Music star cancels string of European gigs due to health issue
The singer-songwriter took to social media and shared this unfortunate update with fans.

Geordie-born superstar Sam Fender, 31, is a three-time Brit Award winner.
The chart-topper's announcement came after he opened the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Taking to Instagram, Sam explained how he had his voice checked at the start of the week - discovering the cords were "slightly swollen".
After resting up for a few days, he was deemed to fit perform at Silverstone - but soon felt "things were a lot harder" than usual and he'd pushed harder to sing.
Sam later learned that he had a haemorrhage on one of his vocal cords.
He explained: "I've been advised to be on vocal restriction and to not sing for the next 14 days.
"If I were to play at these next shows I would risk cause lasting damage to my vocal cords."
This includes his upcoming performances at Rock Werchter, Down The Rabbit Hole, NOS Alive and Montreux Jazz Festivals.
Sam continued: "I'm so sorry to everybody who is coming to these festivals with our show in mind.
"Our fans are the most important thing to us, I hate letting people down and I hate not being able to sing for weeks as it is my only real passion in life.

"I hope that I'm able to make it up to you down the line. Until then I'm gonna work to get this voice fixed.

Earlier this year, The Sun revealed how Sam landed a huge deal to be the face of iconic sports brand Adidas.
A source told us at the time: "Sam has signed a big deal with Adidas to be part of a cool campaign with the Newcastle squad.
'It'll coincide with his tour, which kicks off at the London Stadium on June 6, before he plays three more sold-out shows at St James' Park.
'They got in 120 extras to act as fans for the video, which I'm told will include Sam hobnobbing with some of his favourite players.

Tomorrowland bosses give major festival update with 400k fans to begin arriving TODAY after blaze burns down main stage
TOMORROWLAND bosses have confirmed the festival will go ahead as planned - even without its main stage - as thousands of fans begin arriving today. The update comes after a devastating blaze tore through the heart of the site just two days before the opening of the famous EDM festival. 10 10 10 The fire broke out around 6pm on Wednesday evening at Tomorrowland's elaborate, ice-themed main stage in Boom, Belgium. Firefighters raced to the scene, but the towering structure was quickly engulfed. Footage from the site show flames ripping through the stage as thick smoke billowed across the skyline. But despite the loss of its most iconic feature, organisers said the party is still on. Tomorrowland spokesperson Debby Wilmsen said at a press conference on Wednesday: "Years of love and passion have gone into building that stage. Those teams are devastated. "Tomorrow, 38,000 festival-goers will arrive, we're really looking forward to that, and we're going to give them a warm welcome. We're going to make it a wonderful festival." "All of the other stages are still intact,' she added. "The intention is for the festival to go ahead. But we can't do magic, so it will be without the main stage. "Our production team will now do everything they can to make it truly special." Tomorrowland's DreamVille campsite opens today, with all Global Journey events in Brussels and Antwerp also going ahead as planned, Rolling Stone reports. We can confirm that no one was injured during the incident. "We are focused on finding solutions for the festival weekend… More updates and detailed information will be communicated as soon as possible." The exact cause of the blaze is still under investigation. But sources told Gazet van Antwerpen that the fire may have started while the main stage's fireworks cannons were being tested. In several online videos, what sounds like fireworks can be heard going off as the flames spread. Local firefighter François van den Eynde described the scene as nearly impossible to control. "The blaze spread very quickly," he told Rolling Stone, "likely because of the materials used." He added: "Despite all our resources, it was impossible to stop something like that. "We tried to extinguish the fire, but as soon as you realise you're not succeeding, you have to limit the damage to the rest of the festival site. That's what we did. At the time of the fire, around 1,000 staff were working on-site, but no members of the public were present. As news of the fire broke, the global dance community quickly rallied behind Tomorrowland.
