WWE Saturday Night's Main Event results: John Cena beat R-Truth in a singles match at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event after resorting to unfair means. The contest, however, was not as one-sided as many had expected. R-Truth, in fact, got in plenty of offence and even took the Cenation Leader by surprise when he used his own moves against him.

R-Truth surprised the whole WWE Universe by surprise when he made his way to the ring dressed as John Cena, his 'childhood hero'. He even asked to be introduced as 'Ron Cena'. The match started off on a strong note with John Cena assaulting the 53-year-old. Truth soon turned the tables and even locked Cena in the STF.

Cena finally resorted to underhanded tactics as he tried to use the belt on Truth. However, the official stopped him and removed the title. Sadly for Truth, this gave Cena the chance to hit him with a low blow and an AA to get the win.
Here's how the feud started?
R-Truth, who considered Cena to be his idol, interfered in the soon-to-retire legend's match against Randy Orton at WWE Backlash and received an RKO for his actions. Cena later put Truth through a table, setting the stage for this match. This week on SmackDown, Truth vowed to beat some sense into 'The Franchise Player', adding a new layer to the rivalry.

IPL 2025 final: RCB and Kohli's 18-year wait meets Punjab's fire as league awaits a new champion

Eighteen seasons. No title. For Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bengaluru , the wait has been long, emotional, and often cruel. On Tuesday night, they get another shot at redemption, this time against a determined Punjab Kings side led by Shreyas Iyer , in what will be a historic IPL final where a first-time champion is guaranteed. The grand finale at the Narendra Modi Stadium won't just be about who lifts the trophy, it could also be Kohli's final outing for a while. Having stepped away from Test cricket and with India's next white-ball assignment months away, fans are expected to flood the stands in their No.18 jerseys, hoping to see their hero finish the season with silverware. RCB have reached the final thrice before, in 2009, 2011 and 2016, only to fall short. But this season, they've looked like a team with purpose. From a dominant league stage to a ruthless eight-wicket win over Punjab in Qualifier 1, they've finally found the balance that eluded them for years. Phil Salt's explosive starts, Rajat Patidar's consistency, and the contributions of Mayank Agarwal and Jitesh Sharma have given RCB the depth they previously lacked. Whether Tim David returns to bolster the finishing alongside Romario Shepherd remains to be seen. Live Events Josh Hazlewood has anchored the bowling attack with typical calm, picking up 21 wickets and emerging as the tournament's fourth-highest wicket-taker. He'll be key again on a surface that's offered some assistance to the pacers under lights. Punjab Kings, meanwhile, have staged one of the most remarkable turnarounds in IPL history. Perennial underachievers, they've come alive this season under Iyer and coach Ricky Ponting, finishing second in the league and booking a place in their first final in 11 years. After being thrashed by RCB in the first qualifier, they responded in style, knocking out five-time champions Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2 with a clinical performance. Iyer, who has now taken Delhi, Kolkata, and Punjab to IPL finals, has amassed 603 runs and proved once again why he's one of the most effective leaders in T20 cricket. Yuzvendra Chahal, not fully fit, will be under the scanner as he takes on his former side. But Punjab will bank on collective grit over individual brilliance. With no rain in the forecast and a reserve day and extra time in place, the stage is set for a full contest. One team will finally shed the 'never-won-it' tag. For Kohli and Iyer , it's not just about history, it's personal. Preity Zinta is a happy team owner as Punjab Kings beat Mumbai Indians by five wickets on Sunday to qualify for the finals of the Indian Premier League. The actor-entrepreneur was seen jumping with joy and celebrating the victory with Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer on the cricket field. In a video gone viral on social media, Preity can be seen clapping and jumping with joy in the cricket stands as Punjab Kings clinched victory against Mumbai Indians in the second qualifier. She looked radiant in an-all white salwar suit and dupatta. In what's being called 'picture of the day,' Preity is seen smiling and posing with Shreyas Iyer on the field after the match. Thanks to the win on Sunday, Preity's team Punjab Kings will now square off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL finals at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday. Last week, Punjab Kings lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first qualifier, which paved the way for the latter to secure a spot in the finals. Pictures of Kohli's wife and actor Anushka Sharma celebrating and Preity Zinta looking sad flooded social media. Given the two teams will go up against each other in the finals again, similar visuals are expected to surface all over social media again. Earlier in the tournament, Preity and Kohli were seen showing each other the pictures of their kids on each other's phones. Preity, married to American financial analyst Gene Goodenough, has two twins — Jai and Gia — born via surrogacy in 2021. Meanwhile, Kohli and Anushka, who married in 2017, have two kids too — daughter Vamika and son Akaay. They keep shuttling between India and London. Anushka's last film as an actor was Aanand L Rai's 2018 romantic drama Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Preity Zinta's Jersey Surprise For Cheering Fans Feels Like A Match-Winning Six

Last Updated: Preity Zinta is one of the co-owners of the Indian Premier League cricket team Punjab Kings alongside Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia and Karan Paul. When it comes to winning hearts off the field, Preity Zinta is clearly an all-rounder. The actress, who is one of the co-owners of the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team Punjab Kings alongside Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia and Karan Paul, recently gave her fans a moment they won't forget. During one of the team's matches, Preity surprised the crowd by personally distributing the team's jerseys to the fans cheering for Punjab Kings at the stadium. A video of the event shows Preity tossing the jerseys towards the fans on every side to make sure no one misses out on grabbing one. Before she left, Preity sealed the moment with a sweet flying kiss to her fans. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Viral Bhayani (@viralbhayani) Though she was busy spreading joy in the stands, Preity didn't hold back when it came to speaking up for her team after a loss. Punjab Kings faced Delhi Capitals but lost the game by six wickets which brought a big blow to their chances of qualifying in the top two. The defeat came after a controversial decision by the third umpire that went against Punjab Kings. The moment came in the 15th over of Punjab Kings' innings. On the last ball, Shashank Singh hit a powerful shot that went over the boundary which looked like a six. The crowd and players seemed convinced it was a clear maximum. Moreover, Karun Nair, who was fielding right near the boundary rope, signalled that the ball had crossed the fence after trying to stop it. But when the third umpire reviewed the footage, he found no clear evidence that Nair's foot had touched or crossed the boundary line during his catch attempt. Due to this, the shot was not counted as a six. Instead, Punjab Kings were awarded just a single run. Replying to a fan's tweet on X, Preity revealed that she had spoken to Karun Nair who said that the ball had clearly crossed the boundary fence. 'In such a high profile tournament with so much technology at the Third Umpire's disposal such mistakes are unacceptable & simply shouldn't happen. I spoke To Karun after the game & he confirmed it was DEFINITELY a 6 ! I rest my case ! #PBKSvsDC #IPL2025," she wrote. It will mark her comeback after being away from films for a while. First Published:
