Eating sugar first thing causes a massive glucose spike. Start your day with protein or fiber-rich foods.
A cucumber salad or greens before any meal helps slow down glucose absorption.
Protein slows down glucose spikes and keeps you full longer.
Pair carbs (like rice or roti) with protein (eggs, dal, paneer) and fiber (salads, veggies). Also read | Fitness coach reveals 5 sustainable habits for faster weight loss, shares best sources of protein for vegetarians
Stop worrying about calories and instead focus on quantity — 100g rice max with lots of sides.
Ensure to finish your dinner before 7 PM to let your body repair instead of digest at night.
Even those tiny sugar cubes or flavored drinks can spike insulin. Cut them out.
A 10-minute walk post-lunch or dinner can help control glucose and boost metabolism.
Boiled eggs, nuts, or Greek yogurt can help manage cravings. Avoid unhealthy snacks such as chips or biscuits.
Breads, biscuits, and cakes spike glucose fast. Avoid them and focus on real foods.

The Best Way To Eat Your Food

A viral eating method shared by a health expert shows the best way to eat to enhance satiety and prevent overeating. It promotes mindful eating. Our relationship with food depends not just on what we eat, but also on how we eat it. How you chew your food, whether you eat it while watching TV or while stressing about work - all these factors, and more, contribute to the impact of food on our bodies. Explaining the benefits of this healthy eating style, she shares, "Eating like this will help your body release GLP-1 naturally - the hormone that Ozempic tries to mimic that breaks down your blood sugar. This will awaken the body's cellular intelligence and enhance digestion multifold. And it's so simple! But only effective upon implementation. Try it just for 3 days or a week and experience the change." How To Eat Your Food To Reduce Cravings And Prevent Overeating First, you take a bite of what you are eating and put the spoon down. Now place your hands in your lap. Chew your food and before you swallow, notice the texture of the food. Now here is where the money lies, says the expert. Once you have swallowed and before you pick that spoon back up, you want to make sure that you have exhaled through your nose. Not a loud exhale, but just a gentle one. Continue eating and follow the same for every morsel. It can be challenging at first, but according to the experts, you will experience a positive shift in just three days. "I Can Get You A Chair": Boss Asks Employee To Return To Work With Broken Leg. WhatsApp Chat Goes Viral

A WhatsApp chat between a new employee and his boss has gone viral, sparking a discussion on toxic work culture. Ben Askins, who regularly shares content about toxic workplaces and exploitative managers, posted the WhatsApp chat on Instagram. According to the conversation shown in the clip, a manager repeatedly asked the employee to return to work despite the worker suffering a broken leg in a bike accident. The manager starts the conversation with a polite message asking him about his whereabouts. The employee informs him that he has a broken leg and is currently in the hospital. However, instead of showing concern for his well-being, the boss tries to convince him to return to work by Friday. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ben Askins (@ The injured employee explains that the doctors have advised him to take bed rest for a few days. But the boss keeps insisting and says doctors are "overly cautious". The employee politely responds that he will definitely come back if the doctor permits. The boss then says, "Ideally, I need you in for the Friday shift, do you think you will make it? I can get you a chair." When all his attempts fail, the boss then tries to guilt-trip the worker and accuses them of taking time off after joining the company two weeks prior. And this was the breaking point for the employee. "Then let me make it even easier for you. I quit," he responds. Since being shared, the post has gone viral. In the comments section, several users praised the employee for standing up for himself and quitting, while others shared similar experiences from their own workplaces. "I absolutely believe this is real.. worked in call centre.. where a woman with a broken ankle came in (forced to) and they turned a metal waste paper bin for her to put her foot on.. she left after a few hours the pain was so bad.. but they had forced her to come to work," shared one user.
