. She made sure to pull out all the stops for the star-studded finale, opting for a braless, plunging custom-made white silk gown from Saint Hendrix. She wore her hair slicked back into a bun with several bejewelled clips. Alesha meanwhile, turned heads in a sequin-strewn see-through jump suit, which revealed her underwear. It's far from the first time the pair's looks have been complained about on the show. In July 2017, Amanda wore a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress. It went on to be the most complained about TV moment of the year. The mum-of-two joked the incident was a 'national crisis' at the time. She teased in Closer magazine: "I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried. I think people should have fun with fashion!" She went on: "I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together... It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up."
