What channel is Clemson baseball vs California on today? Time, TV schedule
Quite a lot has changed in college sports since the Clemson Tigers last visited the state of California for a college baseball game.
Clemson baseball is making its first appearance in the Golden State since 2015. That was when the Tigers fell to Pepperdine in an NCAA Tournament regional hosted by Cal State Fullerton.
Fast-forward 10 years later and Clemson is taking on the California Golden Bears in a weekend series in Berkeley -- in ACC play. Welcome back to the crazy world of conference realignment, in case you needed another reminder.
The Tigers (27-5 overall, 6-3 ACC) are hoping to continue a strong showing in ACC action against an unranked Bears (16-12) team. Clemson, ranked No. 7 in this week's USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, is coming off a 10-8 victory over Georgia Southern in midweek play on Tuesday.
Josh Paino, a California native who transferred to Clemson from Cal Baptist last summer, drove in three runs with a three-run triple in the eighth inning as part of a 2-for-4 night. Collin Priest (1-for-4) and Tryston McCladdie (1-for-2, three walks) also had two RBIs in the win over Georgia Southern.
California fell to 6-6 in conference play after dropping two of three at No. 18 Louisville last weekend. The Golden Bears defeated Sacramento State 6-5 in midweek play on Tuesday.
Here's how to watch every game of this weekend's Clemson vs. California baseball series out in Berkeley, including first pitch times, TV channel and streaming information.

Iowa baseball star earns Perfect Game All-American honors

Iowa baseball star earns Perfect Game All-American honors After a stellar junior campaign with the Hawkeyes, Iowa baseball ace pitcher Cade Obermueller has been named a Perfect Game third-team All-American. The left-hander is the Hawkeyes' first All-American honoree since Brody Brecht and Keaton Anthony earned it in 2023. The Iowa City, Iowa native earned the third-team All-America distinction after going 5-3 with a 3.02 ERA in 15 starts. He posted five quality starts and fanned 117 batters over 83.1 innings. His 117 punchouts rank second all-time in program history for strikeouts in a season. The highlight of Obermueller's 2024-25 season was his complete-game performance at Northwestern on March 4. In that game, he recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts while giving up only one hit, one run, and one base-on-balls in a 12-1 Hawkeyes run-rule win. Obermueller's third-team All-American honors add to his growing list of accomplishments from the past season, which now includes a 2025 All-Big Ten Tournament team and an ABCA/Rawlings NCAA All-Midwest Region first-team selection. While Obermueller could be in line for more honors following the conclusion of the 2025 College World Series later this month, a potential return for his senior season with the Hawkeyes could be vital to the program's success as they hope to return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2023. Ecuador is in a great position to secure a spot in the 2026 World Cup as they currently sit in second place in the CONMEBOL standings with 24 points. They are not guaranteed a spot yet, as several teams loom right behind them, but a win here would further move them ahead of the pack. They will be without several of their top players, including Enner Valencia, who is dealing with injury, so it will once again be up to Chelsea's Moises Caicedo to carry the load. Peru is on the outside looking in when it comes to the standings, with only 11 points, they are too far behind to catch up and secure a qualifying spot, but that does not mean they can not play with pride and make their country proud with a good showing against on of the top South American teams. Indiana Fever Make Caitlin Clark WNBA All-Star Announcement on Tuesday

Indiana Fever Make Caitlin Clark WNBA All-Star Announcement on Tuesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After winning their last two games without All-WNBA guard Caitlin Clark, the Indiana Fever have jumped to 4-4 on the young 2025 WNBA season. Advertisement On Tuesday, the Fever will be without Clark for a fifth straight game, taking on Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream. In Indiana's fourth game of the season, a narrow 90-88 loss to the New York Liberty, Clark suffered a left quad strain that has left her out for over two weeks. Still, the former Iowa Hawkeyes guard is averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game. Despite missing half of the Fever's games, Indiana announced just hours before Tuesday's matchup that fans can vote for Clark to make her second WNBA All-Star appearance, along with Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston. "⭐️ WNBA All-Star Voting June 12-28 ⭐️," the Fever wrote on X. "mark your calendars & set your alarms 🗳️ vote Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell into the @WNBA All-Star game starting Thursday at 2 p.m.!" The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Fever, on Saturday, July 19, at 8:30 p.m. ET. Voting will begin on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. ET and end on Saturday, June 28, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Advertisement This year, fans will account for 50% of the All-Star voting, while players count for 25% and the media counts for the last 25%. The four guards and six frontcourt players who tally the most votes will earn starting spots. The two players with the most votes will be named captains of their team and will select the final 12 reserve spots. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22).Brett Davis-Imagn Images The Fever, without Clark and Sophie Cunningham (right ankle), will take on the Dream on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET. Then, they will get Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty on Saturday afternoon.
