Addison Rae's Perfect Winning Streak Continues

Addison Rae's Perfect Winning Streak Continues

Forbes02-05-2025

Addison Rae has spent years as one of the most famous people on social media. She changed what TikTokers could do after becoming a superstar on the app, as she expanded her reach into film and music, with her celebrity growing so significantly that she could seemingly do anything she wanted.
As she heads toward the release of her debut album, Addison, yet another track from the project has become a sizable hit in the United Kingdom.
'Headphones On' is Rae's latest single from her forthcoming full-length. The tune is a quick win in the U.K. this frame, becoming a success on both consumption- and performance-based rankings.
The composition opens at No. 24 on the Official Singles chart, which is compiled based on streaming and sales activity to paint a picture of overall consumption, and that's where Rae's tune performs best.
The influencer's latest cut also played well enough to reach the Official Streaming chart, coming in at No. 45 and just missing out on becoming a top 40 success on that list. It also barely breaks onto the Official Singles Downloads roster, selling what must have been a fairly small sum — just enough to become a winner on that tally. It opens at No. 98, coming in third to last on the 100-spot roster.
All four of the singles Rae has released from Addison have reached the Official Singles chart. Her winning streak continues with what has turned out to be her second-highest-rising hit. 'Headphones On' follows only lead cut 'Diet Pepsi,' which climbed higher and broke into the top 10, peaking at No. 10. Follow-ups 'Aquamarine' and 'High Fashion' stalled at Nos. 45 and 69, respectively.
'Headphones On' is one of three songs by Rae to reach both the Official Streaming and Official Singles Downloads charts. It's now her second-highest-rising win on the streaming-only tally, but it still ranks as her lowest placement ever on the list of the top-selling tunes on platforms like iTunes, though just barely. It comes in one spot beneath the No. 97 peak of 'Aquamarine.'
All four singles are featured on Addison, which will drop on June 6. The dance-pop project is one of the most highly anticipated of 2025, and based on the performance of the songs that have already been shared, it could become the commercial breakthrough for the TikTok powerhouse.

Clumsy Kitten Napping on Dad's Guitar Is the Definition of Cuteness Overload

We've all seen countless adorable videos of babies (both human and animal) sleeping, but have you ever seen one of a kitten napping on a guitar as dad plays and sings? TikToker Elgunnasibli has been posting videos of his tiny kitten doing just that, and it's the cutest thing you'll see today. The video is a montage of clips showing all the times his 'clumsy kitten' has slept so soundly on his guitar that he slips right off it! We can't get enough of the cuteness and could watch it on repeat all day! Swoon! What an adorable kitten! Now we need to learn to play the guitar and then get a kitten! Elgunnasibili's video has racked up millions of views and has more than a thousand loved it! @Abiska Aveely got more than 25 thousand likes when they said, "The fact that one day they'll be too big to do this is so sad!" @LazyPaws added, "He knows you're always gonna catch him. That's why. He trusts you with all his life." @Jus Samanka agreed, "The dad reflex is so real!"Commenter @julianyeen asked, "I wonder if the vibrations feel like purring, so they think you're purring at them?!" We thought that was a reasonable guess but wondered if cats really enjoy music. According to PBS, not human music. "Cats, in fact, do enjoy music, but they don't enjoy human music — at least according to new research. A study recently published in the journal Applied Animal Behavior Science believes that in order for our feline friends to enjoy music, it has to be species-specific music." Species-specific music? The article went on to explain what that means. It's music "that fits into how the animal communicates, writes University of Wisconsin psychologists and study authors Megan Savage and Charles Snowdon. 'We have developed a theoretical framework that hypothesizes that in order for music to be effective with other species, it must be in the frequency range and with similar tempos to those used in natural communication by each species.' Curious to hear what cat music sounds like? You can check it out here. Clumsy Kitten Napping on Dad's Guitar Is the Definition of Cuteness Overload first appeared on PetHelpful on May 22, 2025

Beyoncé's Pants Fall Down On Cowboy Carter Tour

Last week, Beyoncé's much-anticipated Cowboy Carter tour finally stopped in London. One of her many outfit changes was a shimmery gold bodysuit with matching chaps and gold high-heeled boots, but things went horribly wrong when Beyoncé's pants became undone while performing "I'm That Girl." In a video shared to TikTok, Beyoncé is seen stomping her foot to the beat when her pants suddenly fall down. She seemed to laugh as she slowly dipped to the floor to pick them up, all while staying perfectly on beat. One of her dancers then rushed over to help her secure the pants as Beyoncé held them in place. After a few seconds, the dancer was able to get them fastened as Beyoncé moved on to the next part of the song. Like me, people were shocked and amazed by her "professionalism" and also by her "genius dancers." Honestly, I wouldn't expect anything less. You can watch the full moment here.
