Miley Cyrus' New Single Reminds Fans How Much They Love Her Career-Defining Hit

Right now, all eyes and ears are on Miley Cyrus' latest single. The singer-songwriter is back with a brand new tune, and while 'End of the World' is grabbing headlines as it kicks off her Something Beautiful era, it's not the only composition from her discography that people are listening to right now. While she may be focused on what's next, one of the pop star's most famous tracks is growing in popularity again, buoyed by the exciting new release.
As 'End of the World' makes its less-than-grand debut in the U.K., 'Flowers' by Cyrus is growing again. The former chart-topper is currently on the rise on not one, but two purchase-only tallies in Britain. This frame, 'Flowers' jumps six spaces to No. 70 on the Official Singles Downloads chart. At the same time, it leaps by double digits on the Official Singles Sales list, soaring to No. 72.
Cyrus now claims not one, but two spots on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts. Her brand new track 'End of the World' earns a lofty start on both rosters, opening at No. 8 on each. With her latest win, the Grammy winner has now snagged 10 top 10 hits on the overall sales ranking, and 14 on the downloads-only list.
Beyond the sales tallies, 'End of the World' also opens on a pair of consumption-focused charts in the U.K. — though it doesn't begin quite as high on either of them. The Something Beautiful track arrives at No. 23 on the Official Singles chart, the country's definitive ranking of the most-consumed songs each week.
On the Official Streaming chart, the song fails to crack even the top half, beginning its run at No. 56. That's not a stellar debut, but it's far from a flop either — and with an album on the way and more promotion likely, it's possible that this is just the beginning for Cyrus' new era.
'Flowers' was first released in early 2023 and quickly became one of the biggest hits of Cyrus' career, spending multiple weeks at No. 1 in dozens of markets around the world. It fronted her most recent full-length Endless Summer Vacation, which earned critical acclaim and was a solid commercial success. The fact that it's still charting more than two years later – which doesn't seem likely for 'End of the World' based on this early performance – speaks to its incredibly popularity.

Miley Cyrus Puts Her Own Twist on a '80s Rockstar Hairstyle at the Chanel and Tribeca Film Festival Luncheon in NYC
Miley Cyrus embodied the quintessential 1980s rockstar at Chanel's annual luncheon in collaboration with The Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Friday. The 32-year-old 'Flowers' singer, who just released her latest studio album titled 'Something Beautiful,' attended the gathering to celebrate the Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program alongside a ballot of female actors, entertainers, filmmakers and music artists, including Parker Posey, Lola Tung, Riley Keough and Olivia Munn. Cyrus continued her side part stint, teasing her dark brown roots up and over to create an Elvis-esque bump in the front with only a single curl touching her forehead. Her bright blond highlights melted between her messy curls behind her shoulders. Yet, her stark side part and choppy barrel waves resembled a wild hair trend within the music scene during the 1980s. Hairstylist Bob Recine was behind the look. Recine has worked with the former Disney Channel star for years. For the most part, Cyrus kept her black sunglasses on outside in The Greenwich Hotel Courtyard. Underneath the shades, however, she wore a bit of bronze shadow on her eyes, mascara, white liner in her waterline and light pink gloss on her lips. Her go-to makeup artist is James Kaliardos, the professional behind her recent look for a surprise performance at The Carlyle Hotel earlier this week. Her fashion at the luncheon fit the rocker aesthetic, comprised of an inky black vest with four pockets, a two-tiered pleated skirt, matching nylons and mary jane heels. Next to her was her mom, Tish, dressed in a white blazer, black trousers, a lacy tank top and strappy, open-toe sandals. Cyrus' attendance on Friday comes just a week after her ninth studio album dropped. The record is also accompanied by her first short film, which is set to premiere during the festival on Friday. The film will be an extension of her album, a visual interpretation of the storyline told through all 13 songs. Miley Cyrus Gives the Little Black Dress a Dark Glamour Spin in Mugler for ‘Jimmy Fallon' Appearance
Miley Cyrus made her latest appearance on her 'Something Beautiful' promotional tour on Wednesday in New York City. The Grammy Award-winning singer was a special guest on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' where she discussed her ninth studio album and musical film. For the occasion, Cyrus went back into the archives and incorporated contemporary trends. The 'Flowers' singer wore a Mugler dress inspired by the label's fall 1998 ready-to-wear collection. The little black dress featured a structured silhouette with elements of the dark glamour trend, such as its formfitting shape with sinuous patterning along the fabric. The straps of the dress did not include the patterning and provided a slight fabric contrast. Cyrus paired the little black dress with sheer black tights and pointed-toe black pumps with an ankle strap. As for accessories, Cyrus kept her look relatively minimal, opting instead to keep the dress the centerpiece of her ensemble, along with her arm tattoos. Cyrus' look was curated by stylist Bradley Kenneth, who has continued to collaborate with the singer for the last several years. Her outfit not only revived a late '90s Mugler design, but the little black dress also nodded to an ongoing trend of creative takes on the wardrobe staple. On the Tuesday episode of 'The Tonight Show,' Taraji P. Henson styled her take on the LBD with her Christian Siriano dress, from the designer's fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection. Amanda Seyfried gave the LBD a spin in fringe for the 'I Don't Understand You' screening on Monday in New York City. Cyrus' 'Something Beautiful' debuted on May 30, featuring such songs as the single 'End of the World.' The album is accompanied by a musical film that will debut on Friday. Miley Cyrus responds to frustrated hecklers with surprise performance at Tribeca Festival
Miley Cyrus is all about appeasing her fans. On Friday, the Disney alum - who was celebrating the release of her new film, "Something Beautiful" at the Tribeca Festival in New York City - was greeted by hecklers during a Q&A panel after the film's premiere. In a video posted to X, Cyrus - who was joined by her producer Panos Cosmatos, and collaborators Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter - was speaking when a voice from the crowd could be heard saying,"We thought this was a concert! We paid $800!" Another fan yelled, "Are you actually gonna sing?!" "Sing 'The Climb'!" one member of the audience demanded. Cyrus handled the request like a professional and replied, "You have to start it." Singing a few verses, the surprise performance quickly turned into a sing-along as the crowd joined in. Fans were quick to come to the singer's defense, dubbing the hecklers as rude. "Seriously though, she is incredible for this reaction to the rude calls for her to sing. Exceptional grace," one fan wrote. "Not a Miley fan, but I respect that," another user wrote. "Tiny gesture humanized her for me. Could have easily ignored the fan/hecklers, made it awkward for everyone on stage, but turned it into a singalong… probably did more for whatever movie this is than the entire interview that's going on." "That's so f---ing annoying of the fans," another wrote. "Imagine trying to do something other than singing and nobody wants to hear anything you have to say because it's not what they want to hear. But $800 for a premiere is wild."
