While the party behind this message remains unknown, this aerial protest follows speculations that surfaced last month about Tesla 's board considering Musk's replacement as CEO.On April 22, a plane with the same banner slogan was spotted flying over the Texas Capitol building and downtown Austin, corresponding with Tesla's earnings call, reports THE Irish Star.The dispute originally began over Trump's budget bill but quickly escalated after Musk claimed that Trump wouldn't have won the election without his help. Trump then hinted that he might turn the federal government against Musk's businesses, including Tesla and SpaceX.The confrontation reached feverish levels as Musk insinuated that Trump's reluctance to release files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was because Trump himself appeared in them.The dispute escalated dramatically when Musk claimed that President Trump had not released files related to the infamous paedophile Jeffrey Epstein because Trump himself was implicated in them.On June 5, Musk posted on X, 'Time to drop the really big bomb. @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!' Although this post has since been deleted.In response, President Trump appeared unfazed by the controversy, telling CNN, 'I'm not even thinking about Elon. He's got a problem. The poor guy's got a problem.'Meanwhile, Tesla's shares plunged over 14% in a sharp sell-off as investors reacted to the escalating feud between the CEO and the U.S. President. By the close of trading yesterday, Musk's personal fortune had dropped by an estimated $34 billion—nearly matching the largest single-day loss he suffered back in November 2021. Tesla's market value also took a huge hit, shedding about $150 billion.Despite this massive setback, Musk remains the world's richest person, with an estimated net worth of $334.5 billion. In after-hours trading, Tesla shares rebounded slightly, gaining 0.8%.Investors had poured hundreds of billions into Tesla stock following Trump's election, betting that political factors would favor the company. However, the recent turmoil has served as a reminder of the risks involved in such speculation.

India continues to be a strategic market for both global and domestic brands, said Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha. She made the remarks after attending the NRF 25 retail event held in Singapore from 3 to 6 June. Following the e-commerce major's launch in Singapore on 19 May, Myntra Global has reported growing user engagement, a healthy average order value and a notable share of returning customers. Singapore launch 'With the launch of Myntra Global in Singapore, we're also laying the foundation for our global foray, with a long-term aspiration to serve the Indian diaspora beyond India,' Sinha said. The company in May said that it aims to assess consumer preferences, selection patterns and brand traction before planning wider expansion. Initial targets include reaching 12–15 per cent of the Indian consumer base in Singapore. The Walmart-owned company is currently targeting the 650,000 Indians living in Singapore. Sinha noted that the company's India-based platform had already recorded around 30,000 users from Singapore prior to the launch. 'For now, our focus is on learning, getting product–market fit right and then expanding.' 'At less than 15 per cent, e-fashion in India is still significantly underpenetrated compared to global benchmarks, presenting a tremendous opportunity,' she said. Sinha added, 'The new-age insurgent brands are tailoring their value proposition,' while highlighting the Indian market's rising importance. Customer segment A key focus for Myntra is the Gen Z customer segment, which interacts with fashion differently and expects a customised shopping experience. 'The aspirational Indian shopper is trading up across beauty, accessories and occasion-wear, and Myntra, as one of India's leading e-lifestyle destinations, is well poised to cater to the aspirational and evolving customer needs,' Sinha said.

Tribal student from Pachamalai Hills in Tamil Nadu secures seat in law university
S. Bharath, a 17-year-old from a Scheduled Tribe (ST) community at Thonur village in Pachamalai Hills of Tiruchi district, has secured a seat in the Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) after topping the list of students from 28 Government Tribal Residential Schools in the State who appeared for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). His achievement earned him a congratulatory message from Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Saturday (June 7, 2025). In a message on X, the Chief Minister said he hoped Mr. Bharath would use his training as a lawyer to help his community. He also said the student would have the support of the DMK's legal wing, and the mentorship of its secretary N.R. Elango till the completion of his studies. Mr. Bharath studied at the Government Tribal Higher Secondary School in Chinna Illupur and secured an all-India ST rank of 964. He secured admission to the B. Com, LLB (Hons) course at TNNLU through the 7.5% reservation for ST government school students in Tamil Nadu. He lost his mother at an early age, and is the eldest of three siblings. Mr. Bharath's father A. Selvakumar is a daily wage labourer. 'This is a milestone for Bharath, as it shows his capability in a competitive academic field. It will inspire future generations of our students to join the country's legal profession. We hope he will utilise his education to contribute to the welfare of the tribal community,' P. Arjuselvam, headmaster of the school run by the Tribal Welfare Department, told The Hindu. The school has 185 students from the tribal community, and has been encouraging them to take competitive exams in various fields for the past two years. Mr. Bharath secured the TNNLU seat in the second round of counselling, and got it confirmed at the student help desk at Government Model Higher Secondary School in Thuvakudi on June 4. He completed Class 12 in the Commerce stream, scoring 356 out of 600, and scored 353 out of 500 in Class 10 — both in Tamil medium. He was one of six students who prepared for the English-medium CLAT with the help of coaching classes conducted in partnership with private institutions, facilitated by the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, and an orientation programme held at TNNLU before the exam. The total cost of his law degree, including the seat-confirming fee of ₹20,000, will be sponsored by the department.

Dr Karad was honoured by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at a programme organised in the US by the Religious Liberty and Business Foundation in the US.
