The internet is obsessed with Jack Draper at Wimbledon - A deep dive on his age, relationship status and more

Cosmopolitan3 days ago
Jack Draper is set to hit the tennis courts at Wimbledon today (Thursday 3rd July) to face former US Open champion Marin Čilić.
It's set to be a high-impact second-round showdown, with lots at stake for both Jack and Marin, who nearly won the whole thing back in 2017.
Known for his powerful left-handed shots and cool confidence on court, Jack has the full support of the home crowd behind him. He's never made it past this stage at Wimbledon before, but this year could be different...
As he takes to the court, read on for everything you need to know about Jack, including whether he's in a relationship and his life off the court, which includes modelling with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Jack Draper is a left-handed British tennis player, currently ranked as Britain's No. 1 and world No. 4 in the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) rankings.
He went pro in 2018 and has won three ATP Tour titles so far, including the prestigious Masters 1000 Indian Wells in March 2025, and reached the US Open semi‑final in 2024.
Jack Draper is 23-years-old. He was born in Sutton, Surrey, on 22nd December 2001, which makes him a Capricorn.
He grew up surrounded by tennis - his mum Nicky was a junior British champ and coached him from the age of six.
Jack's brother, Ben Draper, also played tennis, but now works as Jack's agent. Similarly, Jack's grandmother, great-uncle, mother, and dad have all played tennis at serious levels.
Jack is 6ft 4in, and is known for his seriously powerful left‑hand serve (clocked at around 138 mph) and aggressive baseline game.
In an interview, Jack revealed the diet changes he made to improve his performance, saying: "I used to take a lot of caffeine before I played, because I felt maybe sometimes with my emotions, I would feel tired before I played. The anxiety would shut me down, so my way of dealing with it was taking on a hell of a lot of caffeine.
"But I learnt that probably wasn't the best situation because I ended up becoming very wired and agitated, and I wasn't able to be present and focus on what is important. I think it was probably best that I cut it out of my life."
In a March 2025 interview with Vogue, Jack confirmed that he's single, saying the intense demands of his tennis career leave little time for relationships, although he does enjoy going on dates...
In a previous interview, he said of his professional career: "I had to be a bit more lonely and make sure I'm doing all the right things for my warm-ups, my cooldowns, keeping my body fresh, my ice baths, my gym sessions. Since last year, I've definitely put my head down a lot more and just focused on myself and what's important to me.
"It's sometimes a bit of a lonely existence, being a top tennis player. You have just got to make many sacrifices."
He sure is.
You can follow him at @jackdraper where he has just over 450k followers (as of July 2025).
Away from tennis, Jack has revealed that he wants to learn about investing his money. He's not really into partying and prefers to spend time with friends and family.
He owns a a three-bedroom apartment in southwest London, which he shares with his brother Ben and friend Jubb who he's known since junior tournaments.
In April, Jack became Burberry's new brand ambassador, posing alongside Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the High Summer season campaign.

Arsenal signs Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad

LONDON (AP) — Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi joined Arsenal from Real Sociedad on Sunday, finally making the move to the Premier League after turning down Liverpool last year. The transfer fee wasn't disclosed but the BBC reported Arsenal has paid almost 60 million pounds ($82 million) for the 26-year-old Zubimendi. The holding midfielder made 236 appearances in all competitions for Sociedad after coming through the club's academy. He played there alongside Mikel Merino, who joined Arsenal last year. Zubimendi has played 19 games for Spain, including coming on as a half-time substitute in the 2-1 win over England in the 2024 European Championship final. 'I set my sights on Arsenal because their style of play is a good fit for me," Zubimendi said. "They have shown their potential recently and the best is yet to come.' Arsenal has finished second in the Premier League in each of the past three seasons. 'Martin is a player who will bring a huge amount of quality and football intelligence to our team," said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, a fellow Spaniard. 'He will fit in really well and he has all the attributes to be a key player for us.' Zubimendi slots into the squad in place of Thomas Partey, whose contract expired this summer.
