Travis Kelce and Lil Wayne are famous for football and rap. But this week, both became winners in a sport most fans didn't expect — horse racing. It wasn't a game or a concert that brought them into the spotlight.
Something very different happened. And no, it's not about Taylor Swift either. On two separate tracks, in two different countries, both Travis Kelce and Lil Wayne celebrated major wins with their horses. Here's what really went down — and how both stars ended up surprising fans in the most unexpected way.
Travis Kelce's Horse Swift Delivery wins in Canada
On Saturday, June 22, 2025, Travis Kelce's horse named Swift Delivery won a big race at the Woodbine Racetrack in Ontario, Canada.
The Kansas City Chiefs star, who is 35 years old and a three-time Super Bowl winner, became a proud owner of the winning horse alongside Team Valor International.
Travis Kelce had bought a share in Swift Delivery back in August 2024. The horse is four years old, bred in Kentucky, and already had the name before Travis Kelce joined the team — so it's just a funny coincidence that it matches his girlfriend Taylor Swift's last name.
Travis Kelce had first shown interest in owning a racehorse after attending the Kentucky Derby in 2024. On his New Heights podcast, he told his brother Jason Kelce,
'I had one of the best times ever at the Derby… It would be so fun to be part of a race.'
Swift Delivery has now won three career races, and this win made Kelce's dream a reality.
Lil Wayne's Horses win back-to-back races in California
Just two days before Travis Kelce's horse won, rapper Lil Wayne, 42, had a huge moment in Los Alamitos, California.
On Thursday, June 20, 2025, his horse Sixhoofsevenhoof won its second career race.
The next day, on Friday, June 21, his other horse Punto Forty won its very first race in a maiden special weight category. Sixhoofsevenhoof was named after Lil Wayne's hit song 6 Foot 7 Foot and was bred in New York.
With two wins in two days, Lil Wayne is quickly making a name for himself in the horse racing world too.

Travis Kelce channels inner professor at Tight End University, where Taylor Swift joined the Chiefs TE for support
Travis Kelce's TEU class like a football TED Talk (Getty Images) Travis Kelce isn't just extending his legacy on the field—he's shaping the next generation of tight ends off it. The Kansas City Chiefs star returned for the fifth edition of Tight End University (TEU) in Nashville, an elite offseason training summit he co-founded alongside fellow NFL greats George Kittle and Greg Olsen. And this year, he brought more star power than ever—his girlfriend Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance, further amplifying the buzz surrounding the event. Travis Kelce stuns fans with coaching brilliance at TEU Held over three immersive days, TEU isn't just a casual gathering. It's where technique meets tradition, and where the finest in the NFL come to sharpen their craft. The program has become a staple for elite tight ends looking to level up—and Kelce has been central to that mission. Despite suffering a tough loss in Super Bowl LIX earlier this year—where he recorded just four catches for 39 yards—Kelce hasn't let the setback stall his momentum. Though retirement had been on his mind, the 35-year-old opted to return for the 2025 season, determined not to end his career on a low note. With just one year remaining on his current contract, he'll begin what might be his final NFL campaign in Brazil on September 5 against the Chargers. Yet if his performance at TEU is anything to go by, a seamless transition into coaching could be waiting. A video shared by the NFL captured Kelce diving deep into the art of route running. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Prince William & Kate Met Princess Diana's Secret Daughter. Plays Star Undo 'Us big guys, it's so hard for us to throw one foot in the ground going at 75% speed in a route to get out there,' Kelce explained to the group. 'We want to use two steps, and sometimes it takes three on the 15, 20-yard routes if you are lucky enough to run them.' The way Kelce broke down the mechanics of movement—the balance, the power, the importance of being deliberate—left fans in awe. 'I'm gonna make sure that I get to a balanced, powerful position. That instep is typically going in the direction that I want to go,' he continued. 'So really work and find that shoulder-over-toe and you can really get in and out of there precise, with a purposeful and powerful foundation.' His passion and clarity have sparked speculation among fans that he'd be an outstanding coach once his playing days conclude. Whether that comes soon or later, Kelce's dedication to the tight end craft—along with the energy he brings to mentoring—makes it clear that TEU isn't just a camp. It's a legacy in motion. And with Taylor Swift by his side during the opening night festivities at a stylish Nashville cocktail bar, Kelce showed he's equally at ease in the spotlight and the film room—a rare combination that's making TEU more impactful, and more talked about, than ever. 'I race real athletes, not YouTubers': Tyreek Hill accuses IShowSpeed of clout-chasing as Olympic race crumbles in public meltdown

Fans were eagerly anticipating the unique clash of speed and athleticism, widely hyped across social media platforms—thanks in part to viral YouTuber IShowSpeed. However, when Lyles suddenly withdrew from the race, disappointment turned to tension as Tyreek Hill seemingly blamed IShowSpeed for turning the event into a spectacle. Tyreek Hill fires shot at IShowSpeed after Noah Lyles cancels race NFL fans and track enthusiasts alike were buzzing over the idea of Hill, often called the fastest player in football, racing against Lyles, a world-class sprinter. Promoted by social media and fueled by influencer IShowSpeed's viral presence, the event had the makings of a spectacle. However, when Lyles withdrew, citing unclear reasons, the disappointment was overshadowed by Tyreek Hill's fiery social media post. 'Keep my name out of the clout chasers' mouths,' Hill posted on X. 'I race real athletes, not YouTubers tryna get views.' The post seemed squarely aimed at IShowSpeed, who had helped stir attention by tagging both athletes in videos, memes, and live commentary. Taken aback, Speed addressed Hill's jab during a live stream. Visibly emotional, he said: 'I ain't doing this for fame. I love sports, man. I thought it'd be fun for everyone. If I did too much, I'm sorry.' Speed's fans quickly jumped to his defense, pointing out that his enthusiastic coverage played a big role in generating buzz for the race. Many criticized Hill for taking aim at a content creator who genuinely appeared excited about the matchup. While influencer-athlete collaborations are more common than ever, this situation shows the tension that can arise when competitive legacy clashes with online entertainment. Hill's message made it clear he values competition over content. As for IShowSpeed, his earnest reaction won him sympathy and raised questions about whether traditional athletes underestimate the role of influencers in modern sports culture.
