Mekhi Becton back at practice for Chargers
Reporters at the team's practice shared images of right guard Mekhi Becton in uniform and on the field with his teammates. Becton had missed the last several weeks of practice with an undisclosed injury and there was little indication from the team's coaches about when he'd back.
The timing of Becton's return bodes well for the likelihood that he'll be in the lineup in Brazil against the Chiefs on the first Friday of the regular season. The Chargers signed Becton to a two-year contract after he started for the Eagles in their Super Bowl win over Kansas City.
Assuming Becton is good to go, the only change to the Chargers' desired starting line will be the absence of left tackle Rashawn Slater. Slater is out for the season with a knee injury, so Joe Alt is moving over from right tackle and Trey Pipkins is in line to start next to Becton.

Worthy certainly proved to be a solid addition to the Kansas City offense in his rookie year, totaling 742 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns on 79 touches – also proving to be someone that rose to the occasion in the postseason. Heading into his second season, the former Texas star will look to build off an impressive rookie year. Turns out, he'll be doing it with one of the world's biggest celebrities in his corner.

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald cancelled practice on Monday to take the squad on a team-bonding trip to Topgolf before a busy final week of preseason. And when the physicality is on display as it was in Friday's win over the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, it leaves little doubt that Seattle's pads are warmed up and ready to pop hard against the 49ers in 19 days as well.
