
'Adored' dad died after incident in South Lanarkshire
Graeme John Baillie tragically passed away following a crash involving a motorcycle and an HGV.
The incident happened shortly after 2pm on Thursday, May 8, on the A70 near Glespin.
It involved a blue Suzuki motorcycle and a red Volvo lorry. After being alerted to the collision, emergency crews raced to the incident, however, Graeme was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Following his death, police have since released a touching tribute from Graeme's family.
They said: 'Graeme was an adored husband and father, and he leaves behind a broken-hearted family and many friends whose lives he touched on a daily basis.
"Many thanks to the road traffic police officers for their support.'
An investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing.
Constable Dougie Bryson said: 'Our thoughts are with Mr Baillie's family and friends at this difficult time. We'll continue to liaise with them throughout our investigation.
'I'd like to thank everyone who has come forward with information to assist our enquiries.'

The alarm was raised after officers received reports of a crash involving a Volkswagen Polo and an HGV. The young teen was found injured and tragically passed away at the scene. The other two people who were travelling in the motor - another female, 18, and the male driver, 20 - were blue-lighted to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries. Devastated friends and family have paid tribute on social media after learning of Ellie's death. Many have flocked to Facebook after hearing the devastating news. One person said: "She was a sweet girl! Rest in peace, good memories". Another added: "Absolutely heartbreaking, thinking of her family". Her cousin posted: "Words can't describe how devastated I am to hear that you've left this world, will forever love you and cherish all the memories we made. Rest easy cuz".
