"Five Nights At Freddy's 2" Gets New Poster
Yara Sameh
Blumhouse has dropped a new poster for the sequel to its box-office horror phenomenon "Five Nights at Freddy's".
The reveals were made Sunday night at the pop culture convention CCXP festival in Mexico City.
Based on the blockbuster game series, "Five Nights at Freddy's 2" is directed by acclaimed returning filmmaker Emma Tammi.
"Five Nights at Freddy's 2" is again produced by Jason Blum and Scott Cawthon.
The highest-grossing horror film of 2023, its sequels plot hasn't been disclosed.
Shattering expectations in 2023 with a $300M worldwide gross, "Five Night at Freddy" adapts Scott Cawthon's popular video game franchise of the same name and follows Mike (Josh Hutcherson), a troubled young man who reluctantly takes a job as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, hoping it will help him retain custody of his young sister. That fateful decision instead drags him into the black heart of a supernatural nightmare.
The film was one of several items that were unveiled at the festival Sunday including a new trailer and poster for the upcoming sequel to "The Black Phone".
Blumhouse Founder and CEO Jason Blum took the stage in Mexico City to mark the company's 15th anniversary and unveil a slate of updates, exclusive footage and surprise reveals.
James Wan, Atomic Monster CEO + Founder, was also in attendance and introduced the trailer for Blumhouse's big summer pic "M3GAN 2.0", which bows on June 27.

"Alien: Earth" Trailer Is Here
Yara Sameh FX has finally dropped the official trailer for for the sci-fi horror series "Alien: Earth," an eight-episode series serving as a prequel to Ridley Scott's 'Alien.' According to the show's synopsis, The official series logline reads: 'When the mysterious deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth, 'Wendy' (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet's greatest threat. In the year 2120, the Earth is governed by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold. In this Corporate Era, cyborgs (humans with both biological and artificial parts) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) exist alongside humans. But the game is changed when the wunderkind Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unlocks a new technological advancement: hybrids (humanoid robots infused with human consciousness). The first hybrid prototype named Wendy marks a new dawn in the race for immortality. After Weyland-Yutani's spaceship collides into Prodigy City, Wendy and the other hybrids encounter mysterious life forms more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined.' The series stars Sydney Chandler as Wendy, Alex Lawther as CJ, Timothy Olyphant as Kirsh, and Adarsh Gourav as Slightly. Other cast members include Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El. Though the world of 'Alien' is nine films strong with the release of Fede Alvarez's 'Alien: Romulus' last summer, 'Alien: Earth' marks the first time Scott's long-running sci-fi franchise is sojourning to the small screen. The first season releases on August 12, though FX boss John Landgraf told Variety he's hopeful the series will return for a second installment. 'We're pretty bullish on 'Alien: Earth' and we've told him that assuming, as we hope, 'Alien: Earth' is a returning television series,' he said. 'We want him to focus on at least writing two seasons of it.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan

Madonna to Finally Release "Ray of Light" Remix Album "Veronica Electronica": Here's When It Arrives
Yara Sameh Madonna will finally release her long-lost project 'Veronica Electronica,' featuring rare and unreleased remixes from her legendary 1998 album 'Ray of Light.' The album will also be available as part of the 'Silver Collection,' her ongoing career-spanning series of limited-edition silver vinyl reissues. The album arrives July 25 digitally and on silver vinyl, with 'Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit)' available now. It is part of the singer's 2021 deal with Warner Music that saw her catalog returning to the company that released her first albums. An eight-track companion to 'Ray of Light,' 'Veronica Electronica' was originally envisioned by Madonna as a remix album in 1998. The record was ultimately sidelined by the original album's long string of hit singles. 'Ray of Light' went on to sell more than 16 million copies worldwide and earned Madonna four Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Album. The album's title is in itself a throwback, as 'electronica' was a loosely defined late-'90s musical genre of hard-hitting electronic dance music, defined by Prodigy, Moby, Underworld, Fatboy Slim, and occasionally stretched to artists like Bjork and Daft Punk. Optimistically considered a successor to the multiplatinum 'alternative' wave, the trend, if it ever really was one, quickly petered out with the end of the decade and the millenium. 'Veronica Electronica' features newly edited versions of club remixes by Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone, along with the original demo of 'Gone, Gone, Gone' — a previously unreleased recording produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels. Track Listing: Side A 1. 'Drowned World/Substitute For Love' – BT & Sasha Bucklodge Ashram New Edit 2. 'Ray Of Light' – Sasha Twilo Mix Edit 3. 'Skin' – The Collaboration Remix Edit 4. 'Nothing Really Matters' – Club 69 Speed Mix Meets The Dub Side B 1. 'Sky Fits Heaven' – Victor Calderone Future New Edit 2. 'Frozen' – Widescreen Mix and Drums 3. 'The Power Of Good-Bye' – Fabien's Good God Mix Edit 4. Ed Sheeran Delivers Love Letter to India on New Song "Sapphire," His "Favorite" Track on Upcoming Album ‘Play'
Yara Sameh Ed Sheeran's love for India showcased on his new song 'Sapphire,' which dropped alongside an adventurous music video Thursday. On the effervescent dance track, the British pop star mixes percussion elements of traditional Indian music with his signature absurdly catchy melodies, singing about never wanting to stop dancing with a lover whose aura shimmers just like the blue diamond for which the song is named. 'We are surrounded but I can only see/ The lights, your face, your eyes/ Exploding like fireworks in the sky,' Sheeran sings on the track. Adding flair to the recording are vocals and sitar provided by Indian artist Arijit Singh, who also appears with the four-time Grammy winner in the 'Sapphire' music video. Filmed across various locations in India during Sheeran's tour through the country earlier this year, the visual keeps the English musician in the center of the frame as he walks through bustling streets, explores beaches, visits tourist spots, hangs out with locals and sings with a team of youth soccer players. His companion in those sites is often Singh, with whom Sheeran sings in Punjabi, 'ਚਮ-ਚਮ ਚਮਕੇ ਸਿਤਾਰੇ ਵਰਗੀ' — which translates to 'They sparkle just like stars,' according to YouTube's captions. ''Sapphire' was the first song I finished for Play that made me know where the album was heading,' wrote the 'A Team' singer in a statement, referring to his September-slated LP. 'It's why I finished the recording process in Goa surrounded by some of the best musicians in India.' 'The final jigsaw piece for me was getting Arijit on the record,' he added. 'Me and him have done a full Punjabi version of the song that will come out in the next few weeks, which has a lot more of him on it. This is the album version of the song, and my favorite song on the album. Hope you guys love it.' 'Sapphire' follows previous Play singles 'Azizam' and 'Old Phone,' the latter of which dropped at the beginning of May. Arriving September 12, the new album will serve as the first in Sheeran's next series of LPs, marking a departure from his yearslong mathematics-themed saga. 'Play was an album that was made as a direct response to the darkest period of my life,' he recently wrote on Instagram. 'Coming out of all of that I just wanted to create joy and technicolor, and explore cultures in the countries I was touring. It's a real rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish, it encapsulates everything that I love about music, and the fun in it, but also where I am in life as a human, a partner, a father.'
