Adele Roberts is facing more health woes, over four years since she was diagnosed with bowel cancer.
The former BBC Radio 1 DJ underwent intense treatment in October 2021, including chemotherapy and having a stoma fitted.
In June 2022, the overjoyed I'm A Celebrity star confirmed she had been given the all-clear.
However, fast forward to now, and she's still encountering obstacles.
Adele, 46, frequently shares candid updates with her followers, the latest being that her iron count is low.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Adele shared a selfie from the hospital, sitting alongside her supportive, long-term partner, Kate Holderness.
She wrote: 'Having a blood test today for my anaemia. Hopefully this one will go well and I can get more medication.'
Crossing her fingers in the pic, she added: 'We're not sure why my iron count is low… either damage to my blood from chemo or due to having a stoma.
'Without my medication I have no energy. I'm not running at the moment and I'm so tired all the time.'
'Hopefully I'll get some more medicine once my GP has seen today's results… otherwise I'm going to be consistently falling asleep until I die,' she joked.
In a second post, after arriving home, Adele showed the plasters on her arms after the doctor had to try both to get the blood.
Adele then explained in a video that she's also facing issues with her teeth.
'OK, the next step of today's 'I've got no iron' problems…' so, in my book, if you remember, I got rejected from Dancing On Ice,' she began.
'I got rejected quite a few times, but the year before I got on, I got rejected because I casually mentioned to the doctor who gives you checks to check that you're fit enough to go on the show that I was crushing ice all the time with my teeth. I used to, like, munch it all the time.
'And he worked out that I probably had a problem with iron in my blood, so they sent me for a blood test, and then it came back that I had anaemia, and they were like, yeah, you can't be on the show.'
Adele, who recently broke a world record for her marathon running, added: 'So, long story, that's how I ended up doing the marathon, actually, after Dancing On Ice, just to help myself get better. But it's also the reason why all my teeth are battered as well and damaged, so not only did chemotherapy weaken my teeth, you can't go to the dentist when you're on chemotherapy because of the effect it has on your blood, I also smashed them all up with ice. So now I'm having to fix it!'
Adele shared that she's currently in the process of having her 'smile' and 'fillings' sorted, noting that she 'used to eat a lot of sweeties' so her teeth were already 'damaged' before chemo 'finished them off'.
She's now having two teeth taken out, having sought advice from her girlfriend's dentist.

Finally, Adele shared that the medication she is on for her iron deficiency is Ferrous Fumarate, which she gets on prescription. More Trending
The broadcaster and 2024 Dancing On Ice star has spoken at length about the side effects of her cancer treatment, including how chemo took off her fingerprints and turned her tongue black.
Last month, she ran the London Marathon in aid of Cancer Research, having already taken part three previous times.
Adele was aiming to beat the current record by completing all seven major marathons in less than 24 hours, which includes races in not only London but also Tokyo, Boston, Sydney, Berlin, Chicago, and New York.
Having alredy set the world record for the fastest time a female completed the race with a stoma bag, this year, she smashed another, saying after crossing the finish line: 'I hope [the world record] sends a message to anyone living with cancer or who has a stoma that we can achieve anything and our bodies are brilliant.'

SXSW London: Everything you can expect from festival's inaugural week

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Up Next Previous Page Next Page 'London – I think it's the greatest city on Earth'. Those are the words of SXSW London CEO Max Alexander as one of the world's biggest festivals finally rolls into down today. Famed for its eclectic mix of music acts, film showcases, A-list appearances, and industry networking, SXSW makes its way from Austin, Texas, to the Capital for a feast of innovative talks, live performances, and film premieres until Saturday. SXSW has grown into one of the world's most recognisable and vital creative industry festivals since launching in 1987. This year, more than 25 venues across Shoreditch in east London will host events including talks from Idris Elba, Katherine Ryan, Cesc Fabregas, Ian Wright, and Sophie Turner, and live music from Erykah Badu, Mabel, Alice Glass, and Pa Salieu, among a diverse mix of emerging and established talent. Fans can buy a variety of passes tailored around what they want to see across conference, music and film – or an individual music wristband to catch some of the 500 live performances over the week. SXSW CEO Max Alexander told Metro this inaugural festival will be a 'love letter to London' (Picture: SXSW London) Organisers hope the inaugural week will cement a legacy across London by supporting charity initiatives, shine a light on the city's grassroots venues, and represent important issues among the community through the newly launched SXSW London Advisory Council. Find out more about London's grassroots venues here DICE's 25 grassroots artists to see in 2025 Ticketing app DICE has put together a list of their 25 grassroots artists you need to see in London over the next six months. With tickets ranging from free to £27.50, these shows will ensure a great night to suit all tastes and budgets. Click HERE to catch the full list. One of SXSW's annual standout events is UK House, which showcases British innovation, creativity and technology through talks and immersive experiences. It also features live performances from the UK's best rising talent thanks to the British Music Embassy – a key partner of the Department for Business and Trade. The showcase has become a staple of SXSW and helped launch international careers of Sam Fender, The 1975, Little Simz, and many more. And this year it's coming to London's Devonshire Square. 'I am proud that our UK House at SXSW London will reflect our position as a truly global destination for business. 'With creative industries being identified as a key growth sector in our upcoming modern Industrial Strategy, we're not only helping to attract and secure investment, but delivering long-term growth that supports skilled jobs and raises living standards across the UK, backing our Plan for Change.' Max Alexander, who was also CEO of Secret Cinema, told Metro: 'SXSW's ambition is to become part of the cultural fabric of London. 'It's a love letter to London, but being incredibly respectful for what London already is, which is just a profound nexus of culture, business, creativity, ideas, technology, finance, and philosophy. 'We want to help amplify for London, for Britain, and indeed for Europe, technologies, business models, art forms, and music creatives, and give people a really explicit platform for presentation, discovery and investigation. Mayor Sadiq Khan on SXSW London Mayor of London Sadiq Khan poses next to the London Music Grassroots Venue Tube Map, supported by Metro (Picture: Belinda Jiao) I was lucky to be a part of SXSW in Austin in 2018, and I saw first-hand the electric atmosphere of innovation that the festival creates. From helping to shape the future of tech and AI, to providing a platform for major new artists, SXSW London is a significant opportunity to generate new ideas, promote our capital and help inspire the next generation. This week the creative eyes of the world will be on London as our capital becomes the first European city to ever host SXSW. Leaders from the tech, media, gaming and creative industries are descending on Shoreditch in East London as the world-renowned Texas festival comes to our capital. Across 34 venues there will be hundreds of talks, live music, and film and TV screenings, as some of the world's most exciting talent come together. It's a great addition to our cultural calendar and another boost to our creative industries. These vital industries generate more than £63bn for the UK economy, having significantly surpassed pre-pandemic levels. They help define how London is perceived around the world, and provide young people with positive opportunities and access to training and jobs. SXSW is also the start of the biggest ever month for business and investment in London, with the Concordia Europe Summit, London Tech Week and London Climate Action Week all taking place in June. This series of major business events will attract thousands of dealmakers, investors, CEOs, entrepreneurs, innovators and creatives from all over the world, demonstrating that London is truly the best city for creativity, talent and business in the world. Photographer Misan Harriman premieres his new film Shoot the People at SXSW London Globally renowned photographer and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Misan Harriman will be premiering his new film Shoot the People at the festival on Tuesday (June 3) before taking part in a UK House panel named Storytelling as a Force for Change on Wednesday (June 4). He told Metro: 'Shoot the People is a feature-length documentary on what it means to be an artist that refuses to look away in the age of apathy, what it means to document protest movements and how important protest is in our age and I can't wait to share that with the world. 'We added two extra screenings as all the seats sold out within 24 hours so a lot of people are excited to see this film because they have also been on a journey of understanding that their voice matters. 'We are the change that we are looking for – if there are things you are unhappy about maybe your whisper is actually a roar when you realise there is a community of thousands, if not millions, that are also whispering about something. And that's what this film is about.' SXSW has become one of the world's biggest industry festivals in the world since launching in Austin, Texas, in 1987 (Picture: Tina Rataj) This Morning's Rochelle Humes, a former member of The Saturdays, will be hosting her Ladies Who Launch Lunch that celebrates the podcast at UK House on Tuesday (June 3). 'I'm really excited that we're going to have a presence there', she told Metro. 'I'm so passionate about connecting women in business, and that's the very reason that the podcast exists. 'It's quite quickly built a community organically. I know that's such a buzz word now, but actually, that's what I love. We hosted a walk the other day that saw lots of female founders to go on a walk together – it's so nice to see women connecting in that way. 'I'm a fragrance expert - book boyfriends would wear these scents'

Fragrence expert shares what book lovers' favourite male characters would smell like - some might surprise you My friends often tease me for having two very specific interests: books and perfumes. So when a conversation came up about what 'book boyfriends' smell like, I knew it was time to put my niche interests to the test. I know I'm not the only one who has flicked through pages of the latest BookTok trending novel and thought the guys smell pretty good, so I decided to track down what some of the biggest book boyfriends smell like. I even headed to my Instagram and asked everyone there for their favourite book boyfriends so I wouldn't miss any. So I've headed to my library and searched for just how our favourite book boyfriends smell and matched it up with fragrances so your real life boyfriend, or partner, can smell just like them. Now there are some missing here, with either there being no description in the books what he smells like or there not being anything on the market that I could find to fit the bill. He's not in the official list below but Shatter Me's Aaron Warner would probably wear a basic gardenia body spray because that's what he smells like during that first kiss. Rhysand - A Court of Thorns and Roses series Arguably he's BookTok's favourite boyfriend and for someone we've seen lovingly called a 'shadow daddy' online he seems to have a very fresh and light smell. In Chapter 48 of A Court of Mist and Fire, just before things heat up, is the line: "He tangled his legs with mine, and then a heavier, warmer darkness settled over us, smelling of citrus and the sea." From this it seems fair to assume that this is what Rhysand smells like and luckily there's a scent out there that seems like a dead ringer. Wood Sage and Sea Salt by Jo Malone London is a blend of sea salt, seaweed and grapefruit (while this isn't necessarily the first citrus fruit that springs to mind it is undeniably a citrus fruit). There is also a touch of wood there but in my opinion that's needed to round it out to a well balanced fragrance. Jo Malone London scents are expensive, a full sized bottle costs £118 but for those just wanting to trial it 9ml bottles exist for £18. Fortunately Jo Malone London also releases most of their scents in a candle and that means it's possible to have your house smell just like Rhysand while you're reading about him, although the candle is £56 for a 45 hour burn time. Xaden Riorson - Empyrean series Now if anyone could dethrone the Lord of the Night Court, it's the guy with the dragon. In Chapter 10 of Fourth Wing, towards the end, Violet and Xaden are facing off when he comes close enough for her to smell him. The key line reads: "His ominous tone is at odds with his gentle grasp, and sh*t, does he have to smell so good? Like mint and leather and something I can't quite identify, something that borders between citrus and floral." Now Violet can't identify it when it's right in front of her but I did my best to find something that fits the bill. I was surprised by which scent won overall. For me it's a choice between Eros by Versace (from £55) and Rabanne's 1 Million (from £66) - but 1 Million just edges Eros out for me. Both of them include citrus fruits, a slight floral and the necessary mint and leather but Eros notably has candy apple in there while 1 Million has cinnamon and 'spicy notes'. It feels safe to say Xaden leans more spicy. Miles Nowak - Funny Story Emily Henry is one of the biggest names in contemporary romance and for good reason. Her books are filled with men that are easy to fall in love with but our favourite has to be Miles. In Chapter 4, Miles Nowak is ushering a very tipsy Daphne home and explaining how he thinks fellow bartenders can smell that he's one of them. Notably the book reads: "Does it smell like gingersnaps?' The slur in my voice has worsened as we climbed the stairs. Miles stops outside our front door, laughter gurgling out of him. 'Gingersnaps?' That's what he smells like. Sweet and a little spicy. A natural earthy smell folded into a sugary baked good." While I love a smoky blend on men as much as the next girl, it's the sweet scent of sugary baked goods that hold my heart so I was thrilled with Miles taste in scents. Now there was an obvious choice for this, and Jo Malone London if you're reading this we are begging you to bring it back, the limited edition Ginger Biscuit would've been an outright winner. However it currently is out of stock everywhere online and I'm not sending anyone to fight for the few remaining bottles on eBay. Serge Lutens Five o'clock au Gingembre is supposed to smell like a slightly more complex take on Ginger Biscuit and is currently reduced on LookFantastic but even reduced is still £115.20 for a 50ml bottle. There is a more budget friendly option on the market, Ginger Babe from Aroma Concepts which is currently £24 on Amazon. There aren't many reviews on Amazon but on TikTok and fragrance forums there's a lot of buzz about it. Alex Claremont-Diaz - Red, White and Royal Blue Seeing him played by Taylor Zakhar Perez definitely hasn't hurt the internet's love of Alex Claremont-Diaz, the First Son of the United States in the feelgood romance. The film has actually done us a solid, as it doesn't strictly say in the book what he smells like, but in the hospital scene of the film (about 15 minutes in) Prince Henry comments on Alex's signature scent: " Santal 33? Makes sense." The Le Labo scent is quite pricey, with the cheapest price we've found for it being £74 for a 15ml bottle, but we've got to agree with Prince Henry. It makes sense. Haymitch Abernathy - The Hunger Games series Now in the past I wouldn't have thought of Haymitch and a book boyfriend in the same sentence, but with the release of Sunrise on the Reaping and the upcoming film. We are all kind of loving him at the moment. I've not found any lines in the book that outright say what he smells like but it seems fair to assume he would smell like wood smoke and alcohol. Even before he took up drinking he worked with booze and I don't think I need to elaborate on smoke. Jazz Club from Maison Margiela seems like a solid match for him, even if it probably comes more naturally than spraying it on. It's a blend of rum, tobacco leaf and some spices that I could see him wearing and at £62 for a 30ml bottle it's one of the more affordable scents in this list. Now I think a better fit, with his humble beginnings and 'District 12 White Liquor', might be Vodka on the Rocks by Kilian. It's fresh with some spices, wood and notably oak moss in the composition. It is also £225 though, so I'll keep to picturing Jazz Club.

JoJo Siwa says Chris Hughes feels like family and her mother ‘adores' him

The two met in the ITV1 Celebrity Big Brother house, growing close during their time on the reality show, claiming their relationship was 'platonic'. Since leaving the house, they have been seen together and recently shared photographs of them together on Instagram, suggesting they are in a relationship. A post shared by JoJo Siwa (@itsjojosiwa) Siwa, 22, told Channel 4's Sunday Brunch: 'She (Siwa's mother) does love him. My parents think the absolute world of him and him and my dad are like best friends. 'Chris was actually telling me that yesterday they went to the spa together. They're literally best friends. 'Mum, she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us because I've never seen my mum so happy. 'It feels like we're a family. It feels like he's been in my family for however many years. It feels like they just all get along as well as I do. 'I think there will definitely be a lot more time spent here, and I think from him as well, a lot more time spent over there, but we both have families, you know, on either end.' The 22-year old singer is known for her songs Karma and Guilty Pleasure, which she released in 2024, while sports presenter Hughes, 32, appeared on the third season of the ITV reality TV series Love Island. Speaking about her decision to join Celebrity Big Brother, she said: 'I didn't even question a yes or no. I knew it wasn't even a question. It was an immediate yes. 'I think for me, growing up on reality TV, it almost feels like a little bit of home to me, and it just feels like it's just fun. 'And right before I went in, I told my mom, I was like, I think this is gonna be the best thing I've ever done. And she's like, what do you mean? And I was like, I don't know, something tells me, like for my personal, like for my life, it feels like it's gonna be the best thing I've ever done and by a landslide it has been. 'Being on Big Brother you're captured 24/7 so for people to just get to see the real me was something that I wasn't sure how to share, essentially on my own, I guess I wasn't brave enough to share it.' The Celebrity Big Brother final saw Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd crowned the winner. Siwa placed third on the ITV1 reality show while Hughes came sixth.
