The YouTuber-turned-boxer even goaded AJ over his previous knockout losses - but Joshua warned what goes around comes around.
Paul has not DM'd Joshua since his KO tease and told SunSport: "That was the last one.
"He said, 'I can't wait to fight. you're gonna be fighting for your life and you'll know the feeling that I've gone through.' Or something like that."
Paul started his boxing journey with an exhibition bout in Manchester against Deji - the brother to his arch YouTube rival KSI.

HEAT IS ON Inside Jake Paul's camp on £30m ranch where he almost FIRED his coaches
The American has now been a professional five years and has a record of 11 wins and just one loss - coming against Tommy Fury in 2023.
And Paul wants to return to the UK to fight AJ - dreaming of a stadium full of his most volatile detractors.
He said: "My first fight was in front of an English crowd and it's rowdy.
"I love walking into the lions' den and so me vs Anthony Joshua, 100,000 people chanting "f*** Jake Paul" would be pretty fun for me."

Joshua, 35, is yet to return since being knocked out by Daniel Dubois, 27, in September and has since had elbow surgery.
Meanwhile, Paul's last fight was as controversial as it was commercially successful.
He beat Mike Tyson over eight rounds when the heavyweight great made a comeback aged 58 with over 100 MILLION watching on Netflix.

Now Paul, 28, returns TONIGHT against former middleweight champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, 39, back down at cruiserweight.
And he says a ranking with the WBC could await him with victory - putting him in line to challenge for Badou Jack's green and gold belt.
Paul said: "I think it's back to the drawing board after this, especially depending on what the WBC and WBA rank me after I win.
"If they rank me in the position where I can go for a world championship, then we're gonna try and get that done."

Germany U21s accused of pinching BEER MUGS by ‘crying hostess' who stormed team bus past security with machine guns
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A 'VISIBLY DISTRAUGHT' woman stormed past a security armed with a submachine gun onto the Germany Under-21 team bus to accuse them of stealing BEER MUGS. Antonio Di Salvo's men are aiming to tame our Young Lions in Bratislava tonight and become European champions. Germany secured their spot in the showpiece by thumping France 3-0 on Wednesday at Kosicka Futbalova Arena. Now explosive reports in their homeland have revealed that afterwards they were confronted by one of the stadium's VIP hostesses on the team bus. The fuming woman, described as being 'visibly distraught' and having 'her makeup smeared by tears', stormed the coach as staff and players waited for the few remaining stars to complete post-match doping tests. The lady marched straight past a security guard armed with a submachine gun and four stewards to board the coach and headed straight for boss Di Salvo, who was seated near the front. She then pulled out her phone and began taking several photos as the Germans looked on in total bemusement. The mugs, worth €3 each, were believed to have been provided for the match officials to enjoy some post-match fluids. Instead, 15 of them went missing and stadium staff were quick to point the finger of blame at the German players. BEST FREE BETS AND BETTING SIGN UP OFFERS A stadium supervisor told BILD: 'German players simply stole around 15 beer mugs. They probably think it's all free — but it isn't. 'That's why my employee ran onto the bus. She wanted to take photos as evidence.' England and Spain stars in mass brawl after U21 Euro quarter-final Germany denied all accusations of theft and instead claim that somebody else, not associated with them, must have removed the mugs. U21 press officer Markus Beer said: 'It was all completely different. The woman had brought several beer mugs into the catacombs, presumably for the referees. Then later, empty mugs were there, which were suddenly gone. 'Someone must have thrown them away. She obviously thought our players had simply taken them. But that was definitely not the case.' It remains unclear whether the mugs were eventually recovered by the distraught woman and staff at the Kosicka Futbalova Arena. 3 Boss Antonio Di Salvo was confronted by a 'visibly distraught' woman on the bus Credit: Getty But Lee Carsley and his England side will be going all out to ensure it is Woltemade and his pals who look the mugs at the Stadion Tehelne Pole in the Slovakian capital. And hopefully it will be them crying into their beer steins later should our boys lift the European Championship for a second-consecutive time.

Open legends extending their 25-year scrap into another Major battle
Stewart Cink and Padraig Harrington at it again after over two decades Honoured Stewart Cink admits it'll be a pleasure to enjoy yet another epic battle with fellow Open legend Padraig Harrington. The pair are set for the latest ding-dong in Colorado at the US Senior Open as they both share the halfway lead with Aussie Mark Hensby. Cink and Harrington have their names etched in the history of the Open Championship having run-off a hat-trick of Claret Jug wins. The Irishman was crowned Champion Golfer of the Year in 2007 and Carnoustie and 2008 at Royal Birkdale before the American took the honours in 2009 with his dramatic win over Tom Watson at Turnberry. The American has nothing but admiration for Harrington and said: 'We've played together so many times. I would be shocked if there's anybody I've played more golf with in major championships than Padraig Harrington over my career and it's probably by double the next guy. I just get paired with him all the time. This goes way back 20, 25 years. 'I've always respected his game and we're very good friends with their family. It's a comfortable pairing. I love watching him play. I would hope that he probably feels similarly about me. We have mutual respect for each other. He's a world class player and he's been doing it a long time. I would love it if we could go the distance here. 'We played against each other in the Ryder Cup. That's like the pinnacle of competition. I don't even know if he got the better of me or if I got the better of him. But all I know is I've watched him play a lot and I've listened to him talk a lot. He's just a great character and I have just the highest respect for his game. It's going to be fun. I feel honoured to be able to go up against him and, hopefully, he feels the same way. I thrive on it. We love it. I love the fact that I haven't played great these first two days. I've played pretty good golf but nothing spectacular, but I've watched him play kind of the same way. He's played very well and he's also made some mistakes that he probably would like to have back. Neither of us have hit our stride here, so hopefully we get a little bit better and turn the screws a little bit. I have a feeling that Harrington and I are going to be in it late.' The Dubliner returned the compliments and said: 'I played with Stewart a lot over the years and a lot of my good tournaments have been played with Stewart, so he's a good partner for me always. I think on the Champions Tour, it's a better partner because there's a lot of similarities in our clubs. 'If anything, he'd be a little bit longer than me, but I suppose I know his game enough that I can see what's happening as well. He is definitely a partner I would choose to play with.'

EPL club 'complete deal' to sign Rangers academy talent
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that an agreement is in place for the 16-year-old striker to join the Premier League outfit. Read more: Newcastle are said to have beaten several other top-flight English clubs to the youngster's signature. 🚨⚪️⚫️ Excl: Newcastle complete deal to sign talent Alfie Hutchison from Rangers, agreement in place.#NUFC beat several PL clubs to secure 16 year old striker for the Academy. — Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) June 28, 2025 It comes after Romano recently revealed that Rangers had missed out on the signing of Kwame Poku from Peterborough United. The talented winger has instead opted to sign for English Championship side Queens Park Rangers. Rangers were interested in a move, but as time has gone on, it has become increasingly apparent that the player wanted to remain in the south of England. Romano now reports that a deal for Poku to join QPR is '100 per cent done', after he signed for the club this morning. Although they have missed out on Poku and appear to have lost youngster Hutchison, Rangers completed the signing of Max Aarons during the week. The right-back became the Ibrox club's second summer addition after joining on a season-long loan deal from English Premier League side Bournemouth. He and Lyall Cameron have both been added to new head coach Russell Martin's ranks ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
