CM Punk Pays Tribute to the Late Sabu on WWE Raw
The entire wrestling world was heartbroken by the news that the ECW Legend Sabu had passed away. The wrestling legend was one of the ECW Originals who paved the way for the next generation of professional wrestlers. One of the stars who was fortunate enough to learn from the Death-defying maniac was the Second City Saint, CM Punk. Last night on Monday Night Raw, the Best in the World paid tribute to the Late Sabu.
Last night's episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Louisville, Kentucky, at the KFC Yum! Center. The show kicked off with the Second City Saint addressing the WWE Universe. This marked the first time Punk addressed the WWE Universe since WrestleMania 41, the night when Paul Heyman turned on Punk and Reigns, and aligned himself with Seth 'Freakin' Rollins.

As CM Punk made his entrance, while standing on the apron, he pointed at the sky, the iconic signature pose of Sabu.
Punk then mentioned that he is upset with himself for trusting Paul Heyman despite what had happened 12 years ago. He called out The Wiseman, but Heyman did not come alone. Rollins came out and claimed that Punk is gaslighting the fans by playing the victim.
Rollins and Bron Breakker began to attack Punk. The Best in the World was saved by the World Heavyweight Champion, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. The segment came to an end with Rollins and Breakker retreating while Zayn, Uso and Punk stood tall in the ring.

As a result of this brawl, Punk and Zayn will be teaming up to take on the team of Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker at the Saturday Night's Main Event Special show.

Despite the current news of R-Truth's contract expiring, Sheamus emphasized that departures in wrestling are often not permanent. "But there's no way of knowing. You just gotta go out there and do what you can," he said of a wrestler's career. "Sometimes you can't tell when that time is. But a lot of guys come back though—that's the wrestling business."
