Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott grab some 'alone time' at first Glastonbury
Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott are enjoying some cosy alone time amid the calm before the Glastonbury Festival storm.
The sweet new couple have been spotted at their first Glasto together, where The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo, and Neil Young will headline over the weekend.
Of course, Worthy Farm is a celebrity hotspot at this time of year, with One Direction superstar Louis, 33, no stranger to some Glasto action—who could forget when he took a television in so revellers could watch the England football game?
This year, however, the pop star has a new companion by his side, having started dating Zara, 28, earlier in 2025 following her split from Sam Thompson, 32.
Exclusive video footage obtained by Metro captures the lovebirds stealing a moment away from the crowds.
Both were dressed in casual athletic attire, with Louis seemingly attempting to go incognito with a cap and pair of sunnies.
Ex-Love Islander Zara styled her blonde locks in a sleek ponytail and appeared to be wearing little to no makeup while tucking into a burger.
A source tells us she and Louis were 'enjoying a snack in the sunshine' away from the mob at the Interstage area.
'They didn't appear to be feeling too chatty but smiled between bites, enjoying some quiet alone time,' added the insider.
Silver Tongues hitmaker Louis is said to have 'charmed' Zara several months ago.
A source claimed previously that 'it's clear [Louis] thinks she's drop-dead gorgeous'.
Zara dated podcaster and presenter Sam Thompson for five years, shocking fans when they called it quits over the festive period.
While Zara has fully moved on, Sam was believed to be dating Love Island and reality star Sami Elishi for two months, having been papped snogging at a party.
But it's said their romance has now 'fizzled out', with conflicting schedules preventing them from spending any real time together.
MailOnline confirmed the split today, while Zara parties it up with Louis at Glasto.
'For Sam, it was his first relationship since his split from Zara, and the feeling is he would rather concentrate on work before getting into another long-term commitment,' a source told the publication.
Neither Zara nor Louis has spoken publicly about their blossoming relationship, but it's clear fans are invested.
Giving the world a glimpse into his feelings for his new girlfriend last month, Louis left his first comment on Zara's Instagram post about her upcoming BBC docuseries.
'Proud of you x', he wrote simply in a comment that has since garnered almost 30,000 likes.
Louis's influencer sisters also expressed admiration for Zara in the comments, proving she's already been made welcome in the family.
But for the Directioners who are also Sam fans, fear not, because there isn't believed to be any bad blood between Zara's men.
According to insiders, the pair held a 'peace dinner' last week while training together for Soccer Aid, hoping to avoid any awkwardness.
As per The Sun, Zara's ex and her new lover dined at Champneys in Tring, Herts, with other teammates present.
A source told the publication: 'There is no beef between the pair, and they're both going to ensure their love lives don't distract from such a big charity spectacle.
'They are fully aware that their every move is being scrutinised, and they've broken bread with their teammates, so it'll be smooth sailing on the day.'
Sam also spoke about the atmosphere between himself and Louis while chatting to Pete Wicks on their Staying Relevant podcast.
Ahead of kick-off, Sam was caught off guard by an interviewer who wanted the gossip. But, he was determined to string an answer together, despite the panic of his team.
'I think I did alright, and I meant everything I said as well,' he began, stressing that Soccer Aid is not about him, nor is it about Louis—it's about UNICEF.
'Everyone is going to be there for the exact same reason,' Sam said.
'And if [Louis] has anything about him, which I've heard he does, he's going to sit there and say the exact same thing.' More Trending
Pete applauded him for handling the potentially uncomfortable situation with grace, sarcastically asking whether he shed tears once the call ended.
'I came off, and I wasn't far off that [crying], and I didn't realise I was sweating so hard I had sweat patches under my arms,' Sam said. 'You know when you're sweating buckets? And I turned around to our PR and was like, 'Was that OK?''
Since striking up a romance, Louis has been spotted packing on the PDA on several occasions.
They've also holidayed in Costa Rica, and she joined him in Los Angeles.

Vicki hits 'tragic' pervert Joel with a very serious warning in EastEnders
Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) has issued her final warning to sick Joel Marshall (Max Murray) in EastEnders. It's about time that somebody shuts down his disgusting behaviour once and for all – but with Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) reluctant to turn his back on his son, he's pretty much been given free reign to do whatever he wants. In tonight's episode, however, Vicki swore to put a stop to that. She can see that her partner is effectively enabling Joel's vile ways, and won't stand for it any longer. Soon after his arrival, we discovered that Joel had upskirted a pupil in his class, and her family had ordered him to leave Australia in exchange for their silence. They'd also accepted a hefty $50,000 sum. The teen showed no signs of changing – recording himself sleeping with Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), and introducing Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) to pornography. He then showed his new mate videos from an influencer, who spoke about women in a derogatory manner. The lads skived off school to take a trip into The City. On their journey home, Joel demanded Tommy whip out his phone and record something shocking. He stumbled through the carriage, falling onto a girl and touching her inappropriately. Later, Vicki met up with the victim and handed her £2,000 in exchange for her silence. In the aftermath, despite promising to do better, Joel has tore strips off Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), before seemingly leaking the latter's SecretCam content online. This came just days after Ross snapped branded his son a 'disgusting little pervert.' With the police reluctant to investigate, this couldn't be proved – but Stace' is adamant that he's responsible. Joel spiralled further after learning that Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) had aborted their unborn child, and attempted to slap her. A furious Vicki charged in his way, and dragged him home. He reeled off a number of sick ideologies, including his belief that reproduction is the purpose of womanhood. She begged him to open his eyes and wondered if he looked at her any different having not had any children herself. In a truly horrifying move, he asserted that if she pushes him further, she'd find out that a 'proper slapping would do [her] the world of good.' In tonight's episode, Joel goaded Stacey, spelling it out to her that he was responsible for leaking her content and didn't care about the consequences for her. She asserted that he was nothing more than a 'dirty, disgusting little perv' and while he may have fooled the others, he hadn't fooled her. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Meanwhile, Vicky attempted to corner Ross and fill him in on last week's events – but he quickly shut her down. More Trending Realising that her family's trauma would only continue for as long as Ross brushed off her concerns, she then caught Joel outside, calling him 'tragic'. He laughed in her face, but the smirk was soon wiped off when she told him in future she wouldn't hesitate to call the police. View More » Will Joel finally learn a lesson? Fans fear the best show of 2025 'could suffer' after devastating update
Ben Stiller has left fans worried after revealing he is stepping back from directing the upcoming third season of Severance. The hit Apple TV+ drama has been hailed as much-watch TV by viewers and critics alike since it first premiered in 2022, following employees in the macrodata refinement team at the mysterious Lumon Industries. It emerges that they have undergone a procedure which disconnects their work selves (innies) from who they really are on the outside (outies), effectively creating two different people. Adam Scott leads the star-studded cast, alongside Britt Lower, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, Christopher Walken, Tramell Tillman and Patricia Arquette. Ben serves as the executive producer for the series and has been behind the camera for the majority of the episodes so far – but confirmed that he will be taking a back seat from directing the third season. Instead, the LA Times reports that he will be focusing his efforts on a World War II survival film, which tells the story of an airman in occupied France who gets 'involved with the French Resistance'. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video However, the Meet The Parents star is still heavily involved in the program, and spent a lot of time planning for season three alongside showrunner Dan Erickson and the writing team. Fans were left devastated by the update and flocked to Reddit to discuss what this could possibly mean for the series going forward. DoubleA77 posted: 'Wow that's a real shame. His directing has been one of the big highlights of the show. 'I do hope this at least lets other talent shine like Jessica Lee Gagne's episode 7 from S2.' MajinJellyBean fumed: 'Just great. He directed easily the best episodes of the entire show. His directing is so far and beyond anyone else on the show you can tell when he's doing an episode before you see the ending credits. 'Show could suffer without him directing the most important episodes.' Dotcalm agreed: 'In my opinion he directed all the best episodes. Huge bummer he won't return.' 'F****k. This tends to happen with third seasons of shows where either the showrunner or the 'name' director drops out. Hope the quality doesn't suffer,' TheTruckWashChannel wrote. As IgloosRuleOK reminded fans: 'It's a bummer, but he's still EP, still occasionally in the writers room and said he'll be involved until the end.' After a painful three-year wait, the second season of Severance finally hit our screens at the beginning of 2025, transporting viewers back to those bright white corridors of the Lumon offices. More Trending It dominated the charts on the streaming services, with impressed critics stating that 'Severance is already wearing the belt for the best show on television'. The episodes somehow ended on a more painful cliffhanger than the first series, but Ben previously insisted that we won't be waiting as long for it to return. 'No, the plan is not to [wait three years],' he promised on the New Heights podcast. 'Hopefully we'll be announcing what the plan is very soon.'
