Olivia Rodrigo's Former No. 1 Is A Bestseller Again
Olivia Rodrigo has been sending mixed signals to her massive fan base lately when it comes to new music. In March, she shared a photo montage featuring musical instruments like keyboards and an electric guitar, hinting that she was hard at work on her next chapter. But not long afterward, in April, she posted a carousel of images from her vacation in Marrakesh, Morocco, captioning it simply: 'everywhere. but that damn studio.' That message could mean she's taking a break from creating— or that she's spent so much time in the studio recently, she's now happy to escape it. As fans continue to wait for what might be coming next from the Grammy winner, many in the United Kingdom are revisiting one of her biggest hits. They're not just streaming it, either, but buying the cut once more. Rodrigo scores a commercial win – again – with 'Vampire,' a tune that listeners in that country just can't seem to get enough of. This week, 'Vampire' reappears on two purchase-focused rankings in the U.K. It returns at No. 55 on the Official Singles Sales chart, which highlights the bestselling tunes across all genres and formats, whether digital storefronts or physical offerings. The same cut also shows up on the Official Singles Downloads tally, where it lands at No. 79. 'Vampire' has previously topped the Official Singles Sales chart, but narrowly missed ruling the downloads-only tally. Instead, it peaked in third place. The cut has now logged 46 frames on the Official Singles Downloads roster and 50 stays — just shy of a full year, a milestone it will likely reach at some point in 2025 — on the Official Singles Sales list. 'Vampire' stands as Rodrigo's longest-charting win on both of these U.K. tallies, and it continues to further its lead over her previous singles every time it returns. Her next-longest-running favorites on the lists are 'Good 4 U' and 'Driver's License,' both of which have racked up more than 30 weeks on the two rankings.

Addison Rae's Perfect Winning Streak Continues
Addison Rae has spent years as one of the most famous people on social media. She changed what TikTokers could do after becoming a superstar on the app, as she expanded her reach into film and music, with her celebrity growing so significantly that she could seemingly do anything she wanted. As she heads toward the release of her debut album, Addison, yet another track from the project has become a sizable hit in the United Kingdom. 'Headphones On' is Rae's latest single from her forthcoming full-length. The tune is a quick win in the U.K. this frame, becoming a success on both consumption- and performance-based rankings. The composition opens at No. 24 on the Official Singles chart, which is compiled based on streaming and sales activity to paint a picture of overall consumption, and that's where Rae's tune performs best. The influencer's latest cut also played well enough to reach the Official Streaming chart, coming in at No. 45 and just missing out on becoming a top 40 success on that list. It also barely breaks onto the Official Singles Downloads roster, selling what must have been a fairly small sum — just enough to become a winner on that tally. It opens at No. 98, coming in third to last on the 100-spot roster. All four of the singles Rae has released from Addison have reached the Official Singles chart. Her winning streak continues with what has turned out to be her second-highest-rising hit. 'Headphones On' follows only lead cut 'Diet Pepsi,' which climbed higher and broke into the top 10, peaking at No. 10. Follow-ups 'Aquamarine' and 'High Fashion' stalled at Nos. 45 and 69, respectively. 'Headphones On' is one of three songs by Rae to reach both the Official Streaming and Official Singles Downloads charts. It's now her second-highest-rising win on the streaming-only tally, but it still ranks as her lowest placement ever on the list of the top-selling tunes on platforms like iTunes, though just barely. It comes in one spot beneath the No. 97 peak of 'Aquamarine.' All four singles are featured on Addison, which will drop on June 6. The dance-pop project is one of the most highly anticipated of 2025, and based on the performance of the songs that have already been shared, it could become the commercial breakthrough for the TikTok powerhouse.

Miley Cyrus' New Single Reminds Fans How Much They Love Her Career-Defining Hit
Miley Cyrus' 'End of the World' debuts inside the U.K. top 10, while her former No. 1 hit 'Flowers' ... More climbs again on two purchase-only charts. MILEYS NEW YEARS EVE PARTY — Pictured: Miley Cyrus — (Photo by: Vijat Mohindra/NBC via Getty Images) Right now, all eyes and ears are on Miley Cyrus' latest single. The singer-songwriter is back with a brand new tune, and while 'End of the World' is grabbing headlines as it kicks off her Something Beautiful era, it's not the only composition from her discography that people are listening to right now. While she may be focused on what's next, one of the pop star's most famous tracks is growing in popularity again, buoyed by the exciting new release. As 'End of the World' makes its less-than-grand debut in the U.K., 'Flowers' by Cyrus is growing again. The former chart-topper is currently on the rise on not one, but two purchase-only tallies in Britain. This frame, 'Flowers' jumps six spaces to No. 70 on the Official Singles Downloads chart. At the same time, it leaps by double digits on the Official Singles Sales list, soaring to No. 72. Cyrus now claims not one, but two spots on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts. Her brand new track 'End of the World' earns a lofty start on both rosters, opening at No. 8 on each. With her latest win, the Grammy winner has now snagged 10 top 10 hits on the overall sales ranking, and 14 on the downloads-only list. Beyond the sales tallies, 'End of the World' also opens on a pair of consumption-focused charts in the U.K. — though it doesn't begin quite as high on either of them. The Something Beautiful track arrives at No. 23 on the Official Singles chart, the country's definitive ranking of the most-consumed songs each week. On the Official Streaming chart, the song fails to crack even the top half, beginning its run at No. 56. That's not a stellar debut, but it's far from a flop either — and with an album on the way and more promotion likely, it's possible that this is just the beginning for Cyrus' new era. 'Flowers' was first released in early 2023 and quickly became one of the biggest hits of Cyrus' career, spending multiple weeks at No. 1 in dozens of markets around the world. It fronted her most recent full-length Endless Summer Vacation, which earned critical acclaim and was a solid commercial success. The fact that it's still charting more than two years later – which doesn't seem likely for 'End of the World' based on this early performance – speaks to its incredibly popularity.

Bruce Springsteen Scores A New Hit As Fans Prepare For A Deluge Of Music
Bruce Springsteen earns another hit single in the United Kingdom this week, though it's a minor win for the rocker. 'Rain in the River' launches a new era for the legendary musician, though not in the way many might have expected. The tune fronts an ambitious box set, not a standard studio album, and yet it still manages to find an audience – as does pretty much everything 'The Boss' releases. 'Rain in the River' makes its first appearance on a pair of charts in the U.K. this week, though it only just barely manages to sneak onto both tallies. The new track opens at No. 96 on the Official Singles Downloads chart and lands one spot lower, at No. 97, on the Official Singles Sales list. Both rankings are compiled entirely around pure purchases, and 'Rain in the River' performs nearly identically on each. Its nearly-matching positions suggests that it was not a bestseller on physical formats, which can bring a title to different slots. Most tunes land in similar spaces, especially when they're brand new. With his new hit, Springsteen extends his track record of bestsellers in the U.K. 'Rain in the River' gives him his fifteenth placement on the Official Singles Downloads chart. The tune marks his milestone tenth appearance on the Official Singles Sales roster. 'Rain in the River' is not a standalone single. It serves as the lead cut from Springsteen's upcoming box set, Tracks II: The Lost Albums. The massive release is made up of seven full-length efforts, all of which were recorded — and in many cases, even mixed and mastered — over the years, but never officially released. Springsteen announced the expansive project earlier this year. The full box set is slated to arrive at the end of June, and it will be available in multiple formats. Fans who don't want to shell out $350 for the full collection will still have options, and it begins with this first song. While it's not a major smash, the fact that it sold well enough to chart at all is a sign that Springsteen's new collection will also likely be a winner when it arrives.

Andy Williams Charts A New Hit Song With A Half-Century-Old Track
Andy Williams lands a surprising new hit in the U.K. as his 1958 track 'House of Bamboo' charts for ... More the first time, sparked by a sync in a BBC drama. American singer Andy Williams (1927-2012) performs live on stage circa 1965. (Photo by David Redfern/Redferns) Andy Williams was one of the most recognizable voices in American pop music for decades. The crooner amassed countless fans during his heyday, and though he passed away in 2012, his music has continued to resonate, particularly during the holiday season. Thanks to his Christmas classics, he's managed to remain a chart fixture, at least for a few weeks each year. But that limited run has suddenly expanded, as a song that many had likely forgotten (or never heard at all) is now a brand new hit in the United Kingdom Williams earns a surprising pair of new wins in the United Kingdom this week, as "House of Bamboo" debuts on two charts. The decades-old track appears for the first time on the Official Singles Downloads ranking, opening at No. 58. It also reaches the Official Singles Sales tally, beginning its run there at No. 63. These placements may be modest, but they mark an incredible move for a tune released more than 65 years ago. Williams hasn't racked up a lengthy discography of hits in the U.K. on the current sales and download-based charts, which were introduced decades after his heyday. "House of Bamboo" is only his third song to reach the Official Singles Downloads list throughout his career. It's even rarer for him to appear on the Official Singles Sales tally, as prior to this week, just one of his tracks had landed there. His new arrival doubles his total. As "House of Bamboo" launches at No. 63 on the Official Singles Sales chart, Williams earns a brand new personal best on that specific ranking. His annual holiday staple "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" made it to No. 65, but never higher. That seasonal cut is still his biggest success on the Official Singles Downloads chart, where it has thus far peaked at No. 15. He also previously reached No. 87 with "The Impossible Dream (The Quest)," which spent two weeks somewhere on the downloads-only ranking. So why the sudden interest in "House of Bamboo" at this moment in time? The song's unexpected rise in the U.K. can seemingly be traced directly to one sync placement. The track is featured in the new BBC One crime drama The City Is Ours, which premiered in March and quickly became a hit. "House of Bamboo" was originally released back in 1958. It came out alongside "Hawaiian Wedding Song," one of Williams' earliest hits. That tune didn't chart in the U.K., but it was a success elsewhere, including in America, and even earned the singer a Grammy nomination.
