Hawkeye Report's Kyle Huesmann broke the news that recent Hawkeye offer Madi Mignery would be taking an unofficial visit to Iowa on June 17.
Iowa offered Mignery on May 29. The 6-foot small forward is ranked as a four-star prospect per 247Sports. According to 247Sports, Mignery is the nation's No. 24 player in the 2027 class, the No. 7 small forward and the top player from the state of Florida.
ESPN also ranks Mignery as a four-star recruit. Per ESPN, Mignery is the nation's No. 33 player overall.
A product of Cardinal Mooney, Mignery averaged 16.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game on 56% shooting from the floor, 36% from 3-point territory, and 77% from the free-throw line during her sophomore season.

2026 4-star safety out of Arlington (TX) will announce commitment on Wednesday
2026 4-star safety out of Arlington (TX) will announce commitment on Wednesday Texas A&M is yet again a finalist for another rising prospect in the 2026 recruiting cycle, as four-star safety Chance Collins is down to four programs, including Texas A&M, Utah, Texas Tech, and West Virginia, who are all anticipating his decision, which will come down on Wednesday, June 11. Any time a defensive back prospect heavily considers the Aggies, it's fair to remember that the coach Mike Elko and defensive back coaches Jordan Peterson and Ishmael Aristide are three of the top cornerback and safety recruiters in the country, including Elko's long development track going back to his defensive coordinator days at Bowling Green, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M. Collins will take an official visit to Texas A&M on June 20, a month after his official visit to Utah on May 30. This is good news for the Aggies, who will be the final stop for Collins this summer, a solid sign for the team in the lead. During his 2024 junior season, Collins showed off his versatility after recording 20 tackles, two tackles for loss, six interceptions, and eight pass breakups. On offense, Collins caught 16 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns. The Mansfield Timberview incoming senior is also a noted track star, which also plays in Texas A&M's favor, given the program's elite status. According to 247Sports, Collins is currently positioned as the 35th-ranked safety and the 56th-ranked prospect in Texas. ESPN names Black 41 Flash Reverse Pass one of the top 25 plays in football since 2000
ESPN names Black 41 Flash Reverse Pass one of the top 25 plays in football since 2000 One of the more famous plays in the history of Nebraska football was recently named one of college football's greatest moments of the last two decades. ESPN ranked college football's top 25 plays since 2000, and at No. 21 on the list was "Black 41 Flash Reverse Pass" from the Huskers' 20-10 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners on Oct. 27, 2001. Eight ESPN writers and two editors nominated fifty-one plays, and that list was whittled down to 25 plays. The eight writers then ranked the moments from 1 to 25, with 25 points awarded for the top play, 24 for second place, and so on, until play No. 25. With the No. 3-ranked Cornhuskers leading the No. 2-ranked Sooners 13-10 in the fourth quarter and the ball at its own 37-yard line, head coach Frank Solich called Black 41 Flash Reverse Pass. ESPN described the play in detail. "His heroics mostly came from running the option, but on this play against Oklahoma, Crouch handed off the ball, peeled out into the flat and up the field as a receiver. The original ball carrier, Thunder Collins, handed it to Mike Stuntz on a reverse, and he hit Crouch sprinting down the sideline for a 63-yard touchdown." Nebraska would go on to win the game 20-10, and Eric Crouch would win the Heisman Trophy in one of the closest votes in the award's history. Crouch beat Florida sophomore quarterback Rex Grossman 770 points to 708 votes. Crouch's 770 points are the fewest by a Heisman winner since Terry Baker won the award in 1962 with 707 points. Joining Crouch and Grossman at the Downtown Athletic Club that year were Miami quarterback Ken Dorsey and Oregon quarterback Joey Harrington. Watch the famous play below.
