Absent WWE Star May Be Sent to Another Promotion: Report

WWE Superstar Omos could soon be making his presence felt outside of the company once again.
After a successful special run in Japan earlier this year, a new report suggests "The Nigerian Giant" may be heading to Mexico next.
According to a report from WrestleVotes, WWE has had internal discussions about sending Omos to Lucha Libre AAA. The potential move would be part of a unique strategy to build him into a global, special attraction.
The Plan To Build An Attraction
The report from WrestleVotes indicates that WWE wants to mirror the success of Omos's brief but impactful run with Pro Wrestling NOAH this past winter. The goal is to continue to build his aura and mystique outside of the weekly WWE television grind.
"WWE creative has discussed sending Omos to AAA for a run, similar to his brief NOAH stint this past winter," the report stated. "Per source, the idea is to further establish him as a true special attraction outside the WWE bubble."

A Modern Day Giant
The "special attraction" is a time-honored tradition in professional wrestling, with the most famous example being the legendary Andre the Giant.
These larger-than-life superstars are often booked sparingly to protect their mystique and are presented as unbeatable, must-see forces of nature. WWE's reported strategy with Omos seems to follow this classic booking philosophy.

Omos's WWE career has seen him in high-profile spots, including a reign as Raw Tag Team Champion with AJ Styles and major WrestleMania matches against Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar.
However, booking a superstar of his immense size on a weekly basis can be a creative challenge. Sending him on special "tours" to other promotions allows him to have dominant performances and build his reputation as a global monster.
The potential move to AAA is made possible by the current, thriving partnership between WWE and the Mexican promotion. In recent months, this "forbidden door" relationship has seen an unprecedented talent exchange.
WWE's Los Garza are the reigning AAA World Tag Team Champions, and NXT's Lola Vice recently competed on a major AAA show.
This collaboration makes the idea of a main roster WWE star like Omos appearing in AAA a very real possibility. Despite his long absence from WWE television—his last match was in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in April 2024—the company has shown its commitment to the giant.
In a recent interview, Omos confirmed that he had signed a new multi-year contract with WWE and has been training hard for his return.

WWE star Roman Reigns shuts down 6th kid rumors during hiatus
The post WWE star Roman Reigns shuts down 6th kid rumors during hiatus appeared first on ClutchPoints. Before making his epic return during Monday Night RAW on July 14, 2025, there were reports that WWE's Roman Reigns had his sixth kid while on hiatus. However, the 'Only Tribal Chief' has debunked those rumors. He took to TikTok to address the rumors. The caption of his post read, 'Five and done,' indicating he will not have another kid anytime soon. He also wrote, 'Addressing the rumors…' over the video. 'I'm done,' Reigns said. 'They [said] I was trying to catch up to Jacob [Fatu] or something? Five and done. I've done my job. I procreated. No more.' Reigns then fired back at those who called his hiatus a 'vacation.' He reassured them that he was still working when he wasn't seen in WWE. 'It wasn't a vacation! It was school 'til June, and then we started tutoring. Don't feel bad for me. Don't ever feel bad for me,' he responded. So, it does not appear those rumors are true. Reigns appears to be back in WWE for the long haul after his three-month hiatus. Expect to see a lot more of him leading into SummerSlam. How many kids does WWE Superstar Roman Reigns have? Reigns has five kids with his wife, Galina Becker. Their first daughter was born in December 2007. They then had two sets of twin boys in 2016 and 2020. His WWE career started in 2010 when he signed with their developmental brand, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Reigns previously aspired to be an NFL player, going undrafted in the 2007 NFL Draft. After brief stints with the Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars, Reigns played a season in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He debuted in WWE in 2012 as part of the Shield with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. They remained together until Rollins turned on his stablemates in 2014. Once he became a singles star, WWE never looked back with Reigns as their top star. They pushed him when the audience rejected him. After his return in 2020 after taking a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Reigns reinvented his character. He debuted the 'Tribal Chief' persona that he still uses today. During his 'Tribal Chief' run, he had a 1,316-day reign as Universal Champion. Along the way, he won the WWE Championship, unifying the titles. He eventually lost them to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. UFC legend reveals Brock Lesnar's ‘banned' WWE status
The post UFC legend reveals Brock Lesnar's 'banned' WWE status appeared first on ClutchPoints. According to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, WWE star Brock Lesnar is on the 'banned list' amid his indefinite hiatus. If this is true, this could spell the end of Lesnar's professional wrestling career. During an interview on the MIghycast podcast, Cormier debunked the idea of facing Lesnar in WWE (1:13:00 mark). He claimed Lesnar was on a 'banned list,' though he didn't specify if it was from WWE, UFC, or their parent company, TKO. 'I mean, Brock is on the banned list right now,' Cormier revealed. 'Brock got into so much trouble… I ain't telling you on-air what Brock did, [but] Brock is in so much trouble.' That makes it sound like Lesnar will not be coming back to WWE anytime soon. Whether he is 'banned' from WWE or TKO altogether, it does not look good for him. Why is WWE star Brock Lesnar on the 'banned list'? Lesnar has not been seen in WWE since August 2023. He faced Cody Rhodes in the rubber match of their feud at SummerSlam. Afterward, he raised Rhodes' arm, seemingly passing the torch to the 'American Nightmare.' While he was supposed to return at the Royal Rumble in January 2024, Lesnar was pulled from his plans. This was due to a former WWE employee, Janel Grant, filing a lawsuit against Vince McMahon. Initially, Lesnar was not specifically named in the lawsuit. However, it was heavily implied that he was involved, as McMahon tried to traffic Grant to Lesnar during his contract negotiations to return to WWE in 2021. Later, in February 2025, Lesnar was officially named in the lawsuit. WWE and TKO have continued to withhold Lesnar from returning to the ring. It is unclear if he will ever get back in the squared circle. It would almost be a surprise at this point. Since coming back to wrestling in 2021, Lesnar has predominantly been a babyface. This was a drastic change from his previous tenures, during which he usually played the heel. Lesnar feuded with Roman Reigns over the Universal Championship upon his return. Their longstanding feud culminated at the 2022 SummerSlam event. After that, he had matches with Bobby Lashley, Omos, and Rhodes. WWE star Drew McIntyre trolls SummerSlam foes with viral Coldplay meme
The post WWE star Drew McIntyre trolls SummerSlam foes with viral Coldplay meme appeared first on ClutchPoints. The hottest pop culture story has been the affair scandal at Coldplay's recent concert, and WWE star Drew McIntyre capitalized on this with a meme for his SummerSlam foes, Jelly Roll and Randy Orton. He took to social media to share a picture of Orton and Jelly Roll photoshopped into Coldplay's fancam. Orton is holding the country music singer from behind just as Andy Byron was holding Krisin Cabot. Needless to say, the post went viral. McIntyre's post has accumulated nearly five million views since it was posted on X, formerly Twitter. This caused Orton to respond with his own version of the meme. He and Jelly Roll are singing the Cardigans' 'Lovefool' in his version of the meme. Their lips move with the words. Coldplay caught an affair red-handed During Coldplay's July 16, 2025, concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Chris Martin and the band accidentally exposed a cheating couple. Astronomer CEO Byron was shown on the jumbotron while embracing his Chief People Officer, Cabot. When they were shown, Byron quickly ducked out of view. 'Either they're having an affair or they're very shy,' Martin quipped as the moment unfolded. It turns out that Byron is married to someone else. So, they were caught cheating in front of thousands of those in attendance at Coldplay's concert. Plus, the moment went viral online, with a bevy of memes spawning from it. WWE star Drew McIntyre's SummerSlam match It is nice to see the Superstars having fun before their showdown. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul will face Randy Orton and Jelly Roll in a tag team match at the 2025 SummerSlam PLE. McIntyre is one of WWE's top heels, and he is joining forces with Paul, another top bad guy. They are facing Orton, who is one of the company's most popular babyface stars. Together, the trio will have to carry Jelly Roll in his in-ring debut. The Grammy-nominated singer has been training to make his wrestling debut. He will be getting in the ring with three legends of the business. Previously, Jelly Roll made an appearance during an episode of Monday Night RAW. He also performed at the 2024 SummerSlam event. He would deliver a chokeslam to Austin Theory during a segment later in the night.
