Amanda Holden 'goes naked' on radio after BGT dress Ofcom complaints
Amanda Holden took to the airwaves on Thursday morning alongside pal Jamie Theakston and appeared to be naked for their breakfast morning show on Heart FM
Amanda Holden seemingly shunned any Ofcom complaints by appearing to be naked on air. The Britain's Got Talent judge's outfit on the ITV talent show's finale was criticised by some viewers, but she was clearly unfazed.
She appears to have ignored any negative views - and looked to be completely nude on Heart FM's Breakfast Show's live stream. Her appearance even made her co-host Jamie Theakston do a double take.
As she sat in her DJ chair on Thursday morning, she said on air: "Good morning, Mr Theakston. It is 6.30am and I've just caught myself on the camera and don't you think I look naked this morning? Sat behind here?"
Jamie seemed to stumble in his response, replying: "Do you know what... You are wearing clothes, aren't you?"
His comments amused his pal and co-host. She laughed as she said back: "I just looked and went, 'What? Have I forgotten to put my clothes on?'"
The camera angle made it look like the 54-year-old had no clothes on, with only a chunky pearl necklace visible. She was, however, also wearing a pale pink strapless dress and was photographed outside of the London studios.
As well as Amanda's BGT finale dress complaints following Saturday's show, fellow judge Alesha Dixon's attire was also criticised. The duo, alongside Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli, watched on as the public voted for magician Harry Moulding as their winner.
In total, the female judges' outfits received 72 complaints to Ofcom. When contacted by the Mirror, Ofcom said they had received the complaints from viewers, who alleged the star's frocks were "too revealing for a family show".
Amanda had stunned in her final outfit for the ITV talent competition after vowing to never tone down her fashion choices. It came after she had received a number of criticisms since the series started.
She made sure to pull out all the stops for the star-studded finale, opting for a braless, plunging custom-made white silk gown from Saint Hendrix. She wore her hair slicked back into a bun with several bejewelled clips.
Alesha meanwhile, turned heads in a sequin-strewn see-through jump suit, which revealed her underwear. It's far from the first time the pair's looks have been complained about on the show.
In July 2017, Amanda wore a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress. It went on to be the most complained about TV moment of the year. The mum-of-two joked the incident was a 'national crisis' at the time.
She teased in Closer magazine: "I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried. I think people should have fun with fashion!"
She went on: "I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together... It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up."

Eileen Grimshaw had a special send-off during Friday's episode of the soap, where she was seen leaving for Thailand alongside her son Jason Grimshaw, played by Ryan Thomas. Simon Gregson's character Steve McDonald, Tony Maudsley's George Shuttleworth, and Eileen's son Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, all said goodbye to the matriarch before drivers from the local taxi firm honked their horns as she was driven off. In an Instagram post, Cleaver said: 'Well… that's a wrap. 25 years of laughs, tears, costumes, chaos — and one unforgettable journey. A post shared by Sue Cleaver (@officialsuecleaver) 'I'll miss this character like crazy, but what a ride it's been. Thank you for every moment.' Cleaver has played the outspoken and uncomplicated Eileen in the ITV show since 2000. Coronation Street fans slam Eileen Grimshaw's ‘ridiculous' exit as she waves goodbye to the cobbles after 25 years
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CORONATION Street fans were left baffled by Eileen Grimshaw's emotional farewell tonight after 25 years. Eileen, played by Sue Cleaver, told her heartbroken boyfriend George she didn't love him anymore before hopping in a cab with son Jason and announcing: 'I'm moving to Thailand.' Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 4 Eileen was greeted to a big treat by the Street Cars drivers Credit: ITV 4 She left behind an emotional George after breaking up with him 4 Eileen declared 'I'm moving to Thailand' A cheery Eileen was waved off outside the Rovers after a few drinks with her Streetcars co-workers Steve and Tim. Eileen was greeted to a big treat by the Street Cars drivers, who beeped as she drove away. George was left in tears, having confronted Eileen with his suspicions that she wasn't attracted to him anymore. George was due to fly to Thailand with Eileen - and fans couldn't believe he'd throw away the money he spent on the ticket. Others slammed the idea of Eileen as a barmaid in Thailand, and moving halfway across the world on a whim. 'It's hilarious how they make moving so simple in soaps… 'She couldn't just up and leave to live permanently in Thailand without the correct visa,' one fan wrote. 'Can't see Eileen as a Thai barmaid,' another added, while a third joked: 'Seems they're giving Eileen a boring, miserable exit!' Long-time viewers also felt the storyline was a letdown compared to Eileen's dramatic past. 'Remember when Eileen got her head stuck in the railings? This has been mostly dull and miserable — which sums up Eileen in recent years,' one fan said. Even George's tearful goodbye was mocked, as one said:'George! You're not a murderer, a liar, thief, womaniser… that's why Eileen isn't interested in you, hon!' She also made the decision to make a fresh start in Thailand after being worn down by being suspected in her sister Julie's tragic death. In Friday's episode, Eileen's mind is turned to leaving the cobbles after hearing Theo's impassioned speech to his daughter Millie. Theo explains to his teenage daughter, that he can't return to live with her mum, his ex, because "it didn't feel right," after realising he was attracted to men and wanted to see where is his relationship with Todd went. George realised how Theo's speech moved Eileen and went to confront her after she'd been at the police who had just cleared her of any wrongdoing in Julie's death. The Sun exclusively revealed in January that she had quit the show after 25 years on the Salford set to look for new acting opportunities. 'The door is still firmly open but as I reached my 60th year, I decided it was time to embrace change, look for new adventures and live fearlessly,' she explained. One of Sue's major next steps is to become a a regular panellist on Loose Women after first appearing on the daytime panel show in 2023. Sue took a break from Corrie last year to star in Sister Act The Musical as Mother Superior and appeared in reality show I'm A Celebrity in 2022. Last year, Sue released her memoir A Work In Progress and revealed she was embracing being in her 60s.
