Why 'Love Island' Couple JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez Broke Up
JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez's breakup has everyone buzzing. The Love Island USA season 6 stars confirmed their split on their Instagram accounts this week. After coupling up on the show in 2024, Craig and Rodriguez landed in third place (behind winners Serena Page and Kordell Beckham, and runners-up Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi), and had been dating for more than a year. They are currently co-starring in the spinoff Love Island: Beyond the Villa this summer with a number of their former castmates.
A source told TMZ that they broke up on the morning of July 27, 'with Craig ultimately making the choice to end the relationship.'
That same day, fans online noticed that the former couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted all of their photos together. Page and Kateb, who are good friends with Craig, also unfollowed Rodriguez.
On July 29, Craig addressed the breakup on her Instagram Story. 'As you know, Kenny and I [are] no longer together,' she wrote. 'Please know that I have seen all the breakup theories and none have matched up to how terrible, disgusting and disappointing it truly is. Discovering that someone you loved isn't who you thought they were and that the relationship you thought you were building hasn't been genuine since day one has been truly devastating.'
Shortly after her post, Rodriguez uploaded his own Instagram story. 'Breakups are never easy, especially in the public eye,' he wrote. 'Sometimes, despite how deeply you care for someone, you come to the hard truth that the relationship was not something that could last long-term. I'll always be grateful for the time we shared and the memories we created. I release this chapter with no ill will, only a hope that JaNa's path forward brings her nothing but happiness.'
Craig instantly responded to his statement and said, 'stfu you manipulative liar' and ended with 'my first statement was me being nice. Do not piss me off.'
Kateb quickly came to her defense. She reposted Craig's story that called Rodriguez a liar and added her own comment: '@kennyrodriguez put a sock in it ChatGPT headass.' She then called him 'racist, clout and money hungry, and a scammer.' Rodriguez has not yet publicly responded to her claims or clarified what she was referring to.
Then Page chimed in. 'Let's all remember this is not a show and someone's actual feelings... Y'all already know how I'm coming behind JaNa, and TRUST so does he.'
Fans have also noticed that other castmates like Kendall Washington, Kaylor Martin, and Olivia Walker are no longer following Rodriguez and have posted messages in support of Craig. Others such as Rob Rausch and Harichi aren't following Rodriguez either.
The former couple have yet to share any additional statements, but rest assured fans are staying tuned for updates.

Explore posted the accompanying Instagram clip Friday, with the description: "Chunk the Hunk – broken jaw and all.' While his jaw remains askew, Chunk certainly appears to be gaining weight. 'Is he OK? Will he heal?' one follower wondered. Another replied, 'He's already healing, eating well and gaining weight and chasing the ladies.' The cameras also showcase the bears' interactions with one another. Chunk has not won the Fat Bear Week competition, but finished second last year to a female bear named Grazer, who also won in 2023. Sadly, one of Grazer's cubs was killed by Chunk last summer after being swept over the falls. Some Katmai fans have wondered whether it could have been Grazer who broke Chunk's jaw.

Neal McDonough wants to stick with his band of brothers in Hollywood. In fact, the actor, 59, is taking back his previous remarks that the industry turned on him for refusing to kiss his co-stars. 'We want to say thank you, Hollywood,' McDonough's wife, Ruvé Robertson, said during a joint interview with TMZ on Thursday. 'I don't like how people are saying that Hollywood turned its back on Neal. No, it didn't. YouTube is testing Instagram-style collabs
YouTube has started testing a new collaboration feature, similar to Instagram's and TikTok's. A Google employee explained on YouTube Help that it will allow creators to add collaborators to a video so that they can be recommended to each other's audiences. The test is only available to a small group of creators for now, but it sounds like YouTube has plans to expand its availability in the future. Lindsey Gamble, an influencer marketing consultant and advisor, has posted a screenshot showing how the experimental feature works on Threads. As you can see in the image Gamble posted, adding collaborators would show their names next to the creators on their channel. If there are too many, at least on mobile, the collaborators would show as "...and more" next to the creator's name. Tapping on it would bring up the list of people involved in the project, with the Subscribe button next to their name. On Instagram and TikTok, the creator who uploads the content will have to invite another account as a collaborator, who'll then have to approve the invitation. That'll most likely be the case here, as well, in order to ensure that creators don't randomly add other users to their videos. It's not clear, however, whether the collaborators can see details typically reserved for the uploader's eyes. As with any experimental YouTube and Google product, the company will be taking the testers' feedback into account before deciding if it'll give the feature a wide release. fff
